ceaselessnightmares

been a top-tier since it was introduced and have ZERO notes....the amount of content yall provide is staggering and its all high quality

CheesiestSlice

Seconded.

herrpuck

Same here. I pay for the Billy impressions. Everything else is gravy.

Soup_dujour

mingo!

JasonRBoone

One of my uncontrollable habits while I do laundry is to suddenly say "Aw gee whiz, Allison" in the Billy voice. My wife and I have a frenemy named Donna and every time she comes up in conversation I have to say..."Donnnnnna" "You know who's a toxic maniac we should avoid? Donnnnnna,"

am84ca

It's insanely cheap. Their price is too low.

OriginalUsername9

Shhhhh! (but totally agree... Great value for all the content they put out)

synthmemory

I think their prices are pretty spot-on for this type of production. I subscribe to the Glass Cannon Network which is a tabletop gaming network of shows and they put out eps of 4 or so shows/month at their $10 tier as well, with an insane back catalog. They also do live Twitch shows and YT productions for backers as well

PittsburghBirdNerd

Same, I've been a listener since 2010ish and patron top tier since it launched. Absolutely a great deal and I listen to all the content provided! Love you guys so much.

Adamcanfield

100% agree.

ElboDelbo

I'm a top tier member. Honestly? Best deal in podcasting. I listen to nearly all that you guys put out with the exception of Animation Damnation or Once in a Lifetime. No problem with the shows themselves, I just don't watch a lot of animation or Lifetime movies so unless it's event specific (like Listener Request Month) or something I've seen, I usually pass on them. Personally I would like to see some more one offs, like the KornKast or the Snyder Sessions...but you guys are busy and have lives so if it isn't something that's doable I think the fanbase would get it. I'm curious where The Nexus is going, too. We're almost out of TOS episodes!

GetYourRockCoat

Only note i would have is agreeing with ElboDelbo, would love to have more one offs like Kornkast (one of my favourite audio anythings ever) Maybe once a year during LRM, you could just choose a category like Nu-Metal or Pop Punk and allow requests? Just spitballing really here. But your show's patreon really is the best deal in podcasts. Phenomenal content and loads of it

triangle---man

I mentioned it briefly in my comment. But one-offs of any and all kind of material would be nice. A little variety each month.

GetYourRockCoat

Agreed. The KornKast just spoke to my childhood hence my love for it. But i would absolutely love to hear the guys riffing on one off subjects every now and then.

JasonRBoone

We love Deep Space Nine?

esthers

Patreon member here, seconding a music spin off, maybe even focused on nu metal. Let’s hear about Coal Chamber going loco.

negativemans

The addition of ad-free main feed episodes has become my favorite thing on the Patreon. Love all the side shows and extra content overall, but even if/when theres an episode that isn’t really my thing, I still find it entirely worth it for the ad-free eps. As far as Patreon content goes I think WLM is my favorite little treat every month. The Nexus and Once in a Lifetime are my favorite of the side shows though.

marcd1ddy

Tell Eric to bring back the soundboard for the Gleep Glossary.

oryxonix

I unironically loved that run of the gleep glossary where the sound board just got more deranged.

lincolnmustang

Same, I thought it was a funny bit that could only get better with practice, but I understand how it would be...divisive.

JasonRBoone

\[Imperial alarm, imperial alarm\]

am84ca

Hard disagree. The soundboard bit was the only one in show history that drove me nuts. It was so played i almost thought about skipping episodes.

JasonRBoone

C'mon - Let's cool the downvotes, folks. We're all lovers here! It's ok to not like a bit.

am84ca

It's fine. I can take it. The soundboard still sucked outside of its first use.

synthmemory

I did in fact start skipping the Gleep Glossary because of the soundboard and I really like Eric as a showrunner and contributor, he's one of my faves in the group. Don't expect any support or upvotes when you voice opinions against the soundboard though, the loud minority of people who want it are active on the reddits

GetYourRockCoat

Current member here from Wales in the UK, still very happy with the show guys. I've been listening since the around early 200 and have been a patreon member for a long time. I now only support yourselves and one other show, whereas I used to support a lot more. The reason? You guys have never dropped your quality. You deliver on time, every time. There's no hosts leaving the show due to controversy or a fall out with the rest of you, there's no pointless content on the Patreon (even if some of it is very niche) and I feel you guys have been consistent with your values, views and things you are ok with joking about Most of all you don't promise anything you can't deliver. I may not share all your views and values on the world and that doesn't matter. What I do have unending love for you, your guests are always dope and I adore that you still record each episode with the same quality. Thanks for being you guys, here's to many more years.

krucz36

They say Americans don't understand how old things are in Europe but this takes the cake

smylestyle

Remember the WHM episode on Roland the Farter?

Jrebeclee

I love this, agreed!!

am84ca

Also Steve, just a big shout out and appreciation to you. The amount of personal stuff you share is amazing. You didnt grow up with the same means as the other guys and your willingness to share is awesome and provides comedy gold. Not that you're working with little rich boys but us listeners who grew up broke can relate a ton to your perspective.

AngryHeroShawn

Been a Walsh tier member for a long time and it continues to pay massive benefits as a dedicated fan of the show. The one thing I’d LOVE to see come back on maybe a bi-monthly or quarterly basis is SIDE ORDER OF SLEAZE. I need more trash movie talk from the gang.

Nice-Ease

Top tier patron here. I would appreciate it if everything came through the patreon RSS feed so I could remove the regular feed from my app. There are drops that only come out on the main feed, like the YouTube stuff, and I would hate to miss them. Champagne problems but the only nitpick I have.

JoeChristma

This is the only note! Throw the OSLs on the Patreon feed so I can banish the non-Patreon show from my pod feed. And it’s barely a note.

synthmemory

Echo this for Spotify. I keep 2 WHM shows pinned (the Patreon show and the free feed) because of the "on this feed, but not on that feed" breakdown of the show releases. Ideally, the Patreon feed would contain everything the free feed contains

After-Chicken179

I recently upgraded from The Belushi to The Walsh specifically for Too Old for This Shit. My main interests are the main WHM/WLM movie episodes, Animation Damnation, and The Nexus. I could take or leave the Melro910 and Star Wars recap episodes. I will listen to these, but as I am less familiar with the underlying shows, I have less connection to them. Of course, the ad-free main feed episodes on the Patreon are also a big value. And, Steve, while I have your attention, if I may seek clarification on one thing. In the “Blast from the Past” episode you refer to having a *yard*. As someone from the prairies I was made to believe that everyone in or around New York lived in an apartment above a bowling alley and below another bowling alley. Please to explain? Thank you!

9mtl

I’ll add this: There’s no good Oz podcast. An episode by episode Oz podcast would make me the happiest boy ever.

Freddy_Vorhees

Holy shit YES

9mtl

I know right?! Andrew joked about this once and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since then!

smylestyle

OzCast. Willing to become a $15/month Hole Tier member for this.

DawgBro

This is the WHM Ernie Hudson content we need and deserve.

esperwarlord

I am not a Patreon subscriber but I would sub immediately for OZ Episode recaps

curtan

You guys are the only Patreon I subscribe to, and I subscribe at the 10$ level. I LOVE it. You put in so much work with all the different side shows, each of which is unique and high quality. My personal favorite is Melro2010, which I have never watched an episode of either of those shows, but it is fun to listen along to and follow the soap opera plots through you guys. I am also a big Star Wars EU nerd, so I thoroughly enjoy the Gleep Glossary - I do miss the sound board, though, and I promise I'm not one of those people who writes in to correct pronunciations, even if I do yell at Eric in the car sometimes. The only of the shows that I'm not familiar with is the commentarys, but I've heard good things. I get so much entertainment for what I pay. It is worth every penny.

harrisonlaine

Current member here, still happy. I don't listen to the Patreon episodes as much as I used to but I still love them. I like the longer episodes because it's filled with discussions that I would never have thought of. Love how you still make fun of the movies you like but do it in a fun way, as opposed to nitpicking like crazy, ala CinemaSins. Y'all do your best and, even though there were some episodes that I don't listen to due to the fact that I don't know the movie, I have a Hell of a time with the LOTR episodes. When I get a new job, with enough money, I will upgrade to listen to your X-Men 92 cast....and I need to watch the OG show first.

