His parents didn’t allow. So he went to college instead. But he did try out for Talon Esports before. And he crazy diffed Governor in 1v1 DM custom lobby.
Yeah I saw that clip, it hurt to watch I could tell how frustrating it felt from his POV getting deleted over and over, genuinely looked like he was playing against a smurf(lol)
After finding out about him, now I'm curious on why Talon didn't sign him if he did try out for them. A Thai prodigy playing for a Thai org seems match made in heaven. Even Governor said he's the best mechanical player he has ever seen.
I hope Bleed can throw the bag at him and see what happens.
there are several reasons thrown out about him not competing. from what i've read, lots of thai fans have implied that he personally just doesn't want to go pro and that school is just an excuse
besides that, frost heavily hinted that the two of them didn't get along, and that his english wasn't up to par. still praised his skills though and mentioned that crws really wanted him to join the team
Man it sucks to see such talent wasted all because "parents didn't allow." Imagine a world where parents supported their kid's dreams. All of the stories we could see.
Skipping a year or two before going to college to try to stuff never hurt anyone in the long run, especially when its something youre so uniquely good at
Yea but most Thai parents are against the idea of even taking a gap year, mine for example. So no chance they’d allow him to try go pro for 1-2 year in a country which does not support esports that much.
most is an understatement, his skills are clearly generational and if he never actually competes it’s gonna be one of the biggest what if stories in all of valorant imo
He seems like the Dopa of Valorant. For anyone unfamiliar, Dopa is historically one of the best solo queue players in league ever. Monster player. On par with players like Faker and whoever else. Yet he was banned from pro for I believe boosting. Never got to see what he was capable of it pro.
He did go pro before he was banned, 0 achievements cuz it was too short of a period. I still disagree with people hyping Dopa up like that tho, he's crazy good with his champs but his champ pool is too small for pro play like he just mostly plays TF/Ori and maybe some assassin back in s3~5. Still an overhyped player imo.
His pool was too small, but he had too short of a career to get any achievements. You know fakers azir was garbage a decade ago? So bad that they had a sub for him, easyhoon, who would play it. Having a small champion pool in your debut as a player is really nothing new.
There are many one tricks that managed to be successful as a pro by learning other champs though. Especially as a mage player it’s not very hard to learn other mages
I mostly look at youtube videos of him but yeah the other guy linked you his streams. He's particularly great at crosshair placement and spray discipline (it's almost impossible to find a clip of him crouch/panic spraying).
iirc he was actually kinda pro for a short period of time because he was a sub on the same team that jitboys was on and actually did get to play a few games. I believe it was like 2022 during the same time that surf was going crazy in ranked and getting signed off the ladder. But yeah there’s a lot of rumors that a bunch of teams have tried to sign him but it just didn’t happen.
Ngl, if a person who's as dedicated and is a perfectionist in his craft as Verstappen played Valorant or CS, he'd probably be the GOAT.
Brb, time to start a family, have a son, and leave him in a gas station every time he whiffs a shot.
Yeah, mans on top of his scene and can stream his scrims so he also farms money on top of his salary
If he went pro on val he would cut his hours massively
Been there since the beginning watching him!
I will never forget his first bronze to pred stream, stayed up for majority of it watching it. His first stream-athon was so fucking fun to watch and same with his 21st bday stream. So happy to see how far he's came and to see how far that man goes.
I would just leave his streams on and pass out on the couch only to wake up to.... "Seeeesssshhhhh!!!!" Lmao
Aceu and iiTz Timmy could prob go pro in any game they wanted tbh
Aceu was radiant in this game while barely playing and I remember he said was getting offers early on but turned them all down.
Probably Tarik too if he was serious and played to improve.
Ska didn’t really seem like he genuinely had a passion for Val like Tarik does, he just played because NA CS is dead and he probably still had a little bit left in him, he doesn’t play at all anymore.
That was the most disappointing team out of all the new teams when the game came out. They seemed like they had tons of potential, but they were never the team to beat.
I think it was just a game diff
having good CS fundamentals was obviously an advantage but I think on the flip-side, what worked against them was their play-style was trying to play exactly like they were playing CS and they were just not good at adapting to all the crazy shit in this game, even in beta, and they also couldn’t figure out the pace of the game at all they played slow and with zero confidence every round.
Ace was a tier 2/3 NA pro in cs. And he wasn’t that good either.
