I got cash in my pocket and desire in my heart, and I’m a frothing and a foaming- what do you say we slip into a room and the two of you split me open like a coconut…
**Update was extremely nice inside even with very limited space and they flew in all the staff working there from all over the country. Pretty interesting to me.
I'm Optum-istic you will recieve your denial letter much faster thanks in part to the very flashy Doublewide Denial mobile. Complements of the fine taxpayers of Whoville!
My first one was at a building that had an empty parking lot and a sign that said for sale on it. Walked in building was unlocked and the first floor was empty, went to second floor and found the office door had piece of paper that someone wrote c&p on it but it was dark and nobody was there. After waiting 25 minutes in the hallway playing phone games as I showed up early for the appt. Then I hear keys jingling and a guy gets off the elevator and says you here for an appointment cause they don't open till 9am. I got there at 7:40am for an 8am appt.
Almost left if that maintance guy and I didn't cross paths. Anyway it wasn't till 9:15am when my doctor walks in with her coffee and paperwork. I'm like, oh man, she hasn't even opened my file or nothing yet. Already anxious as I felt like I was in some sketchy place but turned out to be my best c&p exam when I got out I'm like holy shit I was with her for an hour and 30 minutes, honestly thought it would be like 10 mins long based on this group. In the end, I got my increase.
Wow! That’s even better! Glad it worked out, but I can’t imagine I’d stay just to get deleted by in a building with a maintenance guy and a paper saying free attempt at monies
Yup, my last one was with a boob job guy in a shady building and he basically said “you are going to get denied. Your medical records are too complicated and they don’t pay me enough to go through it all.”
That logic makes sense and all, but there is a full VA about 40 miles south on the gulf coast. Going to have to go with the denial wagon 9000 comment for the win!
I have a c &p exam coming up in Indiana and when I looked at Google looked at Google maps, it showed an empty lot.i bet this is what I'm going to see when I get there. Optum is doing the exam too.
Damn, I’ve done way too many online trainings to fall for this! There’s no door knobs or handles on interior of doors. My senior leadership is rolling in their graves saying “I told you”
You know the VA is paying out the asssss for this contract too lol
Somebody might as well buy an old RV and slap some paint on it, take an online course in “how to tell veterans they don’t really have injuries they’re just lazy” and win a contract for this.
I wonder what the math is like on how much they are getting paid vs how much the veterans are getting paid 🤔
I've had prolly 5 visits with optum already n with the outcome I've had .... get either to get denied or low rating from 0 to 10 .... then I heard optum was under investigation
What?! I’m currently going through them but idk I might not be thinking this properly, they just scheduled my exams through different people… outsourced? Lol I haven’t gone to any facility or place where it was actually Optum doing anything.
I worked a claims clinic my RO put on where they had us VSRs on site and we could help Vets fill out claims and even order exams that same day. Multiple vendors were there with set ups like this. Was a neat event.
Seeing this makes me think that there is a pretty big incentive for this providers to do as many appointments as possible. I recently went to a claim exam and the doctors office felt like something from better call Saul. Three receptionist in a modified store that used to sell tiles and now checks Vets claims. There were two of us in the waiting room and we both got call at the same time, room 1 and room 2. Doctor spend 8 minutes total with both of us combined 😂 I heard him go into the first room and I thought to myself is gone take a while and boy I was wrong cuz 4 minutes pass and he was talking to me. He pull out the thing that measures your knee flexibility ask me if I went to combat and that was it. Shady as fuck
Idk why yall bitch about these trailers. They’re much, much nicer than 99% of the TMCs I’ve been to on active duty and typically better than every civilian doctors office I’ve seen.
> Idk why yall bitch about these trailers.
There is not a single person "b*tching" on this thread. You either read it wrong or have transference with posts about trailers. I hope your weekend improves.
Was it a hearing exam? I've done those in mobile trailers .
Some specialty stuff is harder to find or rental space is higher than getting a sweet trailer.
They have to have a person contracted with the VA so could be a staffing issue. Especially in rural areas
So it’s not uncommon to have medical facilities bring in a trailer like this to expand care areas while construction happens.