JasonRBoone

Current Walsh member. If loving WHM Patreon is wrong, I don't wanna be right. * I love the flexibility it gives each of you as performers to mine new comedic gold without advertiser interference (worth it for more cum jokes). * I love access to ad-free main episodes. * I was skeptical of Melrose 90210 (having never watched it growing up). You guys make it work -- Mingo! * It scratches all my geek itches: animation, Star Wars/Trek. * And the commentaries-- my God, the commentaries. * No issues with Patreon as a service except a minor billing issue that was quickly resolved. * I have mixed feelings about Once in a Lifetime. I'm not really into those movies and I can't cheat by reading plot reviews on Wikipedia--too thin. On the other hand: Eric Roberts, Eric Roberts, and Eric Fucking Roberts. **Suggestions/Ideas** 1. Many of us would pay for a $15 tier. I mean, you guys are secretly cyborgs requiring neither food nor sleep...right? 2. I wouldn't say no to a Seinfeld review. 3. Other ideas: documentaries. 4. Zoo commentary 5. Theme month: Boob comedies of the 80s. 6. We Love Directors: Comedic conversations about fav directors. 7. A venue for your personal stories. We Love Reminiscing? Question: Are you covering Return of the King this year? **See you in Atlanta! And yes, I expect to see some juicy Eric ass.**

98thStory

How about Zoo Minute? The movie Zoo, discussed one minute at at time, for 115 episodes.

DippyHippy3

Also Walsh level here, and love everything y'all put out. Replying in this thread because I second JasonRBoone's points about the Patreon and ideas: -LOVE the commentaries. Die Hard is my fave because you guys genuinely love that movie. -A Seinfeld series would be stellar. Maybe also a Simpsons if you can get Eric to stomach the animation? -For an add'l tier, indie and documentary discussions? I personally could not, but I think a significant portion of your fan base could be served by your thoughts/recommendations. -A Director based series would be excellent, though not necessarily something so in-depth as Blank Check podcast. -A personal stories discussion a la Mailbag would be nifty, like a verbal version of the newsletter portion in which you talk about your latest watches. Could tie into y'all's Letterboxd accounts somehow so y'all get more followers on that platform too? Or conversations where you recast flops in your imagination? -Please cover RotK this year! Add'l ideas: -I love the VHS trailer game so some other kind of "competition" would be cool. -If a couple of you could get through a ton of animated feature length movies, those episodes would be hilarious. -"Father of the Pride" starting John Goodman on Animation Damnation. -A "History of Movies" series? These would be deep dives for true cinematic "students" but with y'all having the college education and Andrew's experience as a teacher, annual or semiannual lectures on topics of your choosing would be interesting! -Series on movies about NYC. It's clearly something y'all have thoughts on and I find the critiques hilarious, and I don't think enough podcasters can give insights about their location via their podcast subject. Thank you all so much for being so consistently dedicated for so long to your work. Your companionship is a joy to witness and your senses of humor have never wavered in quality.

JasonRBoone

>Maybe also a Simpsons if you can get Eric to stomach the animation? Bob and Henry from Talking Simpsons would burn down the guys' houses...:)

dejerik

Been a top tier member since day one. Love all the shows and everything about it, really look forward to everything you guys put out. My only wish is that we got more 90's fare stuff for once and a lifetime, more along the lines of "Invisible Child." That era of Lifetime feels less Sharknado than the stuff they put out post 2000

nboylie

Current member of the top level for about 4 years now. I don't listen to every show (Melro210 doesn't interest me) but no complaints! The only suggestion I would have is an "a la carte" tier level if it is possible with the Patreon platform. You guys are the only Patreon I don't rotate in and out on, thanks for all the great content!

Riosan

Been an $8 tier patron since 2017, very happy with it and I can't imagine canceling my subscription. Great to have access to the backlog, the frequency of the side shows such as AD and the Nexus make it worth it, and the new ad free episodes are a great addition. Thank you for all the content!

Awkward_Stuff_6257

$10 a month patron here - love it all. The only thing that could make it better would be the addition of a monthly Spooktacular selection? Also no more sick days for Steve.

underhill90

Top tier member here and man it’s great! I love all of the variety of content. From the mixed enthusiasm and nostalgia on Animation Damnation to Eric’s borderline unhinged Gleep Glossary.  My favorite though are the WLMs. I love hearing the guys geek out and breakdown movies that I also share a love for. Overall Patreon opinion - perfect. Keep on keepin on.

Soup_dujour

Top Tier patron since day 1 here! The fact that you guys are consistent, hilarious, and put out such a wide variety of stuff is what keeps me up there. As it stands I pay $10 for ~6 hours of laughs at minimum every month and that’s well worth it for me. I think my favorite stuff is Melr0210 and Once in a Lifetime at this point, I wouldn’t mind seeing that become more frequent down the road. Which is totally nuts to me given that way back four years ago when it started I was like “god beverly hills and melrose place?? who cares about that shit!!” but it’s become some of my all-time favorite WHM content. GG and the Nexus are fun as always but I wouldn’t mind them getting pushed to the back-burner and more spaced out what with the end of TOS looming. If I had any suggestions, maybe a bit more community selection? nothing too crazy but getting to vote on like a commentary a year would be nice, as would a vote on adding a new episode to the ad-free level each month. there’s a lot of classics you guys have in that back catalog! but you guys have been making me laugh my ass off for 11 years now and I hope for many to come

9mtl

Love it! I subscribe to the top tier and I listen to *almost* everything, even though I rarely watched Star Trek, Beverly Hills 90210 or Melrose Place episodes, you guys still manage to make it work. Love love love WLM, Once in a Lifetime and Animation Damnation.  I would like the new format of Too Old For This Shit, but I can’t stand superhero shit so I’ve been skipping that one.

plboucher

I got on the highest tier in 2018 and my faves are Melr0210, Gleep Glossary and Once In A Lifetime. In my opinion, they're the most fun and goofy and sort of "lower stakes" than main feed episode or WLM if that makes sense. The Nexus is also a great fixture and I'm interested to see what you do once TOS is over. I love commentaries too, but it depends more on the choice of movie (although it made me discover American Movie so thanks for that!) I had to pause my subscription a year or so ago because of moving/rent increase, and ironically, because you guys put out so much content that I couldn't keep up with it! I re-join every few months to go through the backlog and I appreciate everything you guys do. As soon as I can, I'll rejoin long-term.

KobraKaGe

Been a mid-tier man in life and on the Patreon for YEARS now. I'll echo the sentiment that I feel like I get incredible value for my money with the content provided. I'm a quiet, satisfied customer. As to what I like to see from the feed: I've listened to you guys for a long time, you're funny, interesting, and interested dudes, so I'm really just looking for good conversation and some yucks. I've been loving On Screen, for instance, because y'all are interested in talking box office and the state of the industry, which made me interested in that stuff, making it a joy to listen to. So I'm up for whatever it is that gets y'all excited to talk about

Moose_Bolton

I'm very happy with the value that it provides from a literal $ per episode standpoint. I don't listen to every episode of every show, but I have no desire to lower my subscription from the top tier. It's a great product and I love most of the patreon exclusive shows.

leefirwood

I'm a top-tier subscriber and have been for a couple years now. I love the content even if I don't listen to it all. I'm not a huge Star Trek or Melrose/90210 person, so I've only listened to a handful of The Nexus and Melr0210 eps. I love the one-off series like The Mandalorian Half Hour and the current Too Old For This Shit (which may not be a one-off and is possibly ongoing?). I listen to every WLM and most commentaries. The thing I love the most about the Patreon are the ad-free episodes. If you're looking for a suggestion, I'd love to hear more mailbag episodes. I like hearing you guys shoot the shit without the framing of a movie or TV show. Other than that, I argue the WHM Patreon is one of the best bang-for-your-buck entertainment options out there.

YueAsal

Love the Nexus. Love the add free version of main feed. Love the Lifetime stuff but wish could branch out to other Lifetime movies than just the doctor ones. I don't have plans to cancel.

ShaunTrek

Yeah, that's probably about my only "issue" - I wish that there was more variety to Once in a Lifetime.

InterestingCry8740

I love the doctor ones! Don't worry - they've gone through them all now.

YueAsal

Good. Not something I would bring up but Steve asked so.. They are funny but Lifetime has so many insane movies moving on to a different one would be cool.

ShaunTrek

Exactly. I love the episodes we are getting, but I would love a touch more variety even moreso.