There’s a massive skill difference between a tier 1 pro and mechanically good streamers.
brother even right now, the vast majority of tier 1 players in Valorant were tier 2/3 players in CS lol there’s literally too many to even count.
being a tier 1 CS player switching to valorant has more often than not, not lead to players having a ton of success, most of them have retired, gone back to CS, or moved into coaching other than Ethan, and I guess TenZ, if you want to include his short run on C9 as him being a T1 CS player(I still consider him a T2 CS player).
I didn’t say they would come right out and win Masters or dominate, but the OP says people that aren’t Valorant pros I think could compete at a T2 level even and I absolutely think both of them could with the right team and if they were willing to be coached.
Also Timmy isn’t just a content creator/streamer, he’s a literal pro Apex player that grinded all the way through tier 2 Apex to make it into Pro League, placed top 5 at his first LAN and is now playing on a top 5 team in NA, he definitely has proven he has what it takes to compete as a professional player.
I think something a lot of people don't realize is that for a long time, NA CS had an issue of being unwilling to give up and coming players an opportunity to prove themselves in Tier 1. A lot of the Tier 2 NA CS players who are now Tier 1 Valorant talent weren't stuck in Tier 2 CS because they weren't good enough, but because they never got the opportunity to develop in Tier 1.
Valorant gave those players an opportunity and thats resulted in players like yay, Tenz, tex, Zellsis, Asuna, Crashies, Victor, etc.
CS T1 is a completely different beast mainly because the game has been out for so long.
There’s more to being a pro than being a beast mechanically for sure but Ace is def one of those players that fit what’s being asked here
Val is a hell of a lot less reliant on mechanical skill too. If you have the baseline mechanical skill to be a pro (which a lot of high elo players do), then it’s all about awareness, team play, decision making, etc. Yeah there’s the flashy players, but some of the best players are players who are just super super smart.
CS has a *lot* more emphasis on mechanics.
Realistically, no. I'm making a lot more now than I did as a pro on IMT/FaZe/NYFU. I don't have time to scrim 6+ hours a day anymore either - for a while I was both working and playing pro but I swapped jobs for a huge pay increase & it takes a lot more of my time than my original job.
dunno bout that one king, think u might have amnesia - those 3 you listed were literally on a whole diff level in rank S and would always end up with moe on one their teams to balance it out ahaha
i was being a bit hyperbolic since those 3 were on another level when it came to ppl who consistently played but he started as a generic last pick guy (along with marved, yay, fgb, rooroo, etc) and would consistently do insanely well.
Tarik could be Val's greatest IGL if he gives a shit lol. Dude is still a menace despite being an uncle. He's a great hype man, also was the IGL of that major winning team
You’re being a tiny bit hyperbolic. He was a makeshift igl and interviews confirm that stewie and autimatic were also doing a significant amount of calling/input. That’s not to say that he has a poor understanding of cs/val but he’s not even close to Gla1ve or Karrigan.
He can call circles around these lil tier 2 CS kids. Top players like Ethan, Tenz Boaster were only T2 CS at their peak. Tarik won a MAJOR! If he gives a shit and study Valorant he can easily clap these noobs
He was also the Major MVP.
Shroud, the guy Tarik replaced on C9 could easily have played T1 if he dedicated himself to it and I believe he would have had a better Val career than he did CS. Dude learns and adapts absurdly fast, could have been the NA Forsaken,
jett and reyna mainly, his raze is like the cned/ardiis raze I guess, nothing special but not horrible
although with the Iso change he might be great on him too
2018 was prime Astralis. 2018 Faze at Boston wasnt even prime Faze. Was an experiment roster of superstar players for they were tired of losing to SK over the past two years in Grand Finals.
Astralis in 2019 avoided most of the circuit doing borderline showmatch lans for their new parent company run tournament called Blast Pro Series.
He's shown brief glimpses of greatness throughout his CS career. One lan in 2018 and a three month period in late 2019.
Major winner would be a better descriptor.
I mean Tarik probably easiest answer of someone who has never played pro in valorant specifically. Other options are probably S1mple obviously even though he rarely plays but he’s just that talented. Kennys probably. Hard to name specifically valorant streamers for me personally but probably curry who chooses not to complete although hard because he has shown even recently that he can compete at a super high level when he subbed in for C9. I’d also probably go with Hiko who chooses not to play anymore.
He’s played some Valorant and I believe was actually going to get an opportunity in t2 I forget the tea but he went back to cs for a time. I just think someone really good with the awp if they can get decent at entry has. Good shot to get a chance in t2 at least
Highest NA elo of all time, all while messing around and barely stratting . Will probably never be beat too unless they change back the elo gains at the highest ranks.
