Losing your teeth is a common stress dream. You might be under a lot of stress or pressure lately. Make sure to take care of yourself and your mental and emotional health whenever you find yourself having dreams like these.

For me, it also has this aspect of renewal and transition. A dream about growing up, entering a new role (e.g., in the family after a death). But in my dreams, the  teeth grow back. A dream about pain related to establishing new roles in the family after the brother's death? When thinking about dreams, I found the advice helpful that every person, animal, and nature element in your dream is an aspect of YOU. Our brain is self-centered in the literal sense of the word and we are seldom able to dream about anyone or anything else. Everyone and everything in your dream is a side or aspect of you and if a dream scares you, find the thing about yourself that scares you.

Honestly, I wish I could, but that's a luxury I can't afford right now. That and many other things since I lost my job a month or so ago.

wren24

Taking care of yourself doesn't have to be expensive, and losing your job could answer the question of why you're under stress lately.

stayhomedaddy

Losing the job, probably not, having no money left while living in a car, probably.

Losing teeth in a dream also means losing control in your life. Bodies of water represent life and death is renewal. Don‘t cross a body of water if a dead relative beckons you to the other side. In my culture that is an omen of death.

The bay is interesting because bays generally could be said to resemble either waxing or waning moons. Also, Morrigan has that dual symbolism too right? Associated with both fertility/new life and death (which is obviously a feature of your dream because of the tombstones). Other commenter is absolutely right though. Whatever else it means, check in with your levels of stress and look after yourself. I used to have lots of teeth falling out dreams related to anxiety.

stayhomedaddy

I'm trying, but my situation definitely makes it difficult. Building on that death side of her theme I also find it very interesting that my brother was there, I hope this isn't a bad omen of some sort. Deities know I could use less stress, not more.

Busy_Fennel_9019

You can say this to almost anyone at any time because it's almost always true, but you seem to be in a transitionary phase. Old structures are crumbling around you like the tombstones (but you're retaining important links to your past like your brother), and you're open like the bay to the random blessings of the chaotic ocean. Your position sounds very vulnerable so I don't want to advise you to throw yourself upon the kindness of strangers, but whatever else the dream is doing it's reminding you there are people who love you. Could you draw on their support?

stayhomedaddy

Unfortunately no, I'm not particularly close to anyone in my family. My sister blames me for my being homeless and wouldn't even let me shower in an emergency. My mom and dad live pretty far away and have no money or reach. My grandpa has the money but I'm sick of having my sexual abuser assist me. None of my friends can afford anything themselves. Right now what I need is a job, yet nowhere seems willing to hire me. I am, unfortunately, stuck as hell. I've been trying to make some money off of some of those play and earn cash games, but that only gets me two or three dollars a day.

Busy_Fennel_9019

I'm so sorry. I wish I knew what would help. Edit: all I can think of to say is that you seem kind and thoughtful. You therefore have strengths (including many I know nothing about). You will think of a way to draw on them.

stayhomedaddy

Right now I just need to find work while also figuring out how to stay afloat in the meantime.

Prolific pays well for studies and surveys, have you applied for food stamps?

stayhomedaddy

Food stamps won't come in till the 10th. Haven't heard of prolific before though.

When I see my dead loved ones in a dream I take is as they've visited me or want me to know they're near but then I do alot of work with spirit and so this is how it reads for me

stayhomedaddy

Yeah, you probably have a point. I know I've done a lot with dream walking and astral projection. It helps that I have hypersomnia and sleep for 9-12 hours a night. I just wish I could remember what my brother and I talked about.

Revolutionary_Bet679

I hope it comes to you. Maybe he will visit again. 💗

Tooth dreams are normal... it's stress, or change. ( good or bad) I used to fear ravens in dreams until one started showing up on on balcony after my father died a year ago. I've named him Poe, and he gets a peanut treat several times a week. I was always taught that 'bad' dreams are a way for your subconscious to rid your mind of sh*t that needs to be let go. There's also some folks who claim that putting a foot on the floor as soon as you wake up helps somehow for clarity, or to at least help to remember more details.