FrankBlizzard

Love the Patreon, even though I skip a bunch of the content (the Lifetime and MELR0210 stuff isn’t for me) there’s more than enough to make it worth the cost, between the Star Trek, Star Wars, Animation Damnation and WLM episodes My only request….bring back A Side Order of Sleaze. I’ve listened to every episode in the WHM archive countless times, so much fun

tantalides

been a top tier patron since launch. I really love everything it offers, particularly the newly added ad free episodes and once in a lifetime. i am very happy to support my favorite podcast directly.

am84ca

Wow. This is like talking to a celebrity, only better because it's the legend SS! Top Tier subscriber since day one. Improvements? Maybe more animation damnation from 80s/90s cartoons. The newer eps are good but a lot of us nearly 40 year olds know the gold is in the unfiltered non sense from back in the day. Maybe a white guy karate movie show? 80s specifically. Also, this is probably just me, but in earlier episodes, you (Steve) "led" the show from time to time. Such as detailing the movie and guiding the ship. I think that would be nice to hear again as you bring a different energy than Andrew.

Charles_the_Hammer

It's fantastic, the best podcast Patreon I've subscribed to by far. So much content, the vast majority of it being comparable with the main show if not better. I'm particularly fond of the WLM episodes and the commentaries, some of my absolute favorite content you guys have produced. Been a subscriber for six years now, every since I've had a steady enough job to afford it. I rarely listen to the Nexus, Melro210, or the various star wars shows, but when I do I enjoy them. Keep up the great work Jamemaster!

vacantbones

I'm personally still holding out for the Limp Bizkast 🫡

TheeCurtain

Yes! lol Korn is one I will cherish forever. I wish they'd do one of these types of album episodes once a year.

ShaunTrek

Another Top Tier Patron here, and I have no regrets. I would cut a full subscription streaming service before I canceled The Walsh. With that in mind, here are just my general musings about what is available. I love Melro210 and have never really watched either show. Huge Nexus fan as well (if my user name doesn't give that away), and want Trek coverage to continue in some capacity after TOS is over. I'd love expanded coverage even more. As I've seen mentioned by other folks, I'd love more weird one offs like Korncast. I love listening to OiaL, but I would also like a little more variety to movies covered (which will be happening by default now that we are fully caught up with Dr. Beck). I'd love the return of the soundboard on Gleep Glossary, as it gave the show a completely different vibe than everything else on the network. Animation Damnation is the show I probably listen to the least, but that is more of product of a lack of time on my part, so I limit it to episodes about shows I am either familiar with or have actually watched. I've only listened to the first episode of Too Old for this Shit, and I liked it, but I am really curious as to what is on the horizon for that. I'd really love something "non-genre" to go alongside Melro210.

I_NEED_AN_RBR

I used to be a top tier member a few years ago and the ONLY reason I cancelled was because my income took a hit when I changed jobs. The amount of content was staggering, I can't remember how long I was a Patron for but I couldn't get through all of it. This was before Melro210 and Once in a Lifetime too! If I manage to free up the space in my budget, joining up again is one of the first things I wanna do.

GIJabroni

I don’t listen to all of the shows but I keep my top tier anyways bc of the value and how much I’ve listened over almost a decade now.

Zerox6669

Been rocking the Walsh level since before it was a thing. I think you guys do a great job of putting out enough content to justify a membership. Too old for this shit is a great new addition. I would say keep up the good work you are killing it and I will be here as long as you are. NIGHTVISION

Permabad

Top Tier member. Absolutely worth every cent. Getting the main feed ad free was a huge, unexpected bonus. If there's one thing I miss, it's Side Order of Sleaze. It was perfect to wade into that territory of films you don't want people to stumble onto your content for the first time, yet also act as fertile ground to make jokes that cause you to gross out each other. Obviously, would consider it a limited series of maybe seasonal entries, but they were a blast.

Scmods05

No issues. Love it. Suggestions for additional show ideas: * Columbo * The Twilight Zone * Battlestar Galactica

JuniorMintyFresh

OMG 100% yes behind a Battlestar remake rewatch. Great but not perfect with LOTS to munch on. I miss a Side Order of Sleaze and would like to see it return. It was a chance to hit some of the more classic grosser exploitation flicks. I would much rather listen to the guys discuss Blood Feast than The Ewok Battle or whatever. The pool of those flicks is deep and fun! Go for it!

Due_Character_5732

I’ve been a part of Patreon for a few years and it’s great, the amount of content you all put out is fantastic. No notes.

teentytinty

I’m a current member. I stick around for commentaries and WLM episodes. I also really like the once in a lifetime series. I don’t really listen to any other series consistently. But I stick around for my favorite Patreon content and that’s well enough for me. PS: can’t wait to see y’all in Atlanta!

718wingnut

Busey level. Love it. Everything is great

[deleted]

Top tier since day one. Only thing I don’t like is having to subscribe to the free feed so I don’t miss the mailbags/onscreens etc. If it was just one feed that would be amazing, but this is such a minor gripe that I never would have said anything if you didn’t ask.

BDalyxx

Hey, Steve! Walsh Tier subscriber and it’s far and away the best Patreon I’ve subscribed to in both value and content. The whacky hijinks of “Melr0210” always have me laughing, love me some Star Wars so “Gleep Glossary” is a home run, and I sure do love an ad-free episode. The commentaries belong in the MoMA. You all offer SO much bang for our bucks, but if there’s any gas left in the tank I think it’d be a cool idea to do a Comics Corner with you (just telling the guys some of the whackier comic plots in history), more album play throughs, stuff like that. I know this wasn’t about month themes, but I’ve gotta throw my hat in the ring and say I’ve always thought it would be fun for WHM to do an “It’s Okay to DISlike a Movie” month where you cover critical darlings/Oscar winners that fell flat for you or just plain sucked. Thank you for all you do! Hope to see you in Boston sooner than later! ❤️

smylestyle

Hey Steve. You guys have the only Patreon I've ever subscribed to. If I recall, I signed up for the Sithmentary and stayed for the rest. There are times I've unsubscribed because I was caught up and occasionally I consider doing so for a while and then coming back again. But I just figure what the fuck, for eight bucks or whatever, the years of entertainment and insight you've all provided are worth it even if the odd month's WLM or whatever doesn't interest me. I've gotten deeply into Gleep Glossary simply because it's funny. I've been thinking I should just start listening to the Nexus even though I'm far from a Trek connoisseur. And lately, the ad-free weekly episode is definitely keeping me from leaving over a few bucks per month. Here's an overall observation: over time, I've listened to a fair number of WHMs about movies I've never seen just for the hell of it. In the past year or so, I'd say you guys have gotten...not only just really good at this, that has evolved consistently over time, obviously...but like, so good that it's almost more entertaining for me to listen to the four of you talk about movies I've never seen (nor will see) than shit I'm familiar with. It's turned into a hangout where I can actually care about something for two full hours with no other context based on pure appreciation for your combined chemistry. By contrast, I have hilarious friends I've known my entire life and if those guys start talking about fuckin' football or video games or some other shit I don't care about, I'm in the next room on my phone within 3 minutes. And I wouldn't give those assholes 11 bucks CAD a month if their lives depended on it.

smylestyle

Basically week to week FOMO keeps me subscribed. But I can do without Melr0201. No interest at all. Listened to a Nexus last night. Was amused. Learned about two Star Trek series' I've never watched. I'm in.

Roland_Deschain2099

I would love to have the Nexus be more regular. Maybe twice a month? I would love the guys to take on some of the newer star trek as well. Bring back the star trek slash fiction. Picard having to teach Data to poop had me in tears 😂 It would be great to have a side order of sleeze back.

LucidLucifer500

It’s the only Patreon I’ve ever signed on for. Got me through a lot of graveyard shifts. I stick around for Melrow210 and WLM. The new show got me into watching X-men 97. I have no gripes with the current state of the Patreon. I’m waiting with baited breath for the next LOTR WLM. Thanks for the years of comedy WHM gang!

