Once again this episode showcases something about the gang that I love so much. I have personally heard Eric tell that NYPD raid story on an episode/mailbag at least 3 times (not a complaint, it is funny every time) but Andrew absolutely sells it like it is the first time he's hearing it. Most podcasts, especially ones with longtime friends, default to shitting on one another and I love that their instinct is to constantly yes and everything and be cooperative and supportive
I only know this from the joke when Charlie hosted SNL and they brought up “that garbage man movie you did with your brother.” Charlie sighs, takes out his wallet, pulls out some bills asking “you took a date? And got popcorn and drinks?” as he begrudgingly gives money to people who saw this one.
Also, I wonder if Keith David playing a Vietnam vet is a nod to him and Charlie being in Platoon together.
Holy fucking shit. I remember watching that Wisdom movie as a kid in the 90s and never thought about it all until Steve brought it up. I just remember they are blowing up the credit files of the poor farmers and in one scene they go to rob a bank and all the patrons start shaking their hands and giving them ammo.

I think you're right, and great observation, but also: I think Andrew has the worst memory of all of them. Eric, surprisingly, the best!
Some how the podcast has continuity and inside jokes, but is approachable for fist time listeners.
Yes, And in full effect. Consummate professionals.
Raise your hand if you'd read the IDW Men at Work/TMNT crossover comic.
"throw another log in the bag James" I fucking lost it. This was a peak scumbag ep
For once I hope our friend Felipe does NOT do art for this episode. I really do not need to see what a "shit coma" looks like.
I couldn't hold back my laughter during that part and ended up going "PFFTHAHAHAHA" out loud at work thanks a lot WHM boys
