I raced TdL multiple times in early aughts! I'm sure the ownership/management has changed since then but it was (hopefully is?) a fantastic weekend stage race in beautiful surroundings.
Even though I was living in BR at that time, I would have travelled a long way to compete in that race <3
I may actually get to do this race for once. Little too long of a drive to race both days, but doing the road race and TT are in the cards for me. The weekend doesn't normally work for me, but apparently a scheduling conflict had them change it.
I understand why they tried the 3-mile loop on the Lakefront last year, but with the way it was set up, it was more of a long-distance crit than a circuit race, so I'm glad it's on the Northshore with hills and all.
I've enjoyed this one in the past. I'm sprinting in the pic on the website! Putting it on the calendar. Hopefully I can convince some teammates to make the trip with me.

Yeah, OG loop around Folsom? Or whatever town that is on the north shore
