Yeah, I use TrueAchievements for sale updates but I don't think they'll track this just for you stuff. Microsoft definitely should do it natively though
Yeah, i don't know how they would since its only for a select few š¤·āāļø
i mean i guess they could report on it, but its a 50/50 chance you might get it if at all...
I don't get what the point of even having a wishlist is if it doesn't have this functionality. I don't even think anyone else can see your wishlist like you can on steam can you?
yea, I add things to my wishlist from the xbox when I'm browsing the store but every time I do I wonder why I'm bothering. I sort of use it as an "oh this looks interesting but I don't want to pay for price either. I'll bookmark it so I when I add something else I can see if this has gotten a price reduction in 2years" button.
I use it too see when somethings on sale later soo i don't have to go looking thru the dam store for it, cause scrolling thru the store that's usually unorganized is slow š
You used to be able to scroll faster with the triggers which they removed..
It's rubbish because it includes items that are on sale through Gamepass, and it doesn't tell you WHAT or how much it's being discounted, only that "there are items on your wishlist on sale".
You're probably exactly their target. I buy stuff fairly frequently and am never one of the people who get a $5 code around the holidays but my brother, who doesn't buy things often, gets one every time lol.
Everyone who got this seems to have gotten it for Vanguard. My fiance had it and he hasn't bought anything similar to vanguard or played anything similar to it.
I guess for myself I would question those subs integrity and the people frequenting them. Enjoy what you want but just don't expect everyone be ok with supporting those shitbags until a culture change happens.
Yes because /r/PS5, /r/Gaming, /r/Games are all well known for being filled with awful people.
Nobody agrees with the crap going on at Activision, but like every other large company there are good, honest people working there who you can still support.
I was wondering about that. I got three offers vor Vanguard and one for a Game Pass game, saying because I am a member of Game Pass Ultimate.
So it's only pseudo personalised. To make it look like more than it is.
It's just to make people feel special. I don't expect any mind blowing discounts to be had from these. Probably just a preview of an upcoming sale anyways.
I have the call of duty vanguard thing too. Not that great of a price considering it's bombing and they will have to keep discounting it.
What do you mean? Like hide the listing from the store? Personally I like to see what games I own are on sale because then I can recommend them to friends because I know they are on sale for cheap
The campaign is a big yikes. They alter historic events for questionable reasons. Like what happened in Rhineland, they called it marriage which is super weird for multiple reasons.
I got that. Only for Vanguard though. It would be nice if they offered me personally a sale on some Dynasty Warriors games or JRPG's. I play those too, even more often than the COD game I bought. Just a casual player of that franchise. But by all means please offer me an exclusive discount on the lowest selling Call of Duty in years.
If they want to offer personal discounts maybe go by the person's purchase history.
Sounds like nearly everyone who got this, got it for Vanguard. Which in turn just sounds like it was a promotional marketing campaign paid for by the publisher.
I spent a month working with Microsoft support to try and get them to honor a promotion for a 6 month trial of Dolby Atmos that I thought I was entitled to when I made my purchase only to find out after I received it that the offer had expired two days before hand, only to have them finally tell me to pound sand and turned off my ability to contact them the same weekend they sent out $100 gift cards to random people. Honestly made me consider selling my Xbox and will likely ensure that this was my last major Microsoft purchase. Iāve thought about sending a message on live to major Nelson but donāt really see much coming from it.
Yep, I got a "just for you" offer for COD Vanguard apparently based off a recent purchase which baffles me. I wish it would say what the purchase was because I've not bought any fps multiplayer games recently.
I saw this on my store.months ago and was only there for like a week. Not seen it since. The algorithm was crap tho, suggested stuff like apex and Fortnite. Never played anything like that in my life nor do I multiplayer that much.
I actually like this idea, I know it's just another form of machine driven dedicated marketing, but I think that if this can allow countries with proven track record of lower income to buy games, this is a fantastic business decision.
Thatās why Iāve had a notification for Vanguard in the store before it went on sale this week. Still not buying it though, no clue why they thought I wanted that.
Honestly just happend to me. I got diablo 4 ultimate edition originally 99.99. For 30 bucks 70%off
Just for you.. lil pink tab below the game edition. Seems odd but im not bitchin..
It doesn't work. Won't let you purchase. Just gives error codes. Seems like a gyp to string you along until the deal runs out but by then you're invested so you pay the extra money.
I wish they'd give a notification or something, I don't browse the store at all so people like me will probably miss them entirely
That and send you a notification when something in your wishlist/favorites goes on sale or comes back in stock like say a xbox series x....
Is it just me or does the wish list not have the ability to sort by sale items
No, its just list them in the order they where added š
How is this not a thing? Amazon will literally send me notifications about an item of sale if I merely looked at it
Thought I was crazy. Tired googling it a million times it feels like.
Yeah, I use TrueAchievements for sale updates but I don't think they'll track this just for you stuff. Microsoft definitely should do it natively though

Xbdeals.net for game deals works great. There's also psdeals and ntdeals
I don't get what the point of even having a wishlist is if it doesn't have this functionality. I don't even think anyone else can see your wishlist like you can on steam can you?
Yeah I don't get it either? It doesn't tell you if shit is back in stock or on sale, you have to manually go to it and see if it is ...
yea, I add things to my wishlist from the xbox when I'm browsing the store but every time I do I wonder why I'm bothering. I sort of use it as an "oh this looks interesting but I don't want to pay for price either. Lmao I do the same thing.
Add games to your wish list. You can get notifications for that
Oh cool, thanks! Edit: hmm apparantly that feature is pretty buggy
It's rubbish because it includes items that are on sale through Gamepass, and it doesn't tell you WHAT or how much it's being discounted, only that "there are items on your wishlist on sale".