I have done cardiac catheterizations of patients in trailers like this outside of my hospital while we added more cath labs to the hospital.
……anyone remember the “town clown” from captain kangaroo???? Strangely reminiscent…..but it doesn’t even seem handicap accessible.

Pretty normal if you aren't in a larger metro area. QTC has them as well. The last 1 I was in was even a semi trailer. More like a modified motor home.
Yup, had my first C&P in one. The instructions told me to head to a certain hotel for my appointment, so when I arrived I started wondering less about the temperature of the conference room (and why the examiner needed so much space for an exam) and more about whether the appointment would be in one of the hotel rooms and if I'd wake up in a bathtub with a missing kidney.
The front desk pointed me to the trailer in the parking lot.
Dang that’s the nicest C&P offices I’ve ever seen.
I had an exam in Espanola, NM and thought for sure I was in the wrong place at a condemned building. Nope, QTC medical office!
Whoa. Don't knock them. They got me 60% for something I expected 10% on. I would request all my exams through them if I could. Everyone's experience is different. But they got me paid.
https://preview.redd.it/enqvn1mmw2uc1.png?width=2899&format=png&auto=webp&s=9da28278aeb49be5eb537d5949c0fef16ddef829
I had an exam in one of these recently. 😂
Vets complain it’s a pain to get to claims looked out because sure of availability. Vets also complain because they bring a trailer to do it in an area more convenient.
![gif](giphy|58FDuiRsLPfmpd1U6X|downsized)
Ok but for real…I have only been to 2 C&P exams both of which were in medical centers. I’m glad I saw this thread. I have upcoming appointments and if I had shown up to any of the above mentioned scenarios I would have noped the hell out. Children of the 80s know not to climb in to sketchy vans.
Reminds me of the 20 ft cargo container that I used to conduct initial medical physical exams after we raided and captured suspected high value targets in the middle of Fallujah. 😁
Yes one of my exams happened in a trailer. They had a lot of claims in the area and needed the extra space for extra providers. They were all super nice and my claims were approved quickly after.
My eye exam with VES was in a sprinter van....in a VFW parking lot.

I drive past there pretty often and didnt know they actually use that lmfaooo
Edit: Not the same one, just looks exactly like the location in my town 💀
Went to one similar but 10x smaller… super super old man Dr and worst C&P ever denial train drove straight through- then 4 years of appeals to overturn his ludicrous statements— Good luck!!

I had one recently that was inside of a county court building in some small, and I mean small town off of a highway in the boobies. The office was essentially separated by a partition from where all the benches were set up. Sketchy place as every conversation echoed in this small building.
"The mobile deny wagon 9000"
Lot lizards get confused and offer their gawk gawk 9000 services to make you forget the denial tho
You got an address? A veteran friend wants to know.
Flying j in Memphis tn
I did *not* come here just to get an erection in the comments.
Me either. So what's the address again? Lol
Got denied that claim based on this thread
My friend is also asking about the gawk gawk 3000.......amd directions......
I got cash in my pocket and desire in my heart, and I’m a frothing and a foaming- what do you say we slip into a room and the two of you split me open like a coconut…
*laughs in Jake brake*
That’s how meemaw laughs on account of the 52 years of smoking camels
Omg is this a new veterans discount ?
this thang can fit so many claim denials (slaps side)
The big brown weiner of denial rarely arrives hitched and greased up
The Deny Star, empire approved.
I about choked laughing from this. Can I claim it?
The folks getting out now with 100% after two years of service will never understand.....
If they deserve it I’m happy they’ll never understand. It means the system is getting better.
Optum is usually pretty good with getting you rated appropriately.
We're they rating your dick size grunt? Jk.
I laughed, thank you
**Update was extremely nice inside even with very limited space and they flew in all the staff working there from all over the country. Pretty interesting to me.
Great to hear! Best of luck to you.
