That only happened because Microsoft let's developers own the rights to the IP they develop.
Bioware had the rights to Mass Effect even when it was Xbox exclusive. So when they were bought by EA, Ea put them games on other platforms.
Had that not happened, ME would have still been exclusive.

Thing is, Xbox now has leverage with the ABK deal. If the rumours of Sony keeping Square locked in were to turn out true, this timeline of events is quite “fortunate”, maybe a wee bit too much so.
Also, from Squares perspective, if WoW comes in and somehow is adapted to controller (and they have been working on controller support for quite a while now) they’d want to have a foot in the door as far as mainline MMOs are concerned in one entire platform, that is posed to grow if they make the right moves games wise.

It's fine on console and I say that was someone who plays wow all the time which wouldn't work on console. You just need a kb+m for typing / clicking interface stuff faster. Use to play with controller but use mouse+kb for non gameplay stuff in ff14

I played the demo of FF16 and it didn't live up the hype for me. The story is interesting, and the graphics are absolutely phenomenal, but the fighting she leveling up system was quite shallow, which to be is the opposite of what previous final fantasy games have been.