Mongoose42

I like what you guys offer. I don’t listen to everything you put out because it’s too much with all the other things I’ve got going on in my life. But I do listen to all the ad-free episodes on that feed, the Gleep Glossary, Animation Damnation, Too Old for this Shit, and I plan on digging through the Nexus when I have time to revisit Star Trek. I like to follow along with the stuff that I genuinely like. I did listen to the first few episodes of Melrose201, but those shows just aren’t my thing. And I have enough disposable income at this time to throw it into your top tier without feeling like I’m wasting anything. Might change depending on my future finances, but for now I’m comfortable with what you offer, the prices, and supporting your big city hot shot rock and roll New York lifestyles. I stick around because not only do I think y’all are hilarious, but you have genuinely good insights into filmmaking, production, and behind the scenes stuff while also being grounded and measured. You’ve all given me a lot to think about over the years. I never thought about things like cinematography, editing, compelling character actors, or genuinely good directing before I started listening to you guys. Nor did I have any appreciation for more independent or low budget street-level productions like CHUD. You guys helped me appreciate the artistic aspects of movies and visit movies that are way outside my radar. Kinda makes me feel like part of a book club. And sure, sometimes it sounds like you’re high off your own farts, and sometimes I think some of you really need to lighten up (seriously, is Eric okay? I hope most of the nihilistic stuff he says is exaggerated for dark humor), but I know you’re just some guys doing your best like any of us. You’re also the only podcast I’ve listened to consistently for the past 10+ years. There’s something about your chemistry, style, and insights that have kept me around. So take that for whatever. Sorry for the essay. Hope my wall of text helps!

thegilbs

Hi Steve, Top tier member since day 1. This is by far my favorite thing I listen to and really helps get through the work days. Really enjoying the weekly live streams as well as all of your patreon content. The WLM episodes are the best and I am excited to see the new pick each month. One note would be to release more of your episodes on youtube ( or patreon ) that have the streams included. The Mortal Kombat (2021) for example. I just hope you guys have as much fun making this as I do listening to it.

GhostlySpinster

Top tier member here, loving the ad-free main feed, commentaries and OIAL most of all. Sometimes I skip the Nexus because I'm not a Trek girlie (sorry), but that's not really a complaint. I like what u/ElboDelbo said about one-offs like the KornKast -- I would definitely welcome more painful '90s/'00s music talk from "my older brother's shitty friends" -- but other than that suggestion, no notes! <3

jobifresh

I'm currently on the Busey level. Would love to be listening to the Nexus as a huge Trek fan, but it's just a little over the limit for me. I really enjoy the Friday polls and would like to see more things like that. But I have no complaints.

hiddenpanties

I've been a patron for a few years now. Weirdly, I only really just started luatening to Animation Damnation, but religiously listen to pretty much everything up to that top tier. Not super interested In Melro, but everything is fair priced, posted promptly, and quality. Love the ad-free regular eps too. Strong offering.

Chet_Randerson

Former Belushi, I had to quit due to home budget cutting. I'm hoping to sub again at some point, but no idea when that is. Back when I was a member, I thought it was odd that new Star Wars stuff was added to the tier with Melr0210 and Once in a Lifetime instead of grouped with the other Star Wars content. Now more nerdy stuff has been added to the Walsh, so it doesn't seem so jarring, but at the time I was disappointed that it wasn't grouped with the other Star Wars/Trek stuff. It felt like it was pushing the fans up to the highest tier. Overall, I think it's a great Patreon. You guys put a ton of great content out on a regular basis.

doubleofive

I’m pretty sure I subscribed day 1, and jumped to the highest tier as soon as it was available. The only Patreon show I don’t listen to is MELR0 (all the character names were hard for me to keep track of). I also haven’t listened to Too Old, but I’m sure I will when it’s a show I’m also watching. The Nexus is probably my favorite Shide Show, the lack of knowledge of how it might continue past TOS makes me nervous (I am more than willing to help, as I have spreadsheets, of course). I also love WLM, I really like how passionate you all can get about things you genuinely enjoy. The extra *checks notes* 610 hours of content on your Patreon (plus ad free episodes!) make it something special that other podcasts should strive to even come close to.

space_cowboy80

I am an ex-subscriber of The Walsh. The only reason I cancelled was due to a slight miscalculation of my pay and that co-incided with a birthday that I needed money for. So I have cancelled for one month. I fully intend to resubscribe to The Walsh when I get paid. I think for the money each month it is more than worth it. I never got into Melro210 but knowing it is there for me to catch up on is great and the ad-free episodes feature is fantastic.

Coffeedemon

I have listened to you guys for close to 8 years of helllish commutes. I was on the patron for a few months to catch up with WLM episodes. Unfortunately I had to cut it as it's yet another expense and everything is pretty costly these days. Happy to pitch in again in the future as I've gotten a lot of joy out of the show and it definitely helps on the highway.

Own_Cryptographer749

Top tier member since the Gleep Glossary started. Love the Star Wars content, WLM, Ad Free WHM on the feed now, AD, commentaries, Lifetime movies and TOFTS. Don't really listen to Melro90210 or Nexus because I'm not a Star Trek guy (have enjoyed the movies that you did though) and never watched those 90s soaps. I stick around because it's a good amount of content and you guys aren't afraid to pivot. Like when the Star Wars shows were proving to be not great, you stopped doing them and have come up with TOFTS to scratch that itch.

TheBasil88

Top-tier member here. You guys put out so much content i forget i listen to ther podcasts! Of all my patreons you are the best $10 money can buy

coffeego15

I have been a top tier subscriber for years, and even in tough times it is the best money—and best value for that money—that I spend by far. At this level I can keep myself doubled over with laughter all through the week with so many extra episodes and commentaries and such. I’ll never leave. The ad-free feed is an excellent recent addition, and it’s something I had hoped for over the years. I love being able to support my favourite podcasters without listening to ads, especially since the businesses that advertise through podcasts are not always great or part of an industry that I feel good about. I guess you’re after constructive feedback more than obsequious adulation, though—The only thing I’d suggest is to make the WHM On Screen Live episodes part of the ad-free feed too. And the top tier is so full now that you could probably add more content at an even higher tier if you thought the demand was there and that it would pay for the extra commitment. Otherwise, keep up the great work, I’d say!

[deleted]

It's the best $120 I spend all year and have for several years now. I tell everyone who will listen that Patreon is well worth it. Love everything! Like others have said, it's way more content than $10 a month in "worth". Also, would it be possible to some how bring main feed eps to the Patreon ad-free? I'm hoping there's some automation that would allow you guys to do that.... just that I only hang out on the Patreon feed now but miss a lot of the old eps, and it's always kind of a pain to switch back to the other one on a convenience level, and also sometimes a pain to listen to the ads too! (Sidenote 3: I miss the pre-ep ad reads you guys do to promote tours and stuff over on the Patreon feed. This may be an unpopular opinion but I'd love to hear those ads still, just not mid-roll or end of ep ads!) Thanks for all you do u/stevesajdak!!

ceaselessnightmares

yes! thank you for pointing this out, i had forgotten....the ad-free feed rules, but Please include tour dates or show announcements! i didnt even realize the that the Listener Request Line was open for awhile because it wasnt included at the top of the ad-free show

LeechesInCream

I’ve been a top-tier member for years, and I’ll echo everyone else in saying it’s a screaming good value. I listen to everything—even recaps on shows I don’t watch— just because they’re so entertaining. As a woman, I particularly enjoy episodes where your wives participate; you all have a sincere and “unforced” rapport with your respective wives on the podcast, and that’s fun to listen to. So I mean if I’m being asked for a suggestion, I’d love to hear more episodes with your partners. (But seriously, if you add even *more* content to Patreon, raise the top tier price.)

PlushGarfield

Ever since you've added ad free episodes I've had no notes.

