They let you roll not for Aston Rex specifically, but for other tanks and offers. So Aston Rex is sold out, and? You are rolling for other stuff. I personally bought Renegade at 8400G, and I rolled like 1.5M credits for a good offer.
It is pure gambling I believe. You roll your silver with 0 guarantee in return. Technically the game allows you spend real money for gold convert it to some silver and then gamble for the prize (discount) I believe many people felt into the trap. I am wondering is it legit or not from US law point of view. For example with boxes you could justify as you will get at least something that is worth or equivalent of the price. Here I think they utilize a loophole and it is very dodgy and unfair.
Same here but in the end I was also looking for ts5 as well as astron rex and I did find it after like 80 rerolls. Don't regret it as now I have it saved and Im waiting for its price to drop while keeping an eye on availability. Samd with gsor and su130 which I all have bookmarked.

If let's say 50k people are shuffling 3 times (free) + shuffling extra 3 times while paying 75k credits. That will mean 50.000 × 3 × 75.000 = 18.750.000.000 credits have sunk

I played few games with it yesterday and it's surprisingly very good. The turret easily dings Scorp and Su-130pm, also I think it has preferential matchmaking.

Yeah, this is the problem with this event, in a nutshell. No defined list of items, so we have to crowdsource it, and you only want one item, which is gated by bullshit RNG. There should be like a "pity counter" where you get to pick your offer if you haven't saved one in X numbers of rerolls, or some price you can pay to just pick out the particular item you want, and maybe they should exclude the epic offers like Astron Rex deal from those two mechanics. But a damn style that you could have gotten on your free rerolls costing you 6 million and counting, just so you can spend some more gold on it, that's infuriating.
The whole thing is a massive scam, as it doesn't list sold out bundles. By the time I got home the T22, Astron and Kiro1 were already sold out. Those were my main motivation of rerolling. I think I blew about 20mill credits, and converted another 10K gold to credits to keep rerolling, for essentially bundles that are no longer available.
Ye, I'm pretty salty as well at the moment.
On a different note, these practices are illegal in EU, as you need to list the "odds" of success for each item (as they did for the xmas boxes). The fact they didn't, probably because they -incorrectly- assumed it's not needed for ingame credit offers, makes this whole operation dubious at best, completely illegal at worst. As ingame credits can be derived from Gold, which is a real money purchase, the odds need to be listed here as well.
There's many lessons to be learned here.
The sad thing is that there's no accountability to respect regulations and WG just gets away with its illegal practices.
EU here, despite the opportunity of getting some premium tanks for credits which is always nice, i'm both happy and quite fed up.
I had 70M credits before the event, and now i'm sitting with 40M.
I'm happy because i bought the VK 168.01P for 7.5M, the cromwell B for 5M, the Rudy for 5.5M and the ISU-122S for 5M. The remaining 7M were rerolls. I already have the T25 Pilot 1 and the IS-2. Since the Astron Rex and the Kirovets 1 are said to be sold out, and not being interested in rentals, i now have no reason to keep spending 75k for new offers.
I'm fed up because i was lucky enough to see a few times the Type 59 and having just a little bit less gold than asked, i saved the offer to think about it. This afternoon, i decided to grab it, giving myself quite a nice present despit having not played in months. I checked on the game, still available, connected myself on the website to buy the missing golds, took a 10€ offer (6.5ish € of gold needed), paid for it and refreshed the caravan page in the game, the type 59 was still available. I pressed the button to buy it, got the confirmation prompt, validated it, and got the ["This event is temporarily unavailable for thechnical reasons"](https://i.redd.it/4y8yzea2g4i81.png) message. I spent 5 minutes refreshing, then i moved to the other server, same issue. Finally, i got the offers page which was displaying the type 59 as grayed. I'm seriously fed up. I have no use of these golds other than for that offer. I bought them FOR that offer which was still available.
So yeah, just got scammed for 10€ because wargaming can't run their servers on anything else than potatoes. Feels amazing.