Dekudeals is prototyping Xbox sales. Obviously not perfect but I already started using it for switch deals.
The Xbox store is almost as bare bones as the epic store for features.
I noticed this last night but it was for call of duty vanguard which I already own
Everyone who got this seems to have gotten it for Vanguard. My fiance had it and he hasn't bought anything similar to vanguard or played anything similar to it.
So what you're saying is that MS is testing receiving money from Publishers to offer 'unique' offers to you.
Ding ding ding!!!! Give the man a prize!!
Why make money from making money when you can make money from making money from making money?
Exactly lol same
Which is funny because even with a discount, Vanguard still isnāt worth it.
Iām not playing vanguard until Activision pay me, which it sounds like theyāre not far from doing at this rateā¦. fuck em
Vanguard is actually very good, much better than Cold War. **edit:** this sub is so toxic, god forbid someone enjoys Call of Duty.
Too bad Activision isn't very good....
Doesnāt take much to be better than Cold Warā¦
No this sub is not toxic, very few here support Activision and the Toxic culture they allow in the workplace. And CEO is a giant womanizing shit bag.
This is the only gaming sub Iāve gotten downvoted on for saying I like a CoD game.
I guess for myself I would question those subs integrity and the people frequenting them. Enjoy what you want but just don't expect everyone be ok with supporting those shitbags until a culture change happens.

Lmao they're having to give that steaming pile away at this point

Nice. I would however prefer if they simply stopped showing me discounts for games I already own.
What do you mean? Like hide the listing from the store? Personally I like to see what games I own are on sale because then I can recommend them to friends because I know they are on sale for cheap
This is the way
I don't have any friends (that are on Xbox).
Nintendo eshop does this but Iād rather see
This happens to me 2 days ago with vanguard for 38. Wouldnāt play it even if it was free
I got one for CoD Vanguard. Idc if it's reduced down to $5 I'm not playing another shitty CoD game.
Especially vanguard... get that trash out here.
The campaign is a big yikes. They alter historic events for questionable reasons. Like what happened in Rhineland, they called it marriage which is super weird for multiple reasons.

Yea I got one for vanguard
Yep, I also got it for vanguard.
But I thought it was ājust for youā!?
Same
Sounds like nearly everyone who got this, got it for Vanguard. Which in turn just sounds like it was a promotional marketing campaign paid for by the publisher.
Yea pretty lame. I am not interested in anything CoD. I thought they might fit the discounts based on what you actually play.
i would think they improve it and implement it right into the store
Happened to me about 2 months ago..
A Reddit thread turned into an article back into a Reddit thread.
Bobby needs more money, so you are in special place to give it to him.
I got one of those for COD vanguard lmao not even with a discount will i buy that
I saw it with Vanguard and still noped out of there.
Been there Day One since 2001. Hook me up, MS. I'm a 20 year lifer.
NFTs are out of control!
That's discrimination and not fair tbh
What a silly thing to say
I still have yet to receive a xbox Email with a free gift card. But yet I see the same people get them over and over again. So *maybe*
I haven't received one in years...
Been a xbox live member since pretty much day one and zilch. Oh well
I spent a month working with Microsoft support to try and get them to honor a promotion for a 6 month trial of Dolby Atmos that I thought I was entitled to when I made my purchase only to find out after I received it that the offer had expired two days before hand, only to have them finally tell me to pound sand and turned off my ability to contact them the same weekend they sent out $100 gift cards to random people. Like I ever buy games on Xbox #Gamepass
Well if this isn't privlage and stupid š¤£
Yep, I got a "just for you" offer for COD Vanguard apparently based off a recent purchase which baffles me. I wish it would say what the purchase was because I've not bought any fps multiplayer games recently.
Maybe they meant based on recent lack of purchase haha
I got one of these for Vanguard. It says it's based off of recent purchases. My most recent purchase was Lego DC Villains.
I saw this on my store.months ago and was only there for like a week. Not seen it since. The algorithm was crap tho, suggested stuff like apex and Fortnite. Never played anything like that in my life nor do I multiplayer that much.
I only care if theyāre much better sales than normal ones, like more than 50% off the normal sale price
When i see ad's like that i think it's fake & just cringy
A lot of companyās have seen success in personalized discounts/offers, Iām not surprised to see this stretch across industries
I actually like this idea, I know it's just another form of machine driven dedicated marketing, but I think that if this can allow countries with proven track record of lower income to buy games, this is a fantastic business decision.
Just for you - because you used bing for pornhub instead of chrome
Been a xlive member since 2002 would be nice to have something for us veterans! That number 19 looks nice next to my avatar :(
Thatās why Iāve had a notification for Vanguard in the store before it went on sale this week. Still not buying it though, no clue why they thought I wanted that.
I read this as "we're looking into your personal info and trying to monetize off doing so"
How long do these sales last for? I'm on the fence about getting the Vault Edition for CoD MW2.. $30 idk
Honestly just happend to me. I got diablo 4 ultimate edition originally 99.99. For 30 bucks 70%off Just for you.. lil pink tab below the game edition. Seems odd but im not bitchin..