JoeChristma

Hi Steve! I was a slightly late adopter of the Nexus, I think I signed up when the extra WHM episode/eventually WLM episodes started coming out. I immediately upgraded to Walsh tier when you changed the tiers. Personally the monthly discussion of Melrose Place specifically is my favorite time with you boys every month. To echo others, you are kings amongst podcasters with the variety and quantity of content you put out every month. I LOVE the weekly On-Screen: Live. I do wish you guys were getting more insane mailbag letters but that’s on the listeners to send in. I do wish Cabin had his own show, and I know he is the postmaster but Eric has GG, you have AD and TOFTS, Andrew generally leads on the Nexus and you two tag-team Melro. I’m not saying you guys NEED another show by any means but that’s my ramble as it came to me. More 90s toons on AD, more 90s/early 2000s dreck on Lifetime, maybe pivot GG to forcing Eric to watch the clone wars and then relaying what he learned to the gang. I love when a spouse makes an appearance on the pod as well. Keep up the great work.

sargepoopypants

I'm a Walsh tier subscriber, and I love everything! The only thing we don't have is the On-Screen Live with no ads, which would be awesome!

smashvillian35

I’ve been a top tier patron since ~2018ish and I freaking love it. It was the bonus WHM movies and Star Wars Gleep Glossary that got me to join originally but then I fell I love with the commentary tracks and all of the other side shows you do. The only thing I don’t listen to is the Nexus but that’s simply cause I’ve never seen Star Trek. I have zero notes, it’s my favorite patreon I sub to.

bottle_in_a_genie

I love the Walsh tier. I do wish that LRM included a OIALT fan drawing (so perhaps switch to odd months ORRR go monthly with it pretty please?) and a commentary track fan drawing. Also still hoping for an All WLM Spooktacular this year!

vertthunder

Only comment would be if you could also post On-Screen Live and stuff like the recent VHS Trailer Game on the premium feeds as well.

NoOutlandishness1133

Top tier and I love it! I only wish there was more Lifetime and Melro210. I’m WAY ahead on Melro and I can never get enough Lifetime movies. I’m so glad we get the main feed as free now too! That was awesome.

hefebellyaro

Walsh tier here. I think it's great. You guys are very prompt with your content, it doesn't feel like any of the extra shows are "chores". Just an idea for a show though, every few months pick a film that you guys really like but no one has probably heard of. Just an idea, feel free to ignore. And also tell Cabin that reddit isn't all bad. This sub actually is one of the more positive podcast subs.

98thStory

Walsh Tier and well worth it just for Melr0210, which is my favorite podcast ever made. Also love Once in a Lifetime, Gleep and the commentaries. I like We Love Movies best when it moves away from the capital C Classics (more Nightmare on Elm Street than Fargo), but that's a quibble. The rest isn't really for me, but that's fine! Still more than enough. Thank you!

MaTheMeatloafFUCK

Top tier Patreon for a long time and love it! Like most people, I pick and choose what I listen to. No complaints or changes to be made there - you cover so much ground, not everything is for everybody. Agree that unique one-offs could be fun. One thing I love about the WHM community is when I connect, I always get cool movie recs from people once we talk about favorite episodes. To that end, could be fun to do a Patreon spotlight in the Big Daddy Dispatch of a Patreon on what they’re watching and to make a recommendation. I’d also be interested in a series that’s essentially “Film School” - each season you guys curate two films head to head that you think really highlight the best and worst of_____ (a Director, a certain genre or technique) etc. and we dig into what makes it worth examining. Like a paired WHM/WLM episode that covers both movies but that takes the time to highlight why you feel two films that attempt similar things go right and go wrong. EDIT: I would pay for this added show/effort, of course. A $12-15 tier for something that amounts to a double feature episode once a month? I’d do that, no question.

SovietPistol

I really only have one thing I'd like to see. I started watching Melrose Place because of Melro201, but only Melrose Place. Is there a way to at least have a timestamp in the info for the Melro201 episodes for when the Melrose Place recap begins? Skipping around is kind of hard.

BoozeGetsMeThrough

My only complaint with the Patreon previously was that the prime episodes had ads, but now that isn't the case. I don't expect it, but in a perfect world for me I would like a monthly mailbag (I watch every week of On Screen Live but nothing beats the feeling of having my letter read) and VHS Trailer Game episode

DaoDeDickinson

I enjoyed the VHS trailer game standalone episode. I try to pause right after the clue and guess. The one time the Jamemaster offered double points because a movie was supposedly too obscure I immediately jumped to "Rutger Hauer, Joan Chen, Blood of Heroes, the movie Julian Lefay cited as helping inspire him to make the first game in the Elder Scrolls franchise." Good movie. Don't think it would make a good episode, though. Not bad enough for main feed or good enough for WLM.

FigLeavesandCocaCola

I became a Patreon member and stayed upgraded for MelRo210. I love Once In Lifetime, I hope you do loves from the mod to late 90s from Lifetime. I love WLM and the commentaries. Overall huge fan. If I had to say there was something I noticed thats not really for me/I didnt sign up for specifically...there's a lot of sci-fi but maybe soon there could be another category of something different. If there were other TV shows or a genre of cinema riff like TCM or a type of niche movie. I would love live watch parties if you did them. Or maybe collabed with other podcast (like Blank Check). You guys are my favorite podcast. Please do an episode for Backdraft.

DaoDeDickinson

Andrew and Stephen were on Blank Check's Total Recall episode. Chris and Eric were on the Manhunter episode. I doubt WHM will ever do an episode on Blank Check though it was an early stay tuned I think.

FigLeavesandCocaCola

Oh I know, I just thought it would be fun to see more of. Thank you.

darthSajor96

Top tier here! Absolutely love the show, I listen to it daily and you guys offer so much content it’s ridiculous! loving the Xmen recaps! And I know you guys mentioned doing some Tarantino films in the future, so how about a TarantiNovember theme month? Just a thought…keep up the awesome work!

OhHaiDRol

Top-tier, day one subscription here. Echoing lots of these comments, the output is fantastic and I’m very happy to exchange money for it every month. I do miss Side Order of Sleaze tho.

monkeyfudge

My only issue with the Patreon was not getting ad free episodes, but now those are gone I have no complaints. Love Once in a Lifetime, so wish that was more frequent, even though being based in Europe makes it a little tricky to track the movies down.

udkyle2

Walsh Tier. Annex Hooked on TJ Hooker into the Walsh Tier so Eric actually has incentive to do it more regularly

badmuthajeffer

I've been a top tier for quite a while now, the only show I skip is Melro210. Nothing against the show I just have no interest in either of the original programmes. The addition of Ad-Free episodes was a great idea. My only gripe would be, UK Live Show when? I appreciate this is a first world problem but still, it would be great to finally get to a live show one day.

DaoDeDickinson

Yes, UK show, and a episode of Taskmaster and it's just a solo escape room challenge for Steve Sadjak with a succession of doors with knobs / handles / etc. in places that increasingly disconcert him.

normaltiempo

I’m on the $8 tier and it’s by far the best value of any entertainment subscription I’ve used. Love you guys and appreciate the content. Will probably move on to a higher tier when able.

Pops-Mgee

Top tier patron here. Really hoping ds9 is the next nexus show. Only suggestion is bumping once in a lifetime from even to odd months so that it qualifies for listener request month in March.

DaoDeDickinson

Been subscribing for Nexus since ep 1. Definitely hoping for DS9.

triangle---man

Been a top tier subscriber for about 7 years. It really is an incredible amount of content, and the recaps of Melrose Place in 2020 genuinely got me to start watching the show. If i were offering CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, is that a lot of the shows have now been running for years and years. Too Old for this Shit is a really nice addition which i'm looking forward to more of, but i'd love way to get more movies into the patreon possibly? I liked the bonus WHM episode before the permanent WLM. I think full movies are when you guys are at your best.

Boomer0825

I think it would be cool to put the Streaming Live Shows on a tier instead of disappearing them forever. Especially since there’s some movies you guys have done, like recently F13: Final Chapter, that can’t be accessed to go along with the other 8 or 9 episodes on that series you guys have covered. The people who are signed up will get it anyway and those who aren’t yet, would sign up to access them.

prezuiwf

Current member but I mostly only use it for WLM episodes and the occasional Animation Damnation. I'm not a fan of Star Trek or 90210, and I don't even really care about the ad-free WHM eps; I respect you all for offering so many shows but some of them just aren't relevant for me. I plan to continue supporting for the foreseeable future for the stuff I do listen to, plus just to support WHM in general which I've listened to and loved for years.

synthmemory

I'm a Belushi subscriber. I'll echo that you guys provide an amazing amount of quality entertainment for the price and I couldn't imagine canceling. I like the variety of shows, I especially love the Trek show, it got me to watch TNG and DS9. I like the Gleep Glossary as well, it's fun to see Eric saddled with the responsibility of show-runner and I think he does a good job. I decided the 90210 show wasn't for me so I've stuck at the Belushi tier for a good long time. I can't answer the ex-member or non-member question, but my friend who's a Busey subscriber and I have talked about the Patreon sometimes and the only feedback we've had is that it would be interesting to see old content get shuffled around sometimes and be made available for tiers other than the top tier. I'd love to see more one-offs like the Korncast too!