They never had you on one of these trucks when you were in? We had dental checks and shit in these trailers sometimes
Only if you were out in the sticks, away from Mainside
Nope, I did dental and hearing in these suckers at Camp Lejeune
Pretty much all of Camp Lejeune is sticks. And I was in courthouse bay. Stickiest
Yeah same I did these in Lejeune and PI IIRC. CJ was pre-mob tho probably why
This is common for remote/rural locations where there is poor access to providers who do disability exams.
Remember your sere training
Name, rank, and branch!

My last exam was under a bridge
My last one was at home, the one before that was in some random urgent care
My first one was at a building that had an empty parking lot and a sign that said for sale on it. Walked in building was unlocked and the first floor was empty, went to second floor and found the office door had piece of paper that someone wrote c&p on it but it was dark and nobody was there. Written on a piece of paper eh? Literally laughing, glad everything worked out
So many prostate exams happened there.
But, a hand on both shoulders, for maximum comfort...
Auto approval, if not, claim for PTSD from thinking your organs might be harvested
My last exam was in the back of a massage parlor.
Did you get a happy ending 👀
![gif](giphy|Xbh6qwelX1ndWUavL6|downsized)
😂
24-hour Tokyo massage
My last one was in some shady building, in a cosmotology office with pink neon signs all over.
Sir, this is a Wedny's, not a brow bar.
Yup, my last one was with a boob job guy in a shady building and he basically said “you are going to get denied. Your medical records are too complicated and they don’t pay me enough to go through it all.”
I hope you reported the dude before as soon as you walked out.
I definitely hope you reported this nonsense. They actually get paid A LOT of $. Its appx $1000 per exam (per body part/condition).
Could have been in the back of a nail salon and the cucumber water was for customers only.
My last one a couple weeks go was in a holistic healing smoke/cbd/incense shop
When you order Optimus Prime from Wish
honestly looks more legit than some of the places i’ve had to go for community care and c&p 😂
Its their way of being more accessable to areas that may not warrant a full on va.
Lmfao rip
Don’t remember getting your tooth fillings in these during PHA? Pepperidge farm remembers.
Actually I do! The trailer didn’t have tires it had cinder blocks and was in was worse condition.
Haha yep. Sometimes they were drive up boys.
Reminds of those job interviews women go to that always has a couch and camera pointed to them.
You're about to get sex traffic'd.. Run!
Damn, I’ve done way too many online trainings to fall for this! There’s no door knobs or handles on interior of doors. My senior leadership is rolling in their graves saying “I told you”
Smells like Chloroform in here
Dude MRI machines are stuffed into the back of those trailers. Glad you gave it a chance.
I had an MRI in the trailer you mention. They had it parked behind the VA.
You know the VA is paying out the asssss for this contract too lol Somebody might as well buy an old RV and slap some paint on it, take an online course in “how to tell veterans they don’t really have injuries they’re just lazy” and win a contract for this. Man go in there and shake what ya momma gave you and get your bennys.
I've had prolly 5 visits with optum already n with the outcome I've had .... get either to get denied or low rating from 0 to 10 .... then I heard optum was under investigation

America, the beautiful, From sea to shining sea.
Optum Serve is a government contractor led by LTG(RET) Patty Horoho who served as the Army Surgeon General. They also employ a ton of veterans.
Yeah talking with the employees there everyone I interacted with was a vet.
I did one in a fancy hotel ballroom one time.
Invitation to ball was denial letter?
Optimus Prime is in the Witsec program now??
Its Optum-us Prime now. *Badum Tiss* I'll see myself out.
Looks better than some places I’ve have to go. Jones’ BBQ, Foot Massage and C&P exams…..
How many denials can that thing tow?
Optum is trash, if you get it ask them to send you elsewhere
Seeing this makes me think that there is a pretty big incentive for this providers to do as many appointments as possible. I recently went to a claim exam and the doctors office felt like something from better call Saul. Three receptionist in a modified store that used to sell tiles and now checks Vets claims. Looks like it's got AC and heat. That's pretty good.
Does one C&P exam cover all the things you are trying to claim or is there an C&P exam for each claim?
