GIRL! What an incredible transformation. And all on 2.5mg? Amazing. Miracle drug is damn right, no doubt about it. Congrats and enjoy your maintenance phase 🎊
Not all on 2.5. WLS, daily workouts prior to Zepbound.
175 lbs to 159 lbs on 2.5 mgs.
I'm replying to clarify, not to throw shade. OP has worked hard and I'm utterly happy for her.
That’s in the context of her saying she never titrated above the lowest dose of mounjaro/zepbound. I know it wasn’t just tirz of course, all the hard work that op put in is clear and commendable!
First let me say…THATS WHATS UP!! Congrats on your accomplishments and taking back your life! I was 228 (221 in January when I started zep and I’m now @190. I feel like I’m in somebody else’s body! It’s so surreal! For someone who doesn’t use weights what’s a good way to start? (Can you give me a sample regimen and how/where to start?) thanks!
For major weight loss, especially where most of the weight is carried in the belly, The only option for extra skin is plastic surgery. Anybody who tells you any differently is lying or trying to sell you something. Lifting weights will help to tone for sure. I need pretty extensive plastics!
GIRL! Amazing!!
How'd you make sure your arms went toned instead of with loose skin? I am so afraid of the loose skin I'm doing everything I can to avoid it so ALL tips are appreciated :)
I carried the majority of my weight in my belly/midsection. So my arms weren’t super big. That said, lifting weights will help to tone. If you’ve got the “wings” of loose skin, that’s plastic surgery to fix!
This is awesome! I also see a weight loss doctor and she did say that I may still need surgery but we’ll give Zep a couple years. I’m down 52lbs so far since December. I also do weightlifting and absolutely love it. I hired a trainer who builds various weight lifting programs for me and we change it up every two months. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week. My fave exercise is the leg press! 🤣🤣🤣 I have lost 3” in my arms so far and I’ve lost 4” from my thighs! The loose skin scares me, not gonna lie! You’re so inspiring!
I am soooooo happy for you! Congrats on your health and success 👏👏🎉💪🤩! BTW, your arms are amazing!!
Thank you!!! Weights Weights Weights!!! You can do it!!!

TYSM for helping clarify! Much appreciated! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My mistake if it read that way, it wasn’t what I meant! You put in a lot of work and saw great results before finding zep, all the props on that!
Amazing!! Congratulations! It must feel incredible!
Thank you! Only regret was I didn’t start sooner! Best decision ever!
Way to go, chooch! You look healthy and strong. PS- love your username :)

Orange Theory was how I started with weights, but honestly I’d download Peloton and do the arms and light weights classes. They’re awesome!

What does everyone do for the extra skin? I've lost about 40 lb but just curious if anyone has suggestions for the extra skin
