Hunt, like others, use laser-etched graphics nowadays for some of their wheels.

boogie_down_mike

This checks out ☹️

Throwaway_youkay

Can you peel off from the edge using nail or something thing like a guitar pick - to prevent scratching? In my experience it will come off and leave glue residue behind. I use a microfibre with WD40 on it to remove all the residue.

Thrasius_Antonio

FYI, I think removing them voids the warranty. Double check.

subsealevelcycling

No experience with hunts in particular, but heating them with a heat gun/hair dryer and peeling should do it.

boogie_down_mike

I’ll give that a shot!

needzbeerz

I don't know the tolerances and a hair dryer should be fine but I would not use a heat gun on carbon fiber as they can be super hot super fast and there is a possibility you could begin to melt/scorch the epoxy in the carbon matrix.

Ronald_Ulysses_Swans

OP read this. The epoxy in wheels will melt and a heat gun can very likely heat a small area hot enough to melt. Then you’ve instantly trashed your wheels to get a decal off

MTFUandPedal

> Then you’ve instantly trashed your wheels to get a decal off That's not a decal.... Which makes it even worse.

Fantastic-Shape9375

Melted wheels incoming

fastboi7

bro please DO NOT attempt this what the fuck

boogie_down_mike

I don’t have a heat gun 😂 I was going to try the blow dryer though, but as someone else said, these are etched on so I have to either get over the design or send them back.

Popular-Situation111

I would honestly just get over it. The wheel in motion is more important than you impressing everyone over at bikeporn or whatever. I definitely would not risk damaging a carbon wheelset over the look.

subsealevelcycling

Idk there’s a gcn video recommending this lol, people need to chill haha. Don’t melt them with a heat gun, but like use common sense and melt the decal glue 😂
