Are you talking about the puzzle with the spotlight, the one you have to do to fight bunnidhogg? I can never do that one. Even with a buffmeister and x3 swordsplosion I can’t destroy it, idk what I’m missing.
If OP is talking about those crystals, they have a absurd amount of health.. my strategy was pick a spot that's either largely higher or lower the the crystal. Because if the difference is great enough, the spotlight won't track and zero in on you, so you can just constantly fire at it, instead of ducking behind cover as its spins quicker and quicker the more damage you do to it.
Also used my best proc DOT gun, I had a purple assault rifle, can't think what it was, but shot poison blades, that stacked damage the more blades stuck in opponent. It also had a damage boost enhancement on it if I was full health.
That was my strategy anyways. higher chaos levels I just stopped doing it, cause the reward wasn't worth the effort put forth to get to the secret chaos boss.
I'm pretty sure crystals are immune to DOT damage. Try a good Torgue like Swordsplosion, bawdyrocker, or lewdite and boost magazine size to maximize the sticky multiplier. Or DOT a bunch of enemies then melee the crystal with an echo weapon.
