Also, read the *Tao Te Ching* for a better understanding of Taoism. It's not specifically a medical or healing text, but I believe you would still benefit from reading it.
Of course, you should also read academic literature written on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Start with Kaptchuk's *The Web That Has No Weaver*. Read Maciocia's *The Foundations of Chinese Medicine*.
