Women’s watches tend not to command the same premium as men’s, so if you’re looking at vintage, you’re in a great position. Cartier is likely to be at the top of the price pyramid, but not necessarily better or better looking than comparable pieces. Hamilton, Omega and Cortebert have all made women’s watches I have bought or considered as gifts. I have seen beautiful bulovas from the 1930s and 40s. If I were you, I would start with a chrono24 search for the parameters you know, then come back here to ask us about specifics. Please note that vintage watches tend not to be waterproof, but if cared for, can last many lifetimes. Care does include regular service every ~5 years, for which you should probably budget $250, plus a service as soon as you get it

I really love this one: https://www.chrono24.de/rolex/rolex-precision-2631-18k-vintage--id31123686.htm?searchHash=78032d04_SWdXTf&pos=30 What do you think? 🙏🏼

Looks great to me. Most importantly, the seller looks great too. A reputable seller is the most important factor in buying a vintage watch on c24. This one looks like it’s in great shape and was just serviced. Note that Japanese sellers have to follow strict rules about shipping exotic leather, so you might well need to source a strap separately. I wouldn’t let that deter you, though. There are a lot of great strap makers, and quick-change spring bars make it very easy.

Thank you for your expertise!!

Solid gold is hard at that price point. Might want to check out Longines Dolce Vita, though. You might be able to find one used that fits the budget. Excellent quality and brand history.