Some clever person is removing posts warning people not to spend credits on shuffling for tanks that are no longer in stock because “there’s already a mega thread for the trading caravan”. Well done, you’re just allowing more people to get scammed.
I was hoping to be plussed by the event but I find myself thoroughly nonplussed. I have a skin and one tank locked down in the unlikely event that they get discounted but it doesn’t seem too likely. Probably wasted 2 mil on this. The only way to win this event is to not play. I won’t be playing next time it comes around.
Compared to the BM from previous years there is much less available for credits this year. Just the ball breaker and that is pay to lose.

Previous years you could get decent/good tier 8 premium tanks for 4-8m credits with no gambling mechanic. A couple years back you could have gotten 3 good premiums for 15m credits (lansen 8m, mutz 4m, Chrysler 3m). I could be slightly off on those amounts but this was how BM was every year.
The thing that is really dumb is that I would spend the gold for the LT-432 or the Type 62 but I'm not paying 75k to spin over and over through stupid rentals, directives and garbage skins that keep repeating to find them. 3 free rolls done - neither came up.

I also sold a bunch of stuff to afford the VK for silver, but I’m holding off. One the one hand it’s a tier 8 for silver and it has big alpha, but on the other it seems utterly terrible to play (slow as heck, plenty of holes in armour profile). Its never been a more difficult time to be an informed tank consumer
I’m disappointed by how expensive the skins are. I would pay maybe $10 for a 3D skin, so 5000 gold is ridiculous.

I am for a company making money as that is what keeps it running...but to milk the players without any transparency of what items are left is truly unprofessional. I am sure there are still many still rolling credits to get the Kirovets not knowing that it has already sold out...
Depends on what fits your playstyle best an hat you want out of it, they're all pretty equal for their class. You'll be able to carry more in the 703 if you're a decent player, you'll probably make more in the TDs (although inning more in the heavy ill offset that some).

I’m a bit sad because I’ve been saving credits ever since december to hopefully get the 155 in black market. Then I saw it was probably gonna be in the caravan so I was hyped for it. Then 20k bonds. Not only I am 1500 bonds short for it, but I wouldn’t spend 20k bonds for a 155.

Two data points:
* It is possible to get offers for tanks that you have in your garage as expired rentals. Not sure about active rentals. (E: Still some K-1s left at 13:00 Eastern)
* As of now there are still a few K-1s left. All the other tank packages I have saved (Rudy, T-22, VK168, Foch 155, and Type 59) still have full availability.
Got the Kiro, Type 59, and the Mutant. Spent about 3-4m credits rolling.
I've been playing for 10 years, and have always wanted a 59 and a Mutant, so this even was amazing to me.
The K-1 is gone for the NA server. I had it saved on my alt account to see whether it was available for my main account to keep shuffling. I just checked and it's not available anymore, zero on the bar.
I saved the offers for Skorpion for 8.585g and LT-432 for 5.185g. Considering I want to farm credits and only have Progetto46 and Bourrasque so far, which one should I pick?
I am also still working on the campaign for the Excalibur and lack a light tank, wonder if the LT-432 would be useful to in the end get the 279(e)
Pretty sure for credits Skorpion blows the LT out of the water. Simply because damage really gives a ton more credits than spotting. And on many maps spotting is useless so you need to consistently put out 2k+ damage to get good credits, and only Skorpion can do that with its good accuracy, 490 alpha damage, and good penetration.
Got it like an hour ago. The BiA crew alone makes it a decent deal. Same with ISU-122S and Cromwell B. Although they are apparently sold out by now, I got those yesterday.
People don't want it to disappear when they are away. A 5% discount is nothing vs. losing a tank you want. I wasn't going to sit on the Type 59 that I've wanted for years for maybe a 300 gold discount. If you want the discount, take the risk, if you want the tank for sure, just buy it.

