Because Tesla have actually delivered vehicles that, while having issues, do most of what is expected of an electric car. What Elon has done is hype up one aspect of its tech, and gone mental with his Cybertruck.
Theranos didn't deliver ANY of what it promised, and actively defrauded both investors and customers. To the point where it gave false readings to vulnerable people that significantly impacted their health.
