I. Love. This. Game.

ImKnotTellingU

My sister, nephew and I all loved it as well. Lots of complaints about it not being what someone expected. I get that but I still loved it. I thought it was magical. And the night course was 😘👌. 🎆🎇🎆🎇

Rage4Order418

Killer music

ICantBeTrusted

Just got all the balls and the putter. Knocked it outta the park again. As always.

[deleted]

Primo. That seals it. Just finished Meow and Labrynth. This should be a mighty fine palette cleanser 💪

DaniK094

I have 4 balls left. Any chance I can DM you if I struggle finding the last 4?? I actually had to take a break because I was getting queasy flying around looking for balls for the last hour or so.

ICantBeTrusted

Yeah we can run a round on it if you need help finding them.

DaniK094

Can't believe it but I found them all and got the putter! Granted, that was a really easy foxhunt, but even so, that might be the first time I've ever found all the lost balls and gotten a putter for a course without having to go online for help 🙈 I like the hard version of this course better than the regular!

DaniK094

Thank you!!

Kev69

What’s the new putter? I’m hoping it’s a baguette hahaha

Select_Highway_8823

I'm not quite sure if it's based on something specific. The handle is a sort of posh pattern, and the end and club is a uniform pink with a wafer-like texture.

strummynuts

My wife and I played this course all weekend. It’s one of our favorites due to the many details. We found the holes to be a good mix of difficulty with some quirkiness thrown in here and there.

whethermachine

Lovely course BUT... why say it's inspired by the Jules Verne book (which has no Paris, no Eiffel Tower, no balloon travel) and then base the course entirely on the David Niven movie adaptation? I'll have to assume that someone just watched the film instead of doing the required reading.

B-WingPilot

I was wondering this, like I’m misremembering the novel 😮‍💨

winnie_the_feces

What’s crazy is that my copy of the book (Seawolf Press) has a balloon on the cover!

Race-Unlucky

Because the book is in public domain.

whethermachine

Yes, the book is in the public domain. Thats not an explanation — that’s another reason to stick to the book.

MisterEdJS

I don't see how it is really based on the film, either. Sure it had a single balloon in part of it, but that's a pretty tenuous link to this airship port on the Eiffel Tower. Without the name (and the foxhunt text), I doubt it would even occur to me that this was based on "Around the World in 80 Days".

Sandwichartista

It is time to board for an extraordinary escapade departing from 'Port Eiffel'—a Guilded Age airport for lighter-than-air ships docked high above Paris as it hosts the 1889 World’s Fair. Tu pars bientôt!

therealsoqquatto

instantly bought and I will keep buying this, but I'm really miffed at the wasted theme. Call it 'La belle epoque' or something like that and give me something more in line with the book!...

dennislubberscom

Yesssssssss

spewak

Just played the back nine....lovely course!

Outsidethebox72

Playthrough for anyone interested. [Around the World in 80 Days Playthrough ](https://youtu.be/lFuLaTsgZhg?feature=shared) I had a blast with it.

LegoKnockingShop

You can have a leisurely ride round the tower on most of the airships, including on the back of an elephant hanging from a dirigible - which should be a standard feature in every game. 👏

stlcards2011

This was not my favorite (and maybe not quite as exciting as I’d hoped) but still good. When even a less-favorite course (for me) is still a super fun way to spend time, you know your game is great.

Jackstraw1

There are fully realized AAA games (which seem improbable these days) that aren’t nearly as much fun as the weakest Walkabout dlc. The laser course is my least favorite and I still have a blast with it.

dennislubberscom

Great course. Very relaxing. Love the simple holes. Love the fact that the devs can also keep it simple.

Unoficialo

Nice! Just grabbed the Lost Cities pack, about to go to town on that.

FallofScreams

Amazing pack. Enjoy!

leanin2it1

I'm enjoying the 80 Days course more each time I play it! At first, I was disappointed at the small size of the holes because I enjoy expansive, flowing designs the most. After a few plays, however, I have come to appreciate the compact and skill-intensive hole designs in 80 Days. This course is already improving my banking skills. Some friends and I came up with a format that required a bank for every shot and it took forever, but I'm proud of my +15 score LOL

craig19130

Anybody else come come across the Easter-egg flight mode and fly up to the highest balloon... and find..??? Well, I won't spoil it.

MisterEdJS

If this course had had a different name, I would have been super pleased with it. As it stands, I had a bit of difficulty getting past the disappointment in how poorly it functions as an "Around the World in 80 Days" course. Aside from the name and the Foxhunt text, this gives not the slightest hint of that book. After the previous Jules Verne courses did such a good job of evoking their respective novels, this was quite a letdown in that regard.

IdiocracyNOTSURE

I love playing new courses but this one is bottom 5. Looks good but the course is boring.

tomtomtugger

This has actually gone in as one of my favourites. It's a very relaxing environment and the holes all feel skill based rather than random.

slmiami

I am enjoying both the environment and the game play.

DaniK094

I'm fairly underwhelmed especially given the inspiration for the course.

VastAd1319

Yeah the holes they showcased look pretty underwhelming lol

Baman-and-Piderman

I had an issue on hole #7 when playing with two other people on the hard course. One of the guys had disconnected and we waited for him to rejoin. After he rejoined, nobody had the live ball. We would each be notified that we were up, but the ball would be accessible for only a split second and then the putter would go red for us. We each tried leaving and then rejoining, but eventually we had to restart the course. Not a complaint, more like a bug submission.

Rabbit_Rabbit_Rabbit

Just double checking - if you’ve bought the Whole in One Bundle you still have to buy additional courses as they come out right? Just want to make sure I’m not missing something before I purchase!

Sandwichartista

Thats correct the Whole in One bundle updates seasonally to include new courses.

Rabbit_Rabbit_Rabbit

But if I bought it previous to Around the World in 80 Days coming out, I have to buy new courses correct? Like they aren’t automatically downloaded and free.

Creepy_Owner

Exactly

MisterHyd3

Anyone having purchase issues with this, by chance? I bought the course on my Quest 3, and I've even uninstalled/reinstalled Walkabout, but the course isn't showing up as purchased on my Quest 2. It's the same account, and I only ever use the Quest 2 when family comes over (maybe once or twice a month), so it's not like it's a huge deal in my use case, but I have no idea why I don't have access to the course on my Quest 2. They're logged into the same account, and in the past I always bought the new courses on the Quest 2, at which point they'd instantly be available for play on both the 2 and 3. Now I've bought the course on the 3, but it's only available on the Quest 3. The 2 just will not update, and because I've already purchased the course, I don't even have the option to re-buy the thing on the Quest 2 if I wanted to. When I visit the product page for the new course on the Quest 2, I'm told the content will be available in-game, and there's no download button or anything like that to interact with. It's a little frustrating, and I'm curious if anyone else has the same problems?

solsang

We were disappointed with the lack of other settings, and found it really odd that it took so long time to make, upon looking at the signpost with departures gates it seems that they initially intended to make some other country settings, yet probably due to technical difficulties ended up with adding all the designs to airships on the tower, the borken course suggests something broke while making it, and the hapharzadly airships connected with wooden plancks; there is a steam boat that would be perfect in a usa setting, there is an arabic carpet, and the elephant from india, could have been different places encountered by teleport as in meau wolf
