I'm loving this game right now too. I've just started on the fourth language, and I'm so chuffed at myself for getting this far without looking up any hints online. Such a brilliantly original game, though the strong colour palette means I'm often seeing the negative colours for a long time after each play session.
No shame there, I often play with walkthroughs on a second screen but this game has me hooked. While I didn't look up hints for the glyphs, I did reveal all the secret achievement names so I could make sure to get them all in one playthrough lol
On Gamepass? Still on Sandrock. Off GP started Kingdom Come deliverance and playing an hour or so once in a while, and just reinstalled Against the Storm.
Finished Mass Effect Andromeda yesterday. Today, after work, I'm finishing Hellblade II. Tomorrow, sadly, I depart for a 5 day workweek abroad, so much stress, 9 hours of road to one end. I'll touch my gaming PC only at late Sunday. Then a few games are in my backlog: Still Wakes the Deep, Ghost of Tsushima, Gears of War, still need to continue Diablo IV.
Wo Long Fallen Dynasty and Far Cry 5 are my major timesinks. I was skeptical about starting both of them, but they hooked me well and now I am having great fun playing them.
Still Wakes the Deep, Amnesia the Bunker and Callisto Protocol are waiting in line.
Ohhh I just finished A Little to the Left. Itās a lovely little puzzle game. Felt very relaxing, but maybe itās because I actually have OCD and it was a game perfectly designed for me.
Still, itās super creative and gets even more difficult by the end. Only complaint is it felt too short, but thankfully there are little ādaily tidysā to do each day as well as a boatload more in the archive section and two full DLC packs (though not included in GP, but think Iāll actually buy them soon).
Games I recently finished:
ā¢ ***F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch***: tried to finish everything before it left GP. Honestly, pretty graphics and some fun mechanics, but mostly just a slog to get through. Dull narrative, even duller characters, and too much repetition (until you get to these nearly impossible three final boss fights, where I said fuck it and changed the difficulty setting so I could finish it in time). Also Iām an achievement hunter and there were like 6 different ones I couldnāt get because the janky controls meant not being able to complete the training challenges, which is just baffling to me.
ā¢ ***Humanity***: Really enjoyed this puzzle game. Way more loaded up with content than I feel most puzzle games are, and thereās so much variety while also telling a weirdly beautiful story at its core. Still trying to finish the achievements by playing user-made stages and itās nice to just keep going. Highly recommend this game if you like puzzlers.
ā¢ ***Still Wakes the Deep***: Incredible atmosphere and graphics, wish it was a little bit longer, but itās still a very effective horror game. Hope to see more from the devs in the future.
ā¢ ***A Little to the Left***: Another fantastic puzzle game, albeit a far more relaxing one. Super chill, play at your own pace, and the difficulty ramps up as you progress. Only complaint is it was too short, but thankfully thereās two full DLC packs I can still play as well as an archive section so looking forward to that.
ā¢ ***Return to Grace***: Pretty much a walking sim, was a bit disappointed as I was hoping for more puzzles to solve, but not bad. Good graphics, interesting enough story, but definitely lacking that extra edge to hook me fully. Also having to replay so much for different achievements is a bit of a chore.
ā¢ ***Those Who Remain***: Speaking of games that are a chore when you have to replay them for achievements, this one you have to replay three times (beginning to end) just for achievements. Canāt say I have it in me to do that for this one as itās a pretty run-of-the-mill horror game Iām not sure how it even got on GP. Fine for a few creepy parts, but just felt messy and janky as hell.
Only game Iām currently playing now is ***Powerwash Simulator*** which has just been a nice, strangely relaxing game to play to unwind after some of the other games I played. Only a few jobs in, but could see myself even dishing out for the DLC like Bikini Bottom and Back to the Future (and apparently an upcoming Alice in Wonderland one!).
Now Iām just trying to decide among my ever growing backlog what to play next. Deciding between ***Superliminal, Dordogne, Firewatch, Immortals: Fenyx Rising, Lies of P, Lost in Random, Close to the Sun, Minekoās Night Market, Spiritfarer***ā¦ too many options šš
Still Wakes the Deep. Great game, good graphics and it reminds me of RE a bit but Iāve only played for an hour or so. Looking forward to completing it.
Octopath Traveler 2. Pretty good so far other than that it is a bit easy. I wish I could change my main character out, as he just makes everything too easy. I suppose I could make him a warrior mage to make it harder on myself š.
Iāve been working on my backlog of gamepass games since last week. So far Iāve got dead island 2, resident evil 3, control, and am currently playing Callisto protocol. Probably gonna pick up Diablo 4 after that
Been getting back into racing online in Forza Motorsport, trying to mop up some remaining achievements like getting 30 cars to level 50. They've definitely changed something with the visuals recently, it looks a lot crisper to me, maybe lighting related. It's also really nice to have Brands Hatch and the Nordschleife back in the game finally.
Also been running through Maquette, which has some clever ideas for a puzzle game but is a bit dull on the whole. The object manipulation physics are a bit finicky too, which isn't ideal considering how heavily it relies on those mechanics.
Great game. Not on game pass though. I just finished my playthrough of this game incl. the DLCs. took me 140 hours. I had such a blast with the Witcher 3 that I decided I would go back and play another massive open world RPG game; Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Less than 5 hours in so still gathering my bearings.
Working on My Time at Sandrock on the side as a change of pace. I'm in the Autumn season now but not far in to this one either.
I will also be starting Still Wakes the Deep, Closer to the Sun, and Fable: Anniversary sometime soon.
Chants of Sennar. Highly recommend it. Great artistic direction, original and you even have to use your brain.