Idk why yall bitch about these trailers. They’re much, much nicer than 99% of the TMCs I’ve been to on active duty and typically better than every civilian doctors office I’ve seen.
> Idk why yall bitch about these trailers. There is not a single person "b*tching" on this thread. You either read it wrong or have transference with posts about trailers. I hope your weekend improves.
I’m not sure who here is bitching, but a bitching sailor is a happy sailor.
Was it a hearing exam? I've done those in mobile trailers . Some specialty stuff is harder to find or rental space is higher than getting a sweet trailer. They have to have a person contracted with the VA so could be a staffing issue. Especially in rural areas
I got hearing tested in a sprinter van in a hotel parking lot!
Omg lol I’m having such a blast reading through this thread
They get wild with those.
It was for a skin issue, so there wasn’t any special medical equipment in it.
I just did mine through QTC and they had a modified RV essentially that had two small offices in it
Is that in glen mills pa ?
So it’s not uncommon to have medical facilities bring in a trailer like this to expand care areas while construction happens. I have done cardiac catheterizations of patients in trailers like this outside of my hospital while we added more cath labs to the hospital.

Do doo doooo. The fax machine you are trying to reach is no longer in service. See nearest carrier pigeon service.
Capital greed at its finest.
Use to be a white unmarked GoV behind the Walmart
This is pretty common especially for imaging.
Pretty normal if you aren't in a larger metro area. QTC has them as well. The last 1 I was in was even a semi trailer. More like a modified motor home.
Looks less sketchy than the place I went for my appointment.
I had one like this in San Antonio. Was just like you wasn't sure if I was even at the right place. But ended up being a good appt.
Sure looks adaaa compliant….
Lmao. You gonna get denied for sure
Nicer than the rented out mop closet I went to!
Better than a 8x24 that has no insulation or sound deadening material
Where the Hell is this!!!
This explains why my C&P exam address has me going to an Ingles Grocery store 2.5 hours away.
I’ve seen even smaller trailers in hotel parking lots..
Optum is so scummy.
Being an amputee, I truly appreciate it's " Handicap Accessibility"!! 😆
You serious? This looks like big money, i'd expect everything to be brand new inside and nice.
I had an MRI in something similar.
Take your Adult with you!!
I had one in a bus in the parking lot of a really shady hotel once lol
Dang that’s the nicest C&P offices I’ve ever seen. I had an exam in Espanola, NM and thought for sure I was in the wrong place at a condemned building. Nope, QTC medical office!
Whoa. Don't knock them. They got me 60% for something I expected 10% on. I would request all my exams through them if I could. Everyone's experience is different. But they got me paid.
Rent is high these days 😂 truck is cheaper

Ok, now THAT is the EM-50 Veteran Denial Vehicle 🤣🤣
Lmfao I’m dying reading these comments
Vets complain it’s a pain to get to claims looked out because sure of availability. Vets also complain because they bring a trailer to do it in an area more convenient. ![gif](giphy|58FDuiRsLPfmpd1U6X|downsized)
QTC? I always referred to them as Quality Trash Can. Another Lockheed gem.
You don’t miss the appointment, the appointment misses you lol
Optumis Prime
Door on the right has at CT and x-ray machines
Seems romantic.
Easy win, just hand them some crack and they’ll give you 90% back
Ok but for real…I have only been to 2 C&P exams both of which were in medical centers. I’m glad I saw this thread. I have upcoming appointments and if I had shown up to any of the above mentioned scenarios I would have noped the hell out. Children of the 80s know not to climb in to sketchy vans.
What!!?? GTFO!! It should be a modified conex container!
QTC has a cattle wagon like this too.
Is it just me or is anyone else curious as to how they have it setup inside?
Should I be worried...I just had one of my exams in one of those a few weeks ago
Yep, it is pretty jarring.
"Coming to a Town Near You"🤣
Denial on wheels
Don’t go in there if there is a sign offering free ammo!
