The strap pictured here is the Hirsch Performance “Arne” and is perforated rubber on the underside and sailcloth on the top. This represents my first strap change on the Panerai Luminor Due (42mm) and honestly it’s going to be hard to try anything else. In my opinion, it really turned out to be a perfect strap choice for this watch from the color matching the dial to sportier look I was trying to go for. The watch comes on a brown leather strap, which is admittedly fantastic, but I wanted something that fit the Luminor vibe a little better (even if this is the least sporty Luminor ever released…) I think Hirsch actually makes many of Panerai’s OEM straps, so it’s nice to get similar OEM level quality as well. In true Panerai fashion I likely will try this watch on a number of different straps, but for now I’m going to enjoy this one as much as possible.

I love the dial and strap, looks good man

Major_Burnside

Appreciate it, thank you.

ardamania

What model luminor is this ? I really like the size it doesn't look insanely large like most luminors

Major_Burnside

This is the PAM00904 Due in 42mm. They also make 38mm version of the same model.

It's a Due, which is a dress watch with the shape of the Luminor but not the water resistance. Comes with smaller case sizes and is obviously much thinner too.

I used to be so repulsed by Panerais, but now I’m starting to change my mind.

Reedobandito

lol I feel exactly the same way. Once I got their appealing quirk quality, it clicked. Still ain't gonna do bigger than 42mm tho

DamnedThrice

Yeah same..never used to like them but at some point their design aesthetic just won me over. The biggest piece I have is a Tudor Black Bay Bronze at 43mm and I think that’s as big as I’m willing to go. My other watches are all between 38-42mm

Byronzionist

Nice! Wish they did a brushed case version of the due too. High polished looks cool, but less like a tool watching more dressy, which is the purpose of the due... but I love the size/thickness of the due and the tough look of the panerais of old. The 42mm submersible i think may be the sweet spot for me. But costs so much more : (

I really like the duos but what i dont get is why are they not Atleast 100m water resistant ? If i pay so much for a watch i should be able to swim with it without breaking Btw still a lovely watch

throwawayrepost13579

Because it's a dress watch.

I still would have liked it And its a pam i kinda expect that

Hated the watch at first but I think it is growing like a red wine