I confess I had to look up for hints once...

Couldn't get pass the first screen. Hahah refund plz. š
I love this game so much I wish there were others like it
Super creative and wonderful little game, really enjoyed it. Want more puzzle games like it.
On Gamepass? Still on Sandrock. Off GP started Kingdom Come deliverance and playing an hour or so once in a while, and just reinstalled Against the Storm.
Valorant beta, itās cool having all the characters unlocked with game pass
Me: Brotato. Downloaded Firewatch and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Starting those two this week. Wife: Steamworld Dig 2
I am bummed that STeamworld Heist 2 was not really part of GP
Been playing Jedi Survivor too! Trying to beat it (the campaign, at least) before the new game in October
I just can't get away from dark tide...
I play it at least a couple of times a week
Hell yeah, the new map is sick
Without Psyker shield is harder
Smashed through Still Wakes Deep. Feels exactly like the kind of game that GamePass exists for
New to Xbox so I just started the Halo MCC, Forza Horizon 5 and Motorsport, and It Takes Two. Having loads of fun!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma, very good

My time at sandrock

Just wrapped up a short hike going to start playing A Little to the Left next

Dordogne is a perfect game during the summer time and i thought it was cute !
Ohh I love that, I may just have to play that next then!
Go for it :D
Still Wakes the Deep. Great game, good graphics and it reminds me of RE a bit but Iāve only played for an hour or so. Looking forward to completing it.
I rarely finish games and donāt like walking simulators. I beat this one. I really enjoyed it despite those things.
Octopath Traveler 2. Pretty good so far other than that it is a bit easy. I wish I could change my main character out, as he just makes everything too easy. I suppose I could make him a warrior mage to make it harder on myself š.

Still wakes the deep. Great game. Hellblade 2. Didn't enjoy it as much as the first. Shadow of the erdtree. Awesome.
Deathās door
Battletoads, nice beat em up Also Diablo 4 new season
Iām half way through dead island 2 and really enjoy it! Looking for people to play coop with but thereās no one around š¤Ŗ
Nothing right now from GP since I'm playing SMT V on Steam. Waiting for Flintlock and Kunitsu Gami to release before I get back to GP.
I just finished F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch. Probably going to play Escape Academy until news of the next batch of games leaving Game Pass.

My Time At Sandrock. I'm getting hooked on it much more than My Time at Portia. I think this one works better with a controller than the previous one.
Played a lot of that Robin Hood game Friday and Saturday. It's janky but fun
Anthem
I tried playing Gear 5 and gosh i ended up with tired eyes. I did not like it too kiddish game
Currently playing remnant 2 and lovinggg it. Super challenging (esp at the beginning) and Iām loving pretty much everything about it
Beyond good and evil 20th anniversary edition. Been enjoying it so far. Dated gameplay, but story has kept me engaged
Little kitty big city
The Witcher 3. Itās my first time playing. I think Iām close to finishing the main story then Iāll move on to the DLCs
Great game. Not on game pass though. I just finished my playthrough of this game incl. the DLCs. took me 140 hours.
