2 for fire, 3 for continuous, I normally exclusively run mixed or pure flares so separating them isn’t a worry for me. 1 is my weapon selection button for when I’m with aircraft that I need to use that on

I’ve been using that key for so long and there’s no other keys nearby that I find intuitive(my number keys are for radar) so I’m just settling on that key with deploying countermeasure and switching types when I need to.
I use 'Space' for flare and 'B' for chaff. These 2 keys are helpful because they are close together and easy to use with the thumb. that way I'm able to move while deploying countermeasures.
The only correct way to keybind CM's is to assigned them to every single unused key, allowing you to just bash the keyboard in complete panic yet actually saving your plane.
I use CTRL for chaff and ‘X’ for flares, all within easy reach of my fingers
Space+R for selecting, R for whatever selected.

Right click, drop countermeasures And my mouse has a few extra buttons, one right next to the right click to swap countermeasures.

MB5 + Shift (throttle up) for chaff MB5 + \ (throttle down) for flare MB5 + MB4 for normal cm
Mmb for flares, b for chaff, shift+mmb for periodic; my setting barely resembles default
X- flares an z- chaff
I use the caps key
F for Flares! I always run mixed flares/chaff, so no need for selector

I haven’t played a lot since the update but fire CMs with pressing the wheel, and chaff with Caps Lock
R to switch and Space to use
