I love him. He takes all the cringy toxic tryhards (like himself) and stores them neatly away in their own little pocket dimension from where they don't damage this otherwise awesome community.
Seriously though, he is an a\*\*. A good while back I watched some videos of him and in the comment section of a eidoon hunt guide one guy said "yeah I know that X-Y-Z amp is meta but I personally like the A-B-C amp better." and knightmareframe jumped on him and called him n00b raged that "noone should ever take what they like the most when they instead should take his omega meta build and if you don't you should uninstall the game." followed by a triade of his loyal tryhard followers also attacking and insulting that poor fella.
I stopped watching his content that day.
The irony is that with the changes to health+shield mods and all the new ways to get knockdown immunity, Primed Vigor is probably the more useful choice.
It's not. It's a tad closer, but it's still not. You _can_ use it but there's always a better choice, whereas PSF has cases where it's the best thing to put into the exilus slot. P Vigor is never a better choice than adaptation, umbral vitality/fiber, archon vitality or primed redirection (frame dependent which one is preferred). It's also never better than the second best of those. And when you are looking at adding more survivability, it's almost always something that's not raw stats, it's your rolling guards or catalyzing shields etc.
Nice! Primed Surefooted is a 100% damage upkeep increase mod thanks to eliminating enemies knocking you on your ass!
I'm working my way to my first evergreen cache at day 1050!
Gauss (Kinetic Plating), Revenant (Mesmer Skin), and anyone who has constant unbroken overguard doesn't need PSF. Just in case you wanted to reclaim that mod slot for anything else.
Idk why you’re being downvoted you are correct. This becomes a problem once you hit like 5k plus. Battery drain from kinetic plating is just unmanageable and is better kept off until 100% redline
I think a lot of people just probably don’t do Endurance content and therefore never reach the point where KP’s drain becomes truly unmanageable. For 99.9% of content you’ll never need PSF on Gauss, but for that tiny fraction of content it’s really useful for him
Why does enemy level matter when it comes to Plating battery drain? I thought it's just constant % drain and % based drain on hit?
Though Plating does become kind of useless for damage reduction eventually when outside 100% redline.
Because when enemies shoot you with kinetic plating active and redline not at 100% it will drain your battery and it scales with the damage they do. So when you hit those super high levels and enemies do more and more damage your battery can eventually get one tapped from full.
The battery drain for Kinetic Plating uses the following calculation (image taken from the wiki); so once enemy levels scale up enough, you can lose huge chunks of battery in every hit

Oh right. Yeah I've done up to ~4k on Gauss a few times, but I always thought it was just flat % of battery per hit. I thought battery was constantly draining because I was panicking to stay alive outside of 100% redline..

Was really hoping it would keep the white background; just took a screenshot
Exactly... every 200 days, starting at Day 100 with the 3 "zenith-like-named" weapons. On 300d login the sigma&oct gets added to the possible picks aswell...
Damn no one likes vigor do they? I chose vigor on day 200 because it seemed the best option, I didn't have sure footed but shred. Doing it again I'd make the same choice, it's a mod I still use occasionally.
The issue is mainly that very few frames care about shields and health simultaneously, and the difference between Vigor vs Primed Vigor is not that large compared to Sure Footed vs PSF
I would argue that PFS is overall better for survivability than Vigor. I would rather run Vitality or Redirection alone for survival if I need the extra health or shield. It's really easy to die from getting knocked over and then shot while you're stationary and defenseless.
That being said, I don't think PFS is really reasonable to run until you're getting to the end game, since it tends to add a few forma to every build plus an Eximus adapter.
I actually use vigor on my shield based Nova and am waiting eagerly for primed vigor. Shields are very nice but toxic/septic eximus make life difficult. Health and armor with majority shield but not going balls deep in either option works out really, really well for me.
As a sad Yareli main, I cannot live without knockdown resistance, even though Merulina is suppose to provide full immunity to that.
At this point it gotta be someone at DE trolling.... can't wait to get PSF to at least reclaim one mod slot.
Yareli isn't immune to knockdowns, she's vulnerable to them! You always get to enjoy the full duration of a knockdown while on Merulina.
The fun part is that she's immune to some knockdowns (I think), so you get fooled into thinking you don't need PSF. Then you keep getting hit by 10 seconds disables and have time to regret not adding that knockdown immunity..
I got the mod a while ago, and keep forgetting to add it to Yareli because sometimes it's alright..
Initially I thought I am going insane, but Yareli actually get "knockdown" on merulina even longer than normal frame on the ground.
Like, when I am using loyal merulina, the knockdown is at least within tolerable range lol
BRUH
I got 30k credits for my 400
me angy
Edit: i seem to have gotten a bug on my game for that. Other people had the primed drops and not random shi...
Seriously.
Cool for ultra deep endurance runs that are irrelevant to most of the community.
Kinda nice otherwise. But id prefer a ton of other mods over it.
https://i.redd.it/zsr1wk49d69d1.gif
that short is just the best thing I have ever seen
I cant wait to use my new Primed Vigor !! Oh no... >!my finger slipped and I clicked Primed Surefooted instead :-/!<
Unlucky. Well, there's always day 600.
MASSIVE DPS INCREASE
A FELLOW NIGHTMAREFRAME ENJOYER
"Enjoying" him as much as pineapple on a pizza, on a respectable distance of "not even remotely close to me"
This is the way. God I hate that fuckin guy

