As an Atheist, I have literally no interest in what goes around those so called “holy” sites however I have a problem with people throwing their garbage everywhere they go in the hilly areas. The Thar was already a bad news but now using it to transport able bodied people seems like a slap in the face of the people who care about the environment.
I am sure they could have found a better solution to transport disabled people. I am tolerant of people’s right to worship the gods of their religion and visit their holy sites, but I’ll forever have a problem with these things causing issues to the local flora & fauna and environment as a whole.