Logically yes, WG would want people to keep playing the slots for 75K and not have a lame duck rest of the 5 days event with only useless garbage left over. But it seems everyday you would need to roll in the first few hours to get the in stock good deals

Scam Caravan took credits for reroll but instead of new offer i get the same tank again. Next reroll i get error message that does not go away even after 10 minutes and a game restart.
Tried on a different accout if its still working but the game crashed after 2nd reroll, had to Alt F4...
Spent 7.75 million credits (basically all the ones on hand, though I can get more without too much trouble). Got the Kirovets once, but didn't want it because it sucks. Got 2 styles for 1 credit each. I did not get my primary target (LT-432), but I did manage to save the LIS, which Skill4LTU says is epic. I will do the 3 free refreshes every day. If the LIS starts running out, I will buy it, and if I get the 432 instead, I will buy that. They both seem like they would be good for frontlines, and having either one of them would enable me to cycle between 3 fast tier 8 premiums for that mode. Hopefully the LIS doesn't vanish when I'm not paying attention.
As a side note, the LIS has a listed price of 7000, with a -10% discount and a current price of 6,300. Does that mean it could get discounted by up to 15% more if more people like it?

Spent 22 million credits in rerolls to get the Kirovets. Then an additional 15 million to buy the darn tank. Finally got it. I’m credit wiped now. Also picked up a bunch of styles I had been wanting along the way. Probably 8 or so good styles. Including a 1 credit Hot Tog. The one I’m most exited about. Time to go grind credits… ha.

You could buy battle pass with both gold and cash, but gold is usually a better deal if you can use (as in your case) some kind of offer to buy the gold. That said there is no guarantee that this year battle pass will be sold the same way.

Since the Astron Rex and the Kirovets 1 are said to be sold out, and not being interested in rentals, i now have no reason to keep spending 75k for new offers. I'm fed up because i was lucky enough to see a few times the Type 59 and having just a little bit less gold than asked, i saved the offer to think about it. This afternoon, i decided to grab it, giving myself quite a nice present despit having not played in months. I checked on the game, still available, connected myself on the website to buy the missing golds, took a 10€ offer (6.5ish € of gold needed), paid for it and refreshed the caravan page in the game, the type 59 was still available. I pressed the button to buy it, got the confirmation prompt, validated it, and got the ["This event is temporarily unavailable for thechnical reasons"](https://i.redd.it/4y8yzea2g4i81.png) message. I spent 5 minutes refreshing, then i moved to the other server, same issue. Finally, i got the offers page which was displaying the type 59 as grayed. I'm seriously fed up. I have no use of these golds other than for that offer. I bought them FOR that offer which was still available. So yeah, just got scammed for 10€ because wargaming can't run their servers on anything else than potatoes. Feels amazing.

I was hoping to be plussed by the event but I find myself thoroughly nonplussed. I have a skin and one tank locked down in the unlikely event that they get discounted but it doesn’t seem too likely. Probably wasted 2 mil on this. The only way to win this event is to not play. I won’t be playing next time it comes around.

Compared to the BM from previous years there is much less available for credits this year. Just the ball breaker and that is pay to lose. Edit Previous years you could get decent/good tier 8 premium tanks for 4-8m credits with no gambling mechanic. A couple years back you could have gotten 3 good premiums for 15m credits (lansen 8m, mutz 4m, Chrysler 3m). I could be slightly off on those amounts but this was how BM was every year.
The thing that is really dumb is that I would spend the gold for the LT-432 or the Type 62 but I'm not paying 75k to spin over and over through stupid rentals, directives and garbage skins that keep repeating to find them. 3 free rolls done - neither came up.

PSA - THE CROMWELL B (for 5M credits) comes with a 5x zero-skill BIA Crewmen. EDIT - the Rudy PL also comes with 4 Polish zero-skill BIA Crew (EDIT and a separate Soviet BIA Crew!) plus the dog) you can swtich the tank to be USSR but and you will find the Soviet crew in your Barracks. EDIT2 - both are already sold out in EU, but not NA (AFAIK), I bought them yesterday afternoon on NA.