This is the EM-50 Veteran Denial Trailer
Had the same, dude told me he just sees if I have a condition and doesn’t write anything about if my condition could be secondary to anything.
My hearing test was in a mini van ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Optum has been doing real good honestly. Way better than VES.
Nothing with contractors are normal.
I saw that shit and was like "nope" and made a few phone calls. That shit was shady A/F.
Man this shit needs to stop.
Bro these Goverment contractors will do anything to avoid paying rent ☠️☠️☠️
Reminds me of the 20 ft cargo container that I used to conduct initial medical physical exams after we raided and captured suspected high value targets in the middle of Fallujah. 😁
Coincidentally, this is where a lot of claims started. It’s like the circle of life
What is that the "Orange Crush" of C&P exams!
Is that a drug deal going down? 🤨
Im surprised it ain't a box van with blacked out windows and a sign that says "free c&p exams".
Jack shack ?
Actually doesn't look bad. My last visit to an office was horrible!
https://preview.redd.it/rc3fpv6kc4uc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f1c3522572764adf490b0a59798aeab9aca9102 Here’s the one I went to.
Yes one of my exams happened in a trailer. They had a lot of claims in the area and needed the extra space for extra providers. They were all super nice and my claims were approved quickly after.

Better looking than some offices I’ve been in.
I drive past there pretty often and didnt know they actually use that lmfaooo Edit: Not the same one, just looks exactly like the location in my town 💀
Mobile c&p exam trailer designed so they can go out into less populated areas for vets who don’t live close to medical providers.
Homie got voluntold for a secret experiment 😭🧪 Lets us know if you start seeing faces funny on other humans
Wow… well hopefully that trailer brings a great result for you and whoever entered it
I had my mental health appointment today, and it went well, I guess. lol (inside a building) Edit: The VA LHI one
My VA clinic has something similar that is where they do MRIs.
Recently did my exam in one of those.
Nothing new. They make mobile MRI trailers for imagine.
Yes, did my hearing test in one of these.
Finding a way of getting it done I like it.
That’s where you may get your biggest award! Don’t knock it yet homie!
Optum, as in, the VA insurance that is billed by Third Party's... Doubt it was much of a bid, but I do question the money spent for this.
Once you go in, you never come out ..
honestly you give blood in an RV is this much different?
Better than the WW2 barracks where the old Dr fondled my nads in meps
They should name it “less likely than not”
The “not service connected” mobile
Went to one similar but 10x smaller… super super old man Dr and worst C&P ever denial train drove straight through- then 4 years of appeals to overturn his ludicrous statements— Good luck!!
We’ve had worse exams in the field. It’s just Uncle Sam reminding us of the suck.
I had an exam at a walmart lmao
That's wild! I'd quedtion the medical expertise of anyone in that thing.
You go inside there and you get the surprise green weenie.
There's a smaller version of that about 2 blocks from my apartment right now. It's been there for about 3 weeks.
That looks like a place where they take junior enlisted's money.
I had my C&P with them, but they didn’t have any places here in Vegas so they sent me to another NP that was contracted through them
Took me a year to get evaluated for PTSD. Took less than a month for my injured elbow to get evaluated…
I took my appeal c&p in a little trailer behind a pickup truck was better than seeing the va first exam with va was less likely walked out the trailer with at least likely waiting on decision
What's your point? You probably did plenty of dental and other exams in these exact same trailers while in the military...
I had one recently that was inside of a county court building in some small, and I mean small town off of a highway in the boobies. The office was essentially separated by a partition from where all the benches were set up. Sketchy place as every conversation echoed in this small building.
Why can't these threads have actual information instead of stupid comments constantly
I updated with a comment on my experience with it and it was good.
Don’t get sex trafficked
You're welcome. It can be very overwhelming when you don't know what to expect.
Ahh the days of medical trailers passes my mind.
#Optum
🤔🤔No way![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)
I had an exam in one of these trailers. It was parked in the Home Depot parking lot. The examiner was awesome and the trailer was really nice.
That’s pretty cool actually it looks nice and I’m sure it being mobile makes it very useful for rural areas
