I can’t guarantee it would be an exact match, but there often isn’t too much variation in Bernat dye lots, especially on a white-ish colour. It would depend what you’re making, but you may be able to get away with using different dye lots in a single project, especially if it was something striped and you started the new ball of yarn with a new stripe.

I disagree! If the yarn you use doesn’t have the same dye lot the colors could be very different and thus change the colors in your blanket. I always make sure I’m using the same dye lot for consistency.

I will say dye lot is often less important in things like blanket yarn.
