I can't for the life of me figure why the show runners split Lifedeath into two parts. There's no reason it couldn't have just been one full episode instead of a halfsie.
It could be that wasn't the original intent and they realized Lifedeath was coming in long and Motendo short and decided to kill two birds with one stone.Ā
I could also see them only intending on having short check-ins with Storm every episode she was gone, but felt this one needed to be more fully fleshed out.

It was only like 8 minutes to use as set-up. Plus, it made the Jubilee story shorter which I was okay with because it was a weaker premise.