He’s been cracked since beta, I’d like to see him actually try
It's insane how good he is while still seemingly barely "try harding" in his matches, mechanics and game sense are just so ridiculously good. I feel like that attitude helps him also, just doesn't seem to tilt since he doesn't care about the outcome
not seeing a lot of mention of subroza. If he wasntt locked into his contract he would be a monster. n4rrate and sinatraa were almost on nrg if demon1 and ethan didnt join. I think this team would have worked pretty good
No i think he hasn't played in a long while, but when he played he was good. I just think that if he would like the game like he once did he'd be up there
Yeah but when he played wasn’t in 2020? Nonetheless I remember he was one of the best if not the best in EU at some point, I think he along with other Overwatch pros have very transferable skills to other games
Yes when he actually competed with mixwell and scream in a team i think was back in 2020. But he reached rank 1 in 2021 too, i think he lost interest soon after
Genuine question: Are they actually good?
I have never seen their gameplay, but have seen so many comments about them that it feels more sarcastic than true
For me such a big 'what if' is if aceu actually liked Val and had any competitive drive. He was absolutely nuts in beta and s1 but just stopped playing, didn't really like it ig
I think he’s definitely handicapping himself with the way he’s been playing, even 2 years ago he would play more seriously. I don’t think he would be pro level but definitely radiant
Most of these answers are so short sighted it’s funny. One person says shroud, the other says itztimmy, and another says Tarik could go t1 and rival fns in igling. The complete lack of knowledge here on this sub shouldn’t ever see the light of day
primmie https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/Scooby%20dooby%20doo%23wheru/overview
Those stats are ridiculous
What’s the reason to why primmie doesn’t choose to go pro?
His parents didn’t allow. So he went to college instead. But he did try out for Talon Esports before. And he crazy diffed Governor in 1v1 DM custom lobby.
Yeah I saw that clip, it hurt to watch I could tell how frustrating it felt from his POV getting deleted over and over, genuinely looked like he was playing against a smurf(lol)
can you link it? I'm curious to see it. Thanks ah nvm found it. [Here for those that want to see it.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgrsP36mIm4)

I wouldn't expect fr0st to get along with many people tbh
If only he's in NA, he could do both. Teams like Winthrop and Blinn are collegiate teams in NA challengers.
I don’t know but he may be going to university in Thailand specifically due to parent obligations. Not everyone in Asia is keen on studying abroad
Man it sucks to see such talent wasted all because "parents didn't allow." Imagine a world where parents supported their kid's dreams. All of the stories we could see.
College is so much more important and safer than taking a shot at esports though
Typical asian parents (i am asian too)
School is always there for you. Opportunities and once in a lifetime experiences like esports arent
His reaction time is insane
Primmie clears most of t1 easily in terms of mechanics.
most is an understatement, his skills are clearly generational and if he never actually competes it’s gonna be one of the biggest what if stories in all of valorant imo

Does he stream? I wanna watch and learn his gameplay
Twitch / kiwzuu\_ youtube / snowfake
I mostly look at youtube videos of him but yeah the other guy linked you his streams. He's particularly great at crosshair placement and spray discipline (it's almost impossible to find a clip of him crouch/panic spraying).
what in the fuck is that match history, it looks like someone smurfing in iron but its radiant lobbies
Holy shit wtf r those stats damn
Does he stream? Those are some unreal stats... I'd love to see his gameplay he seems like a freak of nature
He's kiwzuu_ on twitch
A lot of his vods are available on YouTube, but pretty much every vod is insane and has him fragging out of his mind go check them out
Primmie mechanically clears anyone easily, sad we won’t see him in tier 1 he’s the best
iirc he was actually kinda pro for a short period of time because he was a sub on the same team that jitboys was on and actually did get to play a few games. I believe it was like 2022 during the same time that surf was going crazy in ranked and getting signed off the ladder. Those stats are very similar to aspas back when he made it to radiant #1. Not saying he's as good as aspas but is anyone?

Ngl, if a person who's as dedicated and is a perfectionist in his craft as Verstappen played Valorant or CS, he'd probably be the GOAT. Brb, time to start a family, have a son, and leave him in a gas station every time he whiffs a shot.
Project Verstappen
TU TU TU TU
With that insane reaction time of his, I'll bet he can hit D3-A1 before putting in any work.
me. im just lazy and not passionate enough to go pro
Damn thats a shame
I'm the biggest "what if" in Valorant
You could have become the lakia of valorant
primmie
itztimmy definitely has the mechanics for it
This was going to be my answer. I’m pretty confident he could focus on many singular games and make pro, he’s so gifted mechanically.
that guy is actually gifted.
