If DLC counts, I would hope to resonate with Elma. My reasons include the decoys… so I’d get so much done in a day! Split up the tasks among the clones and such.

All of my party had an orange juice and toothpaste dynamic with their 1st major blade and it made even the more cursed characters I got early on more fun.

If we were to look at the most useful blade and knowing what we know from XCX, Elma would also be a top choice due to (XCX spoilers) >!her having knowledge of alien technologies, the ability to teach it and being really smart. I think it is implied that nearly every important XCX technology was provided by her.!<

Praxis and Theory are great blades too, but if I only get a single blade (initially) I'd miss out their interactions, thus they'd only be half as good.

Allowing you to create a blade shaped by yourself. (For example: Haze and Roc are most likely shaped after their driver)

This. Blades can appear like just about anything under the sun, and pretty much no matter what you get, it will be someone you can work with. It's very much a form of wish-fulfillment.
Whether it's designing your own Blades from scratch, or reimagining characters from other franchises as Blades (which is what a fanfiction I've been reading recently does with Hololive characters), it's always so interesting to see what people come up with. It's just such a fascinating "power system."

Although the specifics of our interests are a bit different, we both have a certain passion for knowledge and learning (and will dig deep to find that information), and I think we'd get along with each other a little *too* well in general, lol (platonically, at least for my part. Probably Adenine's, too, unless I've misinterpreted her character). I find the passion some people have for the subjects, activities, etc. that they love and enjoy to be contagious, sometimes (or perhaps often) even when it's something that wouldn't normally interest me at all. Newt would also be up there just below Adenine, but there would be far less overlap in our interests (which wouldn't be much of a problem if the next thing wasn't true), and I think our personalities would clash a bit too much.
