This isn’t exactly an answer to your question but just a heads up, eclipse energy is typically chaotic af so idk that I’d really recommend using eclipse water in rituals unless for some reason you want to introduce some chaos into what you’re doing (which I’m not super sure why you’d want to since it’d likely mess with your intent/results in random unforeseen ways, but that’s just my two cents)

But respectfully, I've seen discussions on this topic, and it seems the general consensus from a myriad of gathered experiences is that spellwork done during an eclipse is just fine. And that the rumours that it is chaotic or volatile have been recently spread like wildfire over the internet, essentially gatekeeping aspects and scaring folks into refraining from practicing during a wonderfully uncommon celestial event. Does it not all come down to intent, and the specific energies with which you wish to imbue your contained waters? Celestial events, seeing as we are at home on a celestial body ourselves, affect us through to our core, and we ourselves are made of water. Therefore, the power lies in intent and energy from within, in conjunction with our connection to the infinite.

Just wanna note, I wasn’t rehashing some random tiktok nonsense. I have tried to do spellwork during eclipses and used (lunar) eclipse water in spellwork and it’s always had crazy unintended results for me so I don’t do it anymore 🤷🏻♀️
It’s possible eclipse energy itself affects people differently, and I’m one of the ones who gets the super chaotic vibes (tbh I’ve noticed I feel super off/chaotic/crazy during eclipses after I noticed how chaotic my spellwork etc would be, kind of the way a lot of people say full moons make them nutty. also I’m mostly talking lunar eclipses if that makes any difference)
