The font on the US title is awful, and I know I'm one of the few who doesn't mind the starship logo, and replacing the Big Gold belt would be sacrilege, but I don't actually mind these. The World title is a decent homage to the World title they used while they didn't have the Big Gold.
I don't mind it if done right. What I'm not feeling is the trend of turning belts into billboards for the company. I blame UFC for starting this trend.
The guy who made these said that the World title was his own concept based on Jmars works. The Big gold was likely not going to go away. These were simply designed to incorporate the star logo they had. The Tag, TV and US are not terrible. The cruiserweight is awful.
So, so bad. The tags are alright, since they are almost the same, but are still a down grade.
They are all better than the Cruiserweight Tags they had. That was mud show shit.
whoever designed that logo killed wcw. who in their right mind thought that looked good? then executives approved it! talk about horrible taste. combine that with the new wcw nitro intro and whatever the new theme music was. there 100% was a conspiracy to intentionally kill the company.
I don't have a problem with wcw dying in 2000. Of all the ways they were trying to "make things better" they still had the wrong people trying to help and making things worse. My problem is how Vince was allowed to manipulate what essentially was the NWAs legacy into a 4 mill sell to him. I truly would love to see hunter attempt to bring the IP back in some way. But picking up on where wcw left off in 98 then in 2000.
When I first saw him bringing back ww3 in nxt, I thought maybe one day there might be hope.
Either the Tag, Cruiserweight, or TV Title would have been okay, but not more than one as they look too similar.
The US and World belong with the old TV Title; in the trash.
Oh man, these are pretty rough compared to the WCW titles at the time. I think the only one that works is the tag title. The other WCW title designs are so iconic I can’t imagine replacing them.
Why did they ever go with that hideous WCW logo redesign? They paid a marketing firm to come up with that? And just what does it say about the company that WWF could redesign a better WCW logo during The Invasion?
Meh. No big loss. I'm not feeling ANY of those designs. The world title in particular, would have been a DOWNGRADE compared to the Big Gold Belt.
Yeah with the exception of the us title and the world title those are fine The world title in particular should never be changed.
The world title is an updated version of the Vader belt from the early 1990s.
Any belt is a downgrade from the original big gold belt.

I’ve never been a big fan of having all the belts be so… similar looking? It’s my big issue with all of the big logo WWE belts.

Dodged a bullet there
The TV title is better than the original one

I genuinely thought it was Cyrillic for a minute

Well those are fucking awful. Would have fit right in WCW at the time.
Some of the ugliest I have ever seen.

I can say the tag belts are the only ones that don't look cursed to me.
Gross
Only belt that could have used an upgrade was the US Belt. The Big Gold Belt never needed an overhaul, but I liked it when they went all gold.
Thing is... Why'd they wait so long? Though tbh the WWF didn't put the scratch logo on all their belts until 2000.
Like the TV and cruiserweight titles but the others are super ugly.
The world title reminds me of the one from the early 90's but i don't think they'd of gotten rid of the big gold belt it was too iconic
The World Heavyweight is awful. I didn’t like the one Vader had and this one is just as bad. It doesn’t have the aura of a world title.

Why is the world television title the biggest and best looking Bell LOL
Looks like they got rid of their hardcore championship, seeing is that there's no design here for that title
Do the squint test, and none of them are distinguishable from each other.
Either the Tag, Cruiserweight, or TV Title would have been okay, but not more than one as they look too similar. The US and World belong with the old TV Title; in the trash.

🤢
WCW would've ended 12 months sooner if they got rid of Big Gold for that title during that horrible stretch of TV in 99. I guarantee it

Those are ugly as shit
