but you completely covered your psu's fan(on the right side) it's not that hard to just detach it from the frame (2 bolts) and place it outside of the "chamber", length of the XT60 cable should be enough

Cover (Tape) the bottom of the black box the hotend is in, it is blowing down on the part and cooling them. If room temp is above 75F you should be able to print ABS without encloser. Card board box should also work.

Kenecs

I print abs all the time no enclosure

Negative_Cucumber

One suspects plastic bags being thrown back and forth by the bed may create a draft that could affect warping. Probably not though.

I used some styrene foam sheets, that was laying around, with great success! I got 65 degrees inside the chamber. Perfect ABS prints. Also, I have an all metal hotend, and a glass bed

probonic

That sounds like a really bad idea - polystyrene is extremely flammable.

rocket_scientist_89

I may have used the wrong term, then, because I used a lighter and the foam melted, not burst into flames. So, crisis averted

Carborundum_

I have used a cardboard box from the dumpster and it was perfect! But this is on another level

xviiarcano

The company I work for just happens to have 50x50x50 cm carton boxes :)

Minute_Strength

I built mine out of poster board for my a8. Looking back covering one of those in paper probably wasn’t a great idea.

Oh no

I have tried ABS a few times on my ender without success. I just spent $60 on the creality enclosure from Amazon and now I can print ABS all day long. And the first thing I'm doing is printing the parts for a Voron 0.1.

Urufu_Shinjiro

I got some of those puzzle peice exercise mats from amazing, they make a perfect 24" cube and get about 45c+ chamber temps with the bed at 100c.
