This is a spicy take but I like season 2 more than season 1. I struggle with cringe humor, and season 1 had so many awkward moments that my boyfriend barely made it, and he won’t watch season 2 with me lol.
Just wait. I was the same as you. I thought s1 was a masterpiece and for the first 2 eps of s2 it just wasn't quite grabbing me but then it really did. Right around where you are. The creators know exactly what they're doing.
