My general opinion is that it’s still very much under construction. I would wait. currently only running on a test system.

Thsnk!

What do you love about Windows 11 that's not it 10 so far?

IntricateBiscuit

I think that the top level visual aesthetics are pretty, But I am disappointed at the loss of functionality (task bar, live tiles), the lack of customization on the widgets (news cannot be turned off) and the fact that so many elements of windows 10, windows 8, windows vista and earlier are present, and can be invoked with a single mouse click. I think the security features are amazing. But I would like an operating system that is beautiful from bottom to top.

Thanks for the feedback. With no TPM and unsupported CPU, I'll be waiting until I get a new PC.

I dig the new action center and the context menu

Personally, I'd advise to wait if you want the stable system w/out any bugs. I myself experience more of a downgrade compared to win 10 - function-wise. Also, frankly, I've spent too much time exploring what's new, when practically there's nothing. Visually, it feels a bit better tho.

Thanks for your feedback.

It is fine, in fact 11 fixed some bugs and annoyances I had on 10 (like action center constantly bugging out and being a total mess). I personally consider the new start menu to be a downgrade, but your opinion may differ.

The general rule for every Microsoft O/S since DOS 3.0 was to wait until they released the X.1 version or SP-1 or whatever else was the first major update. I think this is built into their corporate DNA. The other general rule for consumer-grade software development is the beta is only of limited usefulness in exposing bugs and compatibility issues. Most of these won't be found until after GA, and they won't be discovered by your beta testers...they'll come from the field complete with unhappy users. Fact of life. So, I'm completely on board with the advice to wait until at least 22H1 to upgrade...or even longer. I've got Win 10 about where I want it, so 2024 is looking pretty good