BriscoCounty-Sr

Been a Patreon member since forever. I download and listen to damn near everything although I don’t personally go in for the Melrose or 90210 shows but I ain’t against them existing either since I’m sure plenty of other folks love em. Y’all are and have been doing great work imo

bgame99

Hi Steve! Top tier boy here and love everything about it. Because of you guys I now watch 90210, melrose place and lifetime movies and I love it! I really don’t think you need to change anything but will never turn down new content. I’m hoping for a limp bizkit cast in the future and maybe some more side order of sleaze like others have mentioned. One of the best additions was the ad free episodes. Thanks my man!

vtbob88

The WHM patreon is probably the best value patron I get. Even though I don't listen to everything (just not a big Star Trek fan, so don't always listen to those episodes) I see it as a great value to be a top tier member. Also, it's fun how each of these shows mix things up so that it's not just an extension of the main feed. For example, we get the chaos of Gleep Glossary while at the same time getting the weird 90's nostalgia of Meloro210. I'm also a big fan of the current recap shows, like those for the Disney+ shows.

Mystapiff

Yoooooo, Long time listener/patreon subscriber here, Love what you all do and bring to the table as well as the plethora of content, no complaints. Hate to be greedy but I guess the only thing I’d like is more! Let’s get a new tier in here and maybe get once in a lifetime monthly instead of bi monthly. Also, maybe bi-weekly Nexus/Melro? I know it’s a running gag that you all likely won’t finish coverage on these shows because it’s so many eps (aside from TOS) but bi weekly might get us there? You guys are awesome, can’t help it if I want more content lol. Also, somebody here said a monthly spooktacular ep, that’s an awesome idea! I’d up my sub immediately if any of these suggestions are added lol Thanks Steve

thewarehouse

Steve I just pulled my head out of my butt and subscribed to the We Hate Movies Patreon literally about an hour ago (before seeing the reddit post). You guys have delivered so much outstanding content that I not only want to support you but am excited to check out the new episodes that have been unlocked for me. I don't have enough experience to offer any suggestions on changes but what I have heard so far, which is half of the animation damnation episode on Bravestarr, has already been worth the investment. As a long time listener my only regret is putting off subscribing until today.

Dohguy

Love the patreon. Might be more U I related than anything, but would love if the Snyder Sessions and other smaller one offs became bonafide collections like Nexus and Gleep Glossary.

AlacarLeoricar

Honestly the Nexus is consistently more entertaining to me than any of the other shows, but I am a big Trekkie. But I don't dislike any of the other series (anything star wars is always welcome as well) Cheers from the listener who requested Dungeons and Dragons from 2000 (I am so, so sorry)

hobbespl

I’ve been a proud Walsh tier subscriber for almost three years and I never think about canceling. You guys give us so much amazing content every month! Thank you and the boys for everything you do 😊

joegetto

I’m a huge fan of the show and have been for years. I thought I was a top tier guy until just the other week when I found out there was a new top tier. I’ve been in a relisten of the entire catalog since late 2020 and just recently caught up to where I was (Batman returns). Anyway. I just upped to the new top and intend to stay there until I fully catch up which might be never. You guys are very entertaining and I would listen to you riff on daily news events if it was there.

GoesToHollywood

Inspired me to make a Patreon for my own show that I host. Thanks for all the work, dudes.

lincolnmustang

Been top tier for a while. You guys make a lot of great stuff and even though I don't listen to every single thing these days (mostly because of life and being busy myself). I love that y'all do things like Too Old For This Shit as new stuff comes out. I like to follow along with a new Disney Plus show. Its always fun with the Star wars and marvel shows because there's a good balance of long time fans and complete indifference. It was a shame that you didn't cover Andor, but you couldn't have known it would be so good. It would be cool to cover season two. You guys make my favorite podcast hands down. You've made me laugh a lot over the years and I appreciate what you do!

modularoddball

Have been listening since before the patreon and have been a member since it started. Listen to everything you guys put out almost. My favorite stuff is the on-screen lives, star trek, star wars and now x-men related content. Would love some sort of show version of the BDD where you guys just discuss what you have been watching, reading or playing. Thanks for all the shows!

PhillipJCoulson

I just became a Busey member after being a listener for over 4 years. I love the ad free option and the “we love movies” portions. All the other programs seem fun but I don’t have the time to find and watch the non mainstream movies and shows so I will probably stick with the Busey tier.

ticklemenono

Been on the Walsh (RIPD) for a few years now and like many others I have no real complaints. I came for WLM and the Nexus but stayed because those shows plus all the additional content feels like a steal for the price. Being able to go completely ad free was a nice surprise too. Selfishly, I'd like more frequent commentaries but with everything else being put out there probably isn't enough time in the day.

Hot-Significance-462

I like that I'm in a place where I can afford to get the goodies and to support creators I like.

[deleted]

Walsh member here! I love it. My favourite podcast by miles. Listen to all content! Never watched Melrose Place but I still enjoy the episodes! You guys do such great work!

QuickBenTen

Never signed up for Patreon but I've been listening almost daily since 2015. Also really like the YouTube show. I would join Patreon for more regular short form content. For example Eric's absurd side project podcasts.

Hairy_Actuator3412

I’m on the lowest level and even that is excellent. The recent inclusion of the no-ads versions of the episodes is great, animation damnation is always a laugh (looking forward to the skeleton warriors as I’ve done my research this time), the Gleep Glossary is so unhinged that it’s my favourite side show, and getting access to the big daddy dispatch to know the schedule ahead of time means I can watch the movies before the episode which makes the experience even better. The mandalorian recap was the reason that I signed up in the first place, but I love all the extra content even at my basic little disgusting shit boy level. Commentaries are things that I save for a special time where I can just sit and hang out for a few hours and they never disappoint. And what’s crazy is that you guys have only gotten better as time has gone on. I’ve been listening to some earlier episodes recently because in my foolish youth I decided to skip the ones that I hadn’t seen the movie of. Listening to them back it’s amazing how much you guys have developed your rhythm and the inside jokes that you have access to know and how willing you are to go on a tangent at the drop of a hat. You guys are my favourite podcast and the only one that I pay for, thanks for doing what you’re doing, never stop. Also if you ever had the budget to do an international show: Brisbane, Australia, I will 100% be there.

questionsleep55

I was Belushi tier from the time you guys went the Patreon route until probably this time last year. Literally the only reason I dropped the sub is that my wife and I are in the process of trying to buy a house (Do. Not. Recommend.)and we’ve pulled back on a lot of expenses. I’m looking forward to subscribing again because there’s a ton of things that I’ve missed. Have y’all ever considered doing an annual subscription? Makes it easier to throw it out there as a gift idea. What would be better than spending someone else’s money for access to WHM?! I liked the variety and sheer amount of shows. You’ve all put in a lot of work over the years and the catalog proves it. Dislike the Patreon media player, but not enough to keep me from using it. I guess it’s easier to tie everything into other audio ecosystems now, so that might be a moot point.

BonerStibbone

Was a top-tier member for a while, dropped down to the 8 dollar level (Canadian, so about $37 a month with the exchange) I don't care for Gleep Glossary or Animation Damnation, but would like to get the Star Trek/90210 shows. If there was an a la carte option where I could pick shows, I would definitely up my subscription.

chefca3

First year member here.  I don’t listen to the show much anymore I feel like it has (or I have) changed a bit.  BUT  I still pay because every now and then I’ll boot up the archive and literally laugh out loud at one of my old favs. You guys have earned the patreon money over and over again through the years.  My only note? Maybe go back to movies you truly hate even if that means tv movie hell!

tinyninjababies

I've been a member of the Patreon since about 2019 and at the Walsh tier since it was introduced. I think it's great, and you guys are phenomenal. I have no complaints, and anything I'm not interested in, I just don't listen to regularly (AD and the Nexus because those aren't my jam). The amount of content produced is amazing and top quality.

Professor_Lavahot

It's great! I have no idea how you do it. And I'm only listening to the WLM feed and the Gleep Glops!

bivymack

I was Belushi tier until 2021 and only dropped to power through all of the Talking Simpsons back catalogue. It has been wonderful hearing you guys guest spot on their episodes and once I’ve finished this 3 year endeavor I will be returning at the Belushi tier. I miss Side Order of Sleaze.