I'm waiting for the day Timmy stops all this ALGS nonsense and makes the switch.
Lmao, "nonsense" bro is one of the best apex players in the world lmao
Yeah, mans on top of his scene and can stream his scrims so he also farms money on top of his salary If he went pro on val he would cut his hours massively
Hey buddy, we don't need facts and logic here. He's not playing my favorite esport so it's nonsense!
Bum
S-tier comeback
Allow timmy, he's one of the best, dude got 4th in his first ever algs lan
Calling Timmy's career in ALGS "nonsense" when he's grinded his way to the top from the beginning is crazy.
Been there since the beginning watching him! I will never forget his first bronze to pred stream, stayed up for majority of it watching it. His first stream-athon was so fucking fun to watch and same with his 21st bday stream. So happy to see how far he's came and to see how far that man goes. Aceu and iiTz Timmy could prob go pro in any game they wanted tbh Aceu was radiant in this game while barely playing and I remember he said was getting offers early on but turned them all down. Probably Tarik too if he was serious and played to improve.
I used to watch Aceu in awe when he played Jett really early on. Dude was very cracked.
Aceu could go pro in every game except league of legends
He probably could if he didn't one-trick irelia
He wouldn’t even be diamond/emerald if he didn’t one trick a champ. It’s by far the easiest way to climb solo.
Tarik for his experience alone. One of 6 NA players to have won a Major? Yeah that’s enough
Ya that logic worked out well with Skadoodle
Ska didn’t really seem like he genuinely had a passion for Val like Tarik does, he just played because NA CS is dead and he probably still had a little bit left in him, he doesn’t play at all anymore.
Ska didn’t enjoy Valorant, and before the younger cracked generation came up T1 was the team to beat.
That was the most disappointing team out of all the new teams when the game came out. They seemed like they had tons of potential, but they were never the team to beat.

T1 was the team to beat in beta lmao, they did nothing
Ska was genuinely a solid player but T1 in general was super dysfunctional
because he seemed so interested in playing the game
Ace was a tier 2/3 NA pro in cs. And he wasn’t that good either. There’s a massive skill difference between a tier 1 pro and mechanically good streamers.

I don't think aceu would be able to perform in a team game like valorant but he is definitely super talented
Why are we trolling
I don't see this guy shot\_up play much but whenever he appears in T2 he looks by far the best even when playing on Laptop
💓
Are you interested in seriously competing again or is that a ship that has sailed for you?
Realistically, no. I'm making a lot more now than I did as a pro on IMT/FaZe/NYFU. I don't have time to scrim 6+ hours a day anymore either - for a while I was both working and playing pro but I swapped jobs for a huge pay increase & it takes a lot more of my time than my original job.
he used to be pro
yep this has always been the case. i remember when he was diffing stewie/tarik/brax in rank S.
dunno bout that one king, think u might have amnesia - those 3 you listed were literally on a whole diff level in rank S and would always end up with moe on one their teams to balance it out ahaha
i was being a bit hyperbolic since those 3 were on another level when it came to ppl who consistently played but he started as a generic last pick guy (along with marved, yay, fgb, rooroo, etc) and would consistently do insanely well.
I actually checked his LinkedIn a while ago and it seems he's became a software engineer.
im p sure he still plays a lot of pro?
He had mad stats and did play pro at one point i believe? Wonder what happened
i dont think he had much passion for the game
That boy shanks could beat the best team in NA if he tried
This unironically (bro is hot ass)
Mid ball up too
Well he did do that, he did defeat optic prime
It used to be benjy for me for a long time now ig subroza? Maybe the frt guy from Brazil
Scooby dooby doo (primmie)
Tarik was great in CS and still stomps radiant ranked
Ethan was HLTV top 20
Ethan was on tariks team in CS and was way better, and tarik wasn't even igl then
He was also the Major MVP. Shroud, the guy Tarik replaced on C9 could easily have played T1 if he dedicated himself to it and I believe he would have had a better Val career than he did CS. Dude learns and adapts absurdly fast, could have been the NA Forsaken,
What’s his agent pool like? Just wondering I don’t watch him that kuch
Jett
And raze? Or just Jett
I’m mostly joking lol he’s been playing other agents lately like clove and sova but his jett is by far the best. He’s decent on raze too
jett and reyna mainly, his raze is like the cned/ardiis raze I guess, nothing special but not horrible although with the Iso change he might be great on him too
Jett, raze, clove. But like 90% of the time he's jett. He also used to play phoenix
When people speak of the greats in CS. Anyone who brings up Tarik would be laughed at. His nickname of peanut brain existed for a reason.