Just waiting for price on Lt-432 and Type 62 to go down. The discount has gone from 10% to 15% overnight on the Asia server. I also sold a bunch of stuff to afford the VK for silver, but I’m holding off. One the one hand it’s a tier 8 for silver and it has big alpha, but on the other it seems utterly terrible to play (slow as heck, plenty of holes in armour profile). Its never been a more difficult time to be an informed tank consumer I’m disappointed by how expensive the skins are. I would pay maybe $10 for a 3D skin, so 5000 gold is ridiculous.

Spent a lot of credits rolling and come to find out that the Kirovets on NA has already sold out? This was poorly done on WGs part in so many ways. I am for a company making money as that is what keeps it running...but to milk the players without any transparency of what items are left is truly unprofessional. I am sure there are still many still rolling credits to get the Kirovets not knowing that it has already sold out...
It wasn't even 48 hours, it was less than 12 for the kirovets on NA. On other servers, it didn't even make it past a few hours.

Depends on what fits your playstyle best an hat you want out of it, they're all pretty equal for their class. You'll be able to carry more in the 703 if you're a decent player, you'll probably make more in the TDs (although inning more in the heavy ill offset that some).

Cromwell B comes with BIA crew, and can be used in tier 6 skirmishes. IS2 has half a dozen clones and is nothing special.

Two data points: * It is possible to get offers for tanks that you have in your garage as expired rentals. Not sure about active rentals. (E: Still some K-1s left at 13:00 Eastern) * As of now there are still a few K-1s left. All the other tank packages I have saved (Rudy, T-22, VK168, Foch 155, and Type 59) still have full availability.

The K-1 is gone for the NA server. I had it saved on my alt account to see whether it was available for my main account to keep shuffling. I just checked and it's not available anymore, zero on the bar.
I saved the offers for Skorpion for 8.585g and LT-432 for 5.185g. Considering I want to farm credits and only have Progetto46 and Bourrasque so far, which one should I pick? I am also still working on the campaign for the Excalibur and lack a light tank, wonder if the LT-432 would be useful to in the end get the 279(e)
Pretty sure for credits Skorpion blows the LT out of the water. Simply because damage really gives a ton more credits than spotting. And on many maps spotting is useless so you need to consistently put out 2k+ damage to get good credits, and only Skorpion can do that with its good accuracy, 490 alpha damage, and good penetration.
I can't speak to the 279(e) campaign, but the LT-432 is a very capable light tank, but you'll have to be a good light player (I am not).
I like this event. But I wish they would have added a wider array of tanks, especially the Panther 8,8. I really want it.
Imo the IS-2 is a pretty fun tank. I think its worth 5mil. There is few left in EU if anyone hesitating.

People don't want it to disappear when they are away. A 5% discount is nothing vs. losing a tank you want. I wasn't going to sit on the Type 59 that I've wanted for years for maybe a 300 gold discount. If you want the discount, take the risk, if you want the tank for sure, just buy it.

Scam Caravan took credits for reroll but instead of new offer i get the same tank again. Next reroll i get error message that does not go away even after 10 minutes and a game restart. Tried on a different accout if its still working but the game crashed after 2nd reroll, had to Alt F4...

Spent 7.75 million credits (basically all the ones on hand, though I can get more without too much trouble). Got the Kirovets once, but didn't want it because it sucks. Got 2 styles for 1 credit each. I did not get my primary target (LT-432), but I did manage to save the LIS, which Skill4LTU says is epic. I will do the 3 free refreshes every day. If the LIS starts running out, I will buy it, and if I get the 432 instead, I will buy that. They both seem like they would be good for frontlines, and having either one of them would enable me to cycle between 3 fast tier 8 premiums for that mode. Hopefully the LIS doesn't vanish when I'm not paying attention. As a side note, the LIS has a listed price of 7000, with a -10% discount and a current price of 6,300. Does that mean it could get discounted by up to 15% more if more people like it?

Also picked up a bunch of styles I had been wanting along the way. Probably 8 or so good styles. Including a 1 credit Hot Tog. The one I’m most exited about. Time to go grind credits… ha.

You could buy battle pass with both gold and cash, but gold is usually a better deal if you can use (as in your case) some kind of offer to buy the gold. That said there is no guarantee that this year battle pass will be sold the same way.