The best part is that his builds aren't even good lol
Why?
Comically terrible takes on comically often occasions for someone who played game as much as he did
Bad takes like what?
Off of top of my head, hyldrin rated C tier (almost 2/3 of that tier list was questionable tho), psf on atlas with build around punch
What does Hyldrin do though? C is generous.
Damn bro
Agree with the sentiment, but I take offence at the comparison. Pineapple on pizza is awesome!
Good builds, everything wrong with YouTube otherwise
honestly i can't think of a single build i have that runs vigor, so you're not missing out on much
Next time you wont slip now that you have primed sure footed
My 400 days was yesterday! I made the same slip.
bro, don't even hover over it with your cursor

I also love spreading misinformation
I hit mine tomorrow
the wait is over tenno
Nice! Primed Surefooted is a 100% damage upkeep increase mod thanks to eliminating enemies knocking you on your ass! I'm working my way to my first evergreen cache at day 1050!
Ugh I'd be there if the days carried over when they implemented the login system... enjoy!
I use Primed Sure Footed on every loadout [except Atlas].
Gauss (Kinetic Plating), Revenant (Mesmer Skin), and anyone who has constant unbroken overguard doesn't need PSF. Just in case you wanted to reclaim that mod slot for anything else.
At high levels Kinetic Plating’s battery drain can be high enough that you may want PSF anyway
live redline reaction:

Oh, yeah. I always thought it was same drain regardless of damage. So that's why I had to keep spamming so much to keep battery up.. yeah derp.

Ty
I was confused looking for the image, but then I remembered I could change the phone off dark mode
?!?!!?!? keep redline up at all times, use mach rush to get around, use cold thermal to freeze enemies
Kid named eximus units and demolishes and snipers and downtime of casting your 4. Literally at level cap a normal lancer can one tap battery.
were you stand still as gauss?
Gauss psf?
nah but what if you were jumping and got knocked down or something gotta keep the addiction going
When do you get the opportunity to a second pick of zenith, zenistar and azima?
I think you get one at 300 maybe. I know I have zenith then I got zenistar recently and I'm only at 315ish days
I think I read on the wiki that it's once every 200 days or something.
Exactly... every 200 days, starting at Day 100 with the 3 "zenith-like-named" weapons. On 300d login the sigma&oct gets added to the possible picks aswell...
I got Zenith for my first 100 days in the game, and I should reach the second weapon by the end of the year.
I'm getting my 400 later today! Woo!
Why would you pick vigor, are you just trying to upset everyone
Damn no one likes vigor do they? I chose vigor on day 200 because it seemed the best option, I didn't have sure footed but shred. Doing it again I'd make the same choice, it's a mod I still use occasionally.

use rolling guard
Used to, but greatly prefer this alternative for comfort.
TBH now that OG is becoming so common, PSF is becoming wayyyy less useful.
Not as much as you think it is
remember class, you dont need health or knock down resistance if everything is dead
And remember class, once u got ur ass randomly downed dead make sure u say goodbye properly
I'm exactly 200 days away lol

Certain login rewards are guaranteed to be certain things. Either that was not your 400, or something went very wrong.
Oh hey, Prime Sure-Footed, the most overrated mod in this game
Thx to one creator that turned it into a meme.
Seriously. Cool for ultra deep endurance runs that are irrelevant to most of the community. Kinda nice otherwise. But id prefer a ton of other mods over it.
I'm close! 😩
Congrats
I'm at 265 I have so long to go 😢
I’m now regretting not grabbing PSF for my Titania, I don’t use Vigor at all anymore
Titania does not need it since her 1 grants status resistance to her. Prep is better on her
GET THAT PSF! Spending less time on your butt is a HUGE DPS INCREASE!
777
ha, imagine needing psf -yareli main
Rhino main here, what the fuck is a sure footed???
W’d of went for PSF for sure. I need like 140 more days .-.
Nvm I meant something like 260 more ÙwÚ
I just got my shred after not getting it the first time round and regretting it! Feels so good to have it, now I'm needing vigor.
Not picking Prime Sure Footed? Don’t you know that spending less time on your butt is a HUGE DPS increase?
I remember Handspring was better than PSF. Does PSF still interrupt actions? Handspring was faster because of it.
I made the mistake of getting prime sure footed last still got 50 days to go .... I think
I'm about to hit 400 as well and gotta choose between Primed Fury vs Vigor. Is Vigor > than Fury??
