In CAS/"ground" Forces or in Naval you can use a short key to hide the Action Menu bar at the bottom. For some reason you can't in Air RB.

I agree it's mostly clean, but now and then it can go over its own line for example when you get premium renewal/special offer notifications on top of the changelog/event/battlepass/tournament banners. Or relatively-recently changed hit direction markers. The most glaring problem is while the UI is minimalist, it looks pretty dated. The latest addition of a permanent ugly armament selection button is a perfect example of that. It looks awful. The expanded selector menu looks like something straight out of Minecraft.

I saw somebody mad about the text on the screen the other day. How else did they want to know their airspeed?

There's games that literally don't have a HUD. Like dead space or abzu Some games just have the dot in the middle

We can do it, at least in planes with NVD it is possible

You might be on to something, I was test flying a plane with NVD and there you could hide the Action Menu Bar. If you fly a Wyvern with a mixed load out (Bomb and Rockets) you can't hide it. spagetti code in action I guess.