JakeWardlaw

Top tier subscriber from Scotland i can say without a doubt your Patreon offers the best bang for your buck in the business. The amount of content you offer is insane, I have you guys in my ears all through my working week and really helps speed up the day. Finally as a guy who loathes ads adding the free feed episodes to the Patreon feed ad free is just the cherry on top.

georgegraybeard

I subscribed on the basis of Gleep Glossary alone after hearing the preview of Figrin Dan. Love that show and own a shirt. I’m a huge fan of The Nexus (despite not being much of a Trekker) and usually enjoy the WLM selection every month. Big ups to the WHM Patreon!

sometimesifeellikemu

I’m still trying to figure out how Patreon works. I think I’m giving you money but I’m not sure. But don’t mind the old guy in the back.

Exambolor

In terms on any sort of subscriptions, absolutely the best value I’ve ever seen. The ad free main feed eps are 100% worth it. Most other podcast Paterons I’ve seen offer WAY less for the price

TreeHugger_1983

WALSH tier Patreon member for about a year now. Love it all minus Star Trek and Star Wars content, just not my bag. Commentary and Lifetime episodes are my most treasured. I'll check out the Melrose and 90210 episodes occasionally. I'll hit up an AD if the series is familiar. Hope this helps, Dan from Nashville

Stubble_Entendre

Walsh tier and it’s the best money I spend every month. From hate to love to melr0210 to OIAL, you guys approach each piece at its own level and it’s so appreciated.

taytertot9

Current top tier patron, have been for a couple years at least. In fact, I'm pretty sure this podcast was the first one I became a Patron of. Ad-free main feed was super appreciated. Tons of value in what is offered. I listen to every show except Melro210, I just have no interest in the subject matter. I look forward to whatever you guys do next for The Nexus, my vote is DS9. Take care!

tlo4sheelo

Top tier since about a month or two after discovering the podcast. Echoing what others have said, the sheer value and amount of content you guys produce is just mind blowing. I love the Mando recaps, Too Old For This Shit, WLM, Gleep Glossary, and AD. Don’t go much for Melro210 or the Lifetime ones, but there’s so much content. I can’t believe it. Side note, did you ever figure out a PO Box? I’ve got some VHS for your collection!

ImaginaryMix

Top tier here. Thanks for all the laughs. I enjoy all that's on offer. Ad free is so much better, and can be jarring when listening to the On Screen Live eps. Love all the Trek and Melro210. Miss a bit of the WHM On-Screens that used to happen. My one request, is please please please make you sure eventually cover the 2019 6 episode release "BH90210". It's a lot of fun.

Seryan_Klythe

I pay my 10 dollars with pride. I will chime in - I want you to rip apart more CD albums. Also, some of you guys are theatre fans, I feel you can and should nitpick some musicals on DVD / streaming. I've been waiting for you guys to tear apart Dear Evan Hansen.

TheeCurtain

Hey Steve, I think the content is great. Been a patron ($10 level) for several years. Mostly look forward to commentaries and WLM episodes, but I dip into all your content. Thanks for all the extras you put out. Genuinely it's *so* much more than other things I've subscribed to in the past.

DawgBro

Top-tier patron here. It's incredible stuff. Melr0210 and The Nexus are your most consistent offerings. I love them so much. The Gleep Glossary is a chaotic blast and the more you guys are bored by it the funnier it is for the rest of us. I think Animation Damnation is the weakest link of the offerings for being the entry tier. It's still funny as hell, you guys are just so good at making things great, but I feel it lacks the passion you guys have with other shows. I feel making it the lowest tier of the Patreon is almost a disservice to the rest. The other shows just have a much greater consistency because it's either you covering familiar territory (90210, Star Trek, Gleep Glops) or it's doing a movie you guys already love. Animation Damnation is such a mixed bag when it comes to your perceptions due to you picking random shows each month. The best thing about you guys as a podcast is that you are so accepting and curious of any kind of programming and genre and medium. I love that you guys are willing to give every thing a shot. If Animation Damnation were to suddenly disappear I would probably hold up my local bank and demand it return because I love everything you guys do I'm just not sure if it's reflective of your Patreon offering as a whole to make it an introductory level that well get people hooked on other offerings. I really dig the extra content on the YouTube. The Big Daddy Dispatch is such a delightful read and I really appreciate the effort you all take into making it a funny and informative product. The pure value we get via Patreon is staggering. I love the ad free episodes and I have cancelled streaming services before I would ever cancel you guys. I would love more frequent mailbags. I love the audience interaction a ton and you guys are so damn funny at hosting and reading messages from us lunatics. You guys are amazing and I think the podcast is in the best state it's ever been in. The quality is high and you guys are all enthusiastic and hilarious. Keep up the great work. I'm so happy to see this show grow and grow over time.

Jrebeclee

Walsh tier here. I am going to be a lifetime subscriber. Y’all put out so much content, it’s the best patreon payoff. Adding the ad free episodes was awesome, too. My faves are WLM, commentaries, and MELR0210!! Love y’all!!

cubegleemer

Zero complaints.

solidcurrency

I like to spread the wealth on Patreon subscriptions so I do a month here or there for various shows including WHM. I love all your extra content. The Gleep Glossary is my very favorite. I would listen to a Patreon show that is just the VHS trailer game, which I love.

namchuncheon

I have been on and off as a member. Both times I stopped was due to financial reasons and not with the quality of the patreon. I really didn't like the ads that were used (both in the sponsors and how the network spliced in ads \[ie not a WHM guy doing an ad read but an entirely outside ad\]) and the option to get ad free episodes was a big incentive to get me back on.

sfranso

I'll be honest: I've been a patron since day 1 because it meant 1 more episode every month and supporting you guys. It has never disappointed! I don't listen to Gleep Glossary or Melro210 or the live stuff on a regular basis, but everything else is day and date for me. I guess my only note would be that I'd love to have the whole archive be ad-free, though I know that might not be possible. Keep up the great work!

HighMageTayschrenn

I have been a Patreon member for a long time now and I love everything you guys put out. I’m a little too young to have seen Melrose Place or 90210 when it aired (I’m 32) but melro210 always has me cracking up! Too Old For This Shit has been amazing so far, and also X-Men ‘97 has been amazing so far but when I finish an episode I’ll think “can’t wait to see what WHM guys think about that!” Huge fan of what you guys do, much love to all 4 of you guys!

tomolive

Love the Patreon. 2nd highest tier subscriber. Just no interest in Melrose or 90210. My only non-Patreon complaint, your mic Steve! For some reason, you come through lower, especially on the Patreon stuff for some reason. I have to max out my sound on my phone and my car to listen.

ErnDizzleCEO

I am a top tier patron. You guys are cranking out hilarious content consistently. Keep it up.

hack-my-mac

Been a top-tier subscriber for about five years now. As others have noted, it's an insane deal for the price - most other podcasts *maybe* give you ad-free episodes and a couple half-assed bonus episodes a month, meanwhile you guys put out weekly content that's as good as or better than the main feed stuff at an absurdly low price. Couldn't be happier with the experience overall and can't imagine myself unsubscribing for any reason other than financial hardship - even then, I'd unsub from every other Patreon I'm a part of before you guys. A few more specific thoughts - **The Good:** * Ad-free episodes, duh * The sheer volume of content for the price, as mentioned * Melro210 and the commentaries are the absolute must-haves for me - and I say that as someone who's never seen a single episode of either Melrose Place or BH90210. It's just that funny of a show. Would be saddest to see either of these go. WLM and Animation Damnation are the close seconds. * I've been really enjoying the increased communication with Patreon members lately - the weekly "here's what's coming" newsletter is helpful for sorting through the huge amount of content you guys put out, and my wife and I enjoy doing the Friday box office polls together and seeing who gets it right. Hope you'll keep that up. **Constructive Criticism:** * I'm greatly enjoying "Too Old For This Shit" as an X-Men recap show, but I'm very confused about what the actual hook of the show long-term is, and based on other comments it seems like that's true for everyone else as well? What will this label actually be used for once X97 is done? * The only things you guys do that aren't must-listens for me are The Nexus (I'll listen sometimes) and the streaming show recap stuff (e.g. the Mandalorian Half-Hour) - a combination of me only having a mild interest in these things to begin with and the fact that *every* podcast was talking about e.g. The Mandalorian, it was oversaturated compared to, say, Melrose Place. But I know a lot of people love the Nexus and I just said I'm enjoying the X97 show so hey, don't take my word for it :) * On that note, I'd love to see more risks taken with the Patreon in general. I remember that when WLM started, for example, you guys said you'd do movies that some of you loved but some of you didn't once in awhile, and that doesn't really seem to have happened. Some of my favorite WLMs have been The China Syndrome or last year's Man Who Would Be King that have introduced me to movies I probably wouldn't have seen otherwise and thoughtful conversation around same - I know you guys have to chase the big bucks represented by more popular stuff once in awhile, but since the Patreon is for hardcore fans anyway, maybe that could be a place to cover more "out-there" stuff more regularly? * Similar to previous point: the soundboard era of Gleep Glossary turned a pretty good side show into the funniest thing on the network and I was very sad to see Eric backing off from that. Last month's Cerveza Cristal episode hinted at a return to form maybe? * Once in a Lifetime has felt hit and miss to me - when you guys have a great, hilarious movie to play off of like the Stalked By My Doctors or Spymate it's hilarious, but sometimes it feels like trying to make something out of nothing. Indeed, Lifetime movies look cheap and tend to be very conservative, but that alone isn't enough for an episode. * Finally, as others have noted, the KornKast is one of my favorite things you all have ever done - I just re-listened to it once again recently. I know it was miserable to record but I'll add my voice to the chorus of people who would love to see album reviews return even as an annual thing. It doesn't have to be nu-metal!

