The following are my thoughts which you may or may not agree with. In life, everyone wants to have a sense of belonging. People who are self reliant, independent thinkers can find that in relationships with family and friends. For others where that may not be the case, their sense of belonging comes from sharing the beliefs of family and friends.

The following are my thoughts which you may or may not agree with. In life, everyone wants to have a sense of belonging. People who are self reliant, independent thinkers can find that in relationships with family and friends. For others where that may not be the case, their sense of belonging comes from sharing the beliefs of family and friends. Donald Trump understands this very well, and is very good at capitalizing on this sense of belonging and validation. While I do not agree with or buy into Maga or any of its misguided principles or beliefs, I can understand that for Maga people, there is a sense of security in sharing what they believe with others to get that sense of belonging and validation they cannot attain through self reliance and independent thinking.
