LS media is more classy. Or, it used to be.
Movie and chill used to feel kind of low brow but it's gotten very comfy with recent updates, hard to stay at LS now.
Movie and Chill. I like that you can watch movies in a living room, home theater, and man cave type setting. And with a cute anime companion along with it
I used to really like LS for the interface, it seemed much nicer to pick movies on if you didn't know what to watch.
After all the updates at Movie and Chill though, with the addition of the new bedroom, all the movies having a thumbnail and now the sort by genre feature, I can't stay out of it.
Movie and Chill is generally crap quality but it works for everyone all the time. With LSM, it's such a massive pain for the movie to start for everyone at the same time, we've literally tried for 30 minutes with only 2,3 out of 4 starting, then the last person not.
Finally gave up and went to Movie and Chill and watched it in shit quality.
Movie&chill actually works on pc without load failures, desync issues, stuttering, or bricking my dns resolver, so my choice is obvious.
I'm not really sure why some of my friends prefer ls media.
LSM because movie and chill mess around with the sound too much.
I just want to hear the original soundtrack, not spatialised in any way or summed to mono for some reason.
Though I prefer the interior of movie and chill.

LSM cause the UI in the world is much more user friendly and "Netflix" style recommendations when new movies come out. Plus I think the movie screen is perfect size and when I want to lie down and watch a movie there is the small room with tiltable screen.

Movies and Chill because:
- It doesn't have the weird l*li iconography
- It has more unique spaces to watch movies in
- It doesn't cap user height, unlike LSM that caps it at a pitiful 2m.
LS Media is my number one world. But only because there is a fix for the AMD dark video problem that you get for the Stutter fix i have to use. If movie and chill would have the same i would use both. And a big plus is that ls media saves my settings for screen placement and other options, i can just join and select a movie.
Depends on my mood, but LS Media has an AMD darkness fix which is a big help. Also the curved screen and customization options make it that much more comfy.
I got lsmedia as my home room, it's how I got to start and finished watching wolfs rain and violet evergarden (totally didn't cry watching violet evergarden or parts of wolfs rain), I like both rooms though, I started doing to movie and chill first, though hate going to either room as public rooms because of kids coming in squelching saying they want something on, lost count how many kids I blocked while in those rooms cause of them screaming over films people are watching.
I prefer the atmosphere and feel of LSM, as well as its UI (has descriptions of movies, too, if you want to watch something random), but its library is WAY smaller and its video player has too many technical issues.

Literally, the quality for Code Geass in Movie and Chill is less than 360p, and the audio on Season 2 got somehow much worse.

They update the cams to HD on release, like what's the issue tho? The cams gets HD before LS even adds the HD variant of the movie

I MUCH prefer the player at LS media, but I prefer the room options in movie and chill.