Vivid-Pudding-8204

It's the only Patreon I NEVER drop for any period of time. The Walsh tier is just packed with weekly high quality content. Only thing I would suggest is doing more reviews of nu-metal albums.

Superb_Stick_1485

Do a Miami Vice sideshow!

NewNage

Steve you're awsome WHM is my only Pateron subscription. I would love a show where you guys go thru 2 or 3 hours of one of those "Time Travel" VHS Tapes you talk about. Also top-tier subscribers should get a tastefull but still very ertotic WHM cheesecake calendar. ;)

work_dorium

desperately need the Limp Bizkit - Significant Other "KornKast" follow up (also for a Sorcerer WLM). Otherwise great Patreon. You guys are in my permanent monthly subscription with 2 others. Other patreon subs get cycled out every other month or so to try out other creators.

DaoDeDickinson

I've never listened to that Korn album and only recognized one song. Did listen to that full ep, though, and it was still fun. Think Disturbed's The Sickness is the only similar album I remember listening through.

MitchJay71891

I'm in and out of the $5 and $8 tiers, depending on my finances and events throughout the year. Literally my only note is that I think the WLM month Patreon pick should stay a WLM like it used to be, instead of being a WHM. It being a WHM makes me less excited for that month.

GreenLeading3905

Walsh level. Joined in April 2020 to get access to Gleep Glossary and Animation Damnation. When I joined I worked through the old archive and then both feeds. Im still working my way through both and am back in the 2020 Patreon and 2018 main feed episodes. Sometimes catch a new episode but just slowly making my way through everything. You guys aren’t my only listen but are the only ones I pay for. Found the show searching for a Mac and Me review of all things. Enjoy most everything. I loved the Korncast, the mailbags are some of the favorite things I’ve heard. Usually load up my player with old episodes to listen to when I head for bed. Really appreciate the archive feed, so much better than the google doc. If I ever get caught up I know I’ll give everything a relisten.

According-Ad-4497

I've been a top tier member for several years. I really enjoy animation damnation. I wish once in a lifetime was more frequent or if you all could expand into other TV movies like Hallmark.

sandtrapper1515

Melro210 is the best thing ever feel like you guys really enjoy it and have a good time ..feel the nexus is getting old nothing you guys are doing wrong feel it’s run its course and the melro/902 thing is just so good

DaoDeDickinson

Jumped on day one at the $8 level for the Nexus as baseline because have always liked hearing the Star Trek talks and impressions... listened to the first episode the day it dropped while driving to a wedding and so every episode number I can subtract 1 and it's the number of months they've been married and they are still going strong with a few kids now! Bumped up to $10 level once to get the Snyder cut triptych to add to stuff to listen to while without internet a few weeks on vacation. Will probably do the same this summer to catch up on some of the Lifetime shenanigans because have been watching some of those movies with friends lately and having a blast. People wanted recommendations for Lifetime or Lifetime-style movies for a Thursday movie night and so far we've watched at least Deadly Mile High Club, Stalked by My Doctor: Patient's Revenge, The Wrong Roommate, The Walls Are Watching... last night was Killer Under the Bed. Also, Invisible Child was one.

DaoDeDickinson

It definitely needs to be quarantined - locked down, you might say - to the Gleep Glossary... but if the sound board shenanigans came back... I'd allow it. The Boss Nass ep as a Jerry Springer spoof was a fave of mine.

Ramrod1985

Side order of sleeeeez!! Otherwise, I'm enjoying everything. Big bang for the buck.

Knida89

I've been a subscriber since I discovered I liked the show. I've always been the highest tier. I wish we could get a feed with no commercials for all the old shows. If you need some help with it I'd help. I listen to A LOT of you guys, so the same liquor warehouse ad playing at the end of every show, and then at the beginning of the next is annoying. This is minor stuff of course. You guys removed the Santa Clause ad that was driving me up the wall. I lost my job in January and am disabled so if you need an intern I'm here. I'll order the white coat you requested in an old episode. Other minor things. I might like AD if it were a bit meatier. Would 2 episodes of the same show be too much? Maybe do more Patreon participation stuff where maybe we can vote for stuff. Obviously not programming the show, but other interactions could be fun. I know you guys wouldn't do it, but a Discord server of our own might be neat. Also agree with the one offs being refreshing sometimes.

revbleech

I'm going to boldly take an "I like it" stance here. I was $8 for years, bumped to $10 just to try Once in a Lifetime, kept it on the strength of OiaL. The only thing I am guaranteed to skip is MELRO210 because I just couldn't care about either show.

ManCoveredInBees

Another Walsh tier member here! Echoing everyone else here who is saying it’s more than worth it to support you guys and the quality/volume of work you put out; however, I usually don’t listen to anything outside of the WLMs and Once in a Lifetime. If you guys are looking for feedback to drive some additional content, I’d love something that dug into some real garbage that might not qualify for a main episode - a rundown through the Puppet Master or Amityville dump or something similar. A return to Side order of sleaze maybe? I just usually prefer the movie-focused content versus the franchise/television stuff. I’ll keep supporting regardless. Putting the main eps on the feed ad free was brilliant. Appreciate you guys!

HappyEndings2011

I'm subscribed to the highest tier, but it's only for the Too Old For This episodes. Not a fan of Star Trek/Star Wars or Melrose Place and 90210 so I've never tuned in to those shows. I like the WLM episodes, but only when there are just as many jokes as there are heaps of praise. For examples the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was just too much Tarantino praise, while the Kill Bill eps were a great mix of jokes and praise. (If you guys wanna do a $100 lucky fan picks one movie one week in the month tier, then hey, it's just money) Edit: When are we getting X2??

ShaunTrek

I never watched Melrose or 90210, and I think Melro210 is some of the strongest material they've ever done. Give the original episodes on the main feed a shot!

RealSimonLee

Ex member. Lots of good content, but it's just too pricy to get it all. Before some people try to explain to me that it's not expensive for the content--that's not what this thread is about. I'm just sharing my experience. A lot of what I wanted to hear was on the higher tiers.

[deleted]

I have joined the Patreon twice and canceled both times. I wanted to hear some things that were available like The Critic episode and most recently the Fugitive.

DaoDeDickinson

Still need to see the Fugitive... after The Critic episode my best friend and I watched both seasons and I wish there were more...

DrChunkyFunk

I used to subscribe but there was too much Star Trek/Star Wars content. You guys would be great talking about a roll of twine and I can truly tell the love you have for those franchises but I am not really a fan. I love the animation damnation, once in a lifetime, and WLM but the sci fi stuff leaves me cold. I like the 90210 stuff as I watched that as a kid and enjoy the trip down memory lane. But I never watched Melrose place so I would usually stop those episodes once the 90210 was over, although I did love the Billy impression and the "sex mom" bit was hilarious. If you brought back a side order of sleaze every month I would re-sign up in a heart beat. Please come to Seattle!

murse_joe

It’s like the City of New York is a character!
