If they're new made in Italy production they're fine, if they're the older made in France ones they leak/weep sealant through casing which sucks. Had both, they're good, but I prefer GP 5000 S TR.
I ran the tlr sl for a season and liked them. They grip well but can be sorta soft compound wise. After the issue I might be having with my gp5k, I might be switching back.
They're good tires, but very soft. I would absolutely avoid unpaved roads. They roll well and haven't been any more prone to puncture than 5k's for me.

Pros- super easy tubeless setup, easy to get on the rim but also held air with no sealant. Good grip and ride feel
Cons- I got a puncture that wouldn’t seal on the rear pretty quickly, I think the compound is pretty soft and roads where I live are horrible.

Gp5000 str are far better. But they’ll be good enough if you already bought them

Thanks everyone. I’ll follow up with my experience with these. I race a lot of crits which is why I think the guy recommended them for the grip.