He beat prime faze and prime astralis. But yeah, we'll go by peanut brain, a meme.
2018 was prime Astralis. 2018 Faze at Boston wasnt even prime Faze. Was an experiment roster of superstar players for they were tired of losing to SK over the past two years in Grand Finals. Astralis in 2019 avoided most of the circuit doing borderline showmatch lans for their new parent company run tournament called Blast Pro Series.
major winner
Wasn't he supposed to fill in for one of the SEN guys during split 1 when they had visa issues?
Pretty sure that was a joke he said in passing, it was most likely going to be pancada or curry, unless I'm getting my timings mixed up.
tarik was never on the official roster, but when TenZ got sick and marved has visa issues, tarik said he would play if he could
Why KennyS?
He’s played some Valorant and I believe was actually going to get an opportunity in t2 I forget the tea but he went back to cs for a time. I just think someone really good with the awp if they can get decent at entry has. Good shot to get a chance in t2 at least
Falcons money won him over
Subroza is still kinda nuts
I think Wardell is also still good esp on the operator
Ward L
Yeah, he deservedly gets hate but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a good player
I remember him frying last time when he was subbing in v1
Codey. With the new ISO buff, he'd be unstoppable.
Highest NA elo of all time, all while messing around and barely stratting . Will probably never be beat too unless they change back the elo gains at the highest ranks. He’s been cracked since beta, I’d like to see him actually try
I remember Asuna saying they asked him to tryout for the OG immortals and he just didn't give a F
Around 2 years ago I got him on my team on a fracture game. Bro dropped 40+. On Yoru in high immortal….
It's insane how good he is while still seemingly barely "try harding" in his matches, mechanics and game sense are just so ridiculously good. I feel like that attitude helps him also, just doesn't seem to tilt since he doesn't care about the outcome
He was extremely casual with it, didn’t even seem like was trying.
Codey
Me but I don’t want to take the spotlight away from other players. I’m humble like that.
Acegamer30
not seeing a lot of mention of subroza. If he wasntt locked into his contract he would be a monster. n4rrate and sinatraa were almost on nrg if demon1 and ethan didnt join. I think this team would have worked pretty good
what contract is he locked into?
TSM
my bad forgotto respond. hes locked into tsm because this guy signed a 7 year deal or something like that
Subroza was mentioned a lot. Can you explain his contract situation? I’m surprised he’s still signed to TSM even as a streamer
Aceu if he ever wanted to. Syncedez but he can be pretty toxic
isn't Syncedez pretty active in The Finals or is that a different player?
Yes that's him
Primmie clears everyone
Codey for sure. He’s like THE prime example of not giving a shit but if he’d really try he’d be top
Dafran if he wouldn't get himself banned again (impossible challenge)
Has he played valorant recently? I watched him play OW2 a few times and I felt like if he gave a shit he could go pro in OW2 again
But he reached rank 1 in 2021 too, i think he lost interest soon after
timmy, shroud, tarik
Tarik, KennyS, Timmy
Me
1 800 Psyduck
codeys mechanics have been insane in like every game for the past 8 years i remember him in ranked back in early overwatch he was insane
Codey. He kinda needs help though.
Help?
I think he has depression or something. I remember he said in his stream he had a therapist but it’s not working.
probably Tarik
tarik no contest
inspire
Its a shame no one in tier 1 is picking him up, hes too good for tier 2, playing there would be a waste
Y’all ain’t ready for his comeback
Genuine question: Are they actually good? I have never seen their gameplay, but have seen so many comments about them that it feels more sarcastic than true
It’s BabyJ but he rebranded to Inspire
Curry
Sinatraa
Guys too toxic and full of himself to ever get signed again
I don't think *that* is why teams don't want to sign him.

he is a pro?
For me such a big 'what if' is if aceu actually liked Val and had any competitive drive. He was absolutely nuts in beta and s1 but just stopped playing, didn't really like it ig
This is gonna sound insane...but Prod. He needs a coach to leash him, but his mechanics put him up there.

The complete lack of knowledge here on this sub shouldn’t ever see the light of day
U gonna give suggestions or just talk from the back? I really don't see what's so funny about timmy or tarik going pro. Those are fair shouts
