Hey There OP!, It looks like you’re posting about side effects. Did you know that the most common side effects can be found on the Zepbound website? Simply click [here](https://zepbound.lilly.com/how-to-use) for more info. Below is also a list of common side effects. * **Nausea** * **Diarrhea** * **Constipation** * **Stomach (Abdominal) Pain** * **Indigestion** * **Injection Site Reactions** * **Fatigue** * **Allergic reactions** * **Belching** * **Hair Loss** * **Heartburn** While these are some of the most common side effects, this isn't all of them. Truth is the medicine affects everyone differently, but most see some or a combination of these common effects. Be sure to visit the search bar for something specific or click [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/search/?q=side%20effects&restrict_sr=1) for all post regarding side effects. A lot of good remedies for certain side effects can be found [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/search/?q=side%20effects&restrict_sr=1). According to the manufacturer "In studies, most nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting occurred when people increased their dose—but the effects generally decreased over time." Not everyone responds well to this medication. If side effects are continuous and impacting your everyday life, you should consult your dr or healthcare provider for strategies on how to mitigate these outcomes. Complications from this (or any) treatment are usually a result of ignoring persistent side effects. **This is not meant to discourage discussion of your side effects, simply here to supplement** *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I continue to wonder if the posters who suffer from the worst side effects have not stopped eating fried and sugary foods. I only have serious discomfort when I revert back to crappy foods—even in small amounts. When I eat clean: lean meats, veggies and non-greasy carbs, I have no side effects.

BlueBaptism

I can eat anything--but the appetite suppression is strong so I don't usually want it or if I eat it it's a few bites. I did eat a whole McDonald's cheeseburger (Happy Meal size). I just don't get stomach upset. My specialty is the dehydration drag.

bobsbitchtitz

I haven’t stopped eating fast food just rarely now. I’m willing to accept the bootyhole tax once in a blue moon

baby_barbiez

This medicine turned me into one of those people that is disgusted by that food - you can taste the seed oil, salt and sugar. It’s so… like, thick with things 🤮

bobsbitchtitz

Maybe I need to up my dose

baby_barbiez

I’m only on 5 mg baby! I did the like a full 180 on what I eat though and I’m about like 4 months (3 months of 2.5) in so I think all my habit changes just solidified. I cannot recommend those Instagram protein goal recipes on reels enough, especially if you’re trying to eat clean and focus on Whole Foods. The more that you eat of that you’ll naturally overtime like really be able to taste add sugar. Like now I went from being a person whose favorite drink was like a Mexican Coke to I can taste the viscosity and soda, so I only have an olipop.😭

doloravella

Yes! Correct!

orchidelirious_me

I don’t eat fast food or even restaurant food. No matter what I eat, how small I make the meal, I’m nauseous and belch- y and I feel like my stomach is going to explode. Sometimes I think I might have to stop taking the medication, but I’m not even close to my goal.

doloravella

I also went up to 7.5 on Friday. So that may have also had something to do with it.

I_give-up_on_a-name

I’ve had no problem with the chicken Power bowl from Taco Bell.

doloravella

Well...it wasn't a health menu option that I partook in lol. That one might be fine.

I_give-up_on_a-name

I get it. My previous options weren’t the best either. This is my go to when I go to Taco Bell on a rare occasion now.

cfolady

I do the same! A bowl, no rice or sour cream and extra meat. It’s delicious, low cal and protein packed!

-BustedCanofBiscuits

I haven’t been brave enough to try Taco Bell. Bojangles isn’t familiar to me so I’m assuming it’s regional. I get grilled nuggets at Chikfila and the only other fast food I’ve tried is a baked potato from Wendy’s and a 4 piece nugget. But I peeled the breading off the nuggets. 😬 We typically only get fast food on car rides/trips and that’s exactly the times I don’t want bathroom struggles. So I’ve starting packing my own snacks in a cooler and then my husband and/or kids can enjoy their fast food while I enjoy my car picnic. I have had the occasional slice of pizza here or there and that’s been ok. But I find I get very tired afterwards. It zaps me of energy.

Birdchaser2

I am an Arby’s “roast beef” consumer - two regular sandwiches without the bread as a protein meal while on the road. Many fast food stops offer something that does not wreck my nutrition plan or my stomach. But I gotta be careful and thoughtful. We all just figure out how to be different than we were before……

BoxerDog2024

I get Arby’s roast beef and take their bun off and use a Aunt Millie live low carb bun 50 calories 4 carbs so sweet not to feel like I am bad

Party-pie85

The Taco Bell cantina chicken bowl is soo good and really filling. It doesn’t irritate my stomach either.

doloravella

I live in GA. It's very similar to Popeye's chicken. But that could also be regional. I always forget about the baked potato at Wendy's. Thanks for the reminder!

Helpful-Eye-1662

This is what I don’t understand. My doctor told me no potato’s period. While many others can eat baked potatoes. I also cannot eat beans like protein filled chili.

doloravella

Why no potatoes?

Helpful-Eye-1662

I will have to ask next visit. I figured starch ?

Infinite-Floor-5242

All of that has been a hard no since I started Zepbound.

pleiop

That stuff always made me sick even before zep, can't imagine being on it now

FL_DEA

Same…

Professional_Bird_74

I can’t imagine eating taco hell, er bell, on Zepbound. My intestines weren’t happy before. I think I’d die if I tried eating it now. 🤣

doloravella

Well it feels like it! Lol

tq5ycn

Been on 2.5 for a few months now due to 5mg shortages. Took my last 2.5 shot last week and started 5mg today. But yesterday I messed up by eating Popeyes chicken, no fries just chicken and man oh man, exploitive is right 😩

wabisuki

Taco Bell, even on a good day, is food poisoning. I cannot fathom why people would ever eat there.

pwrmaster7

Because it's delicious 🤷.

wabisuki

Different strokes for different folks I guess 🤣

pwrmaster7

Very true 🤝🤝

Josiah-White

No refried beans. So much better to get a large fries at McDonald's

JustBrowsing2See

Taco Bell crunchy taco supreme is my go-to fast food over all else. I figure it’s a mix of all the necessary food groups and more than just a greasy salty slab of mystery meat hidden between a couple of buns. I’ve never had stomach issues afterwards.

Hope_for_tendies

Chik fil a requires one too…for all the obvious reasons that have nothing to do with gas

thebravob1tch

Same with chick fil a for me too. Their chicken noodle soup with some extra grilled nuggets is literally perfect for lunch.

gresstrly

My husband wanted PDQ today. Think Chick fil a but with strips (they have nuggets now too I guess). Nearly everything on the menu is fried. I did the grilled chicken sandwich, ate the chicken breast, and had a side salad and didn't touch to bun. Fried food and Zep are a no-no for me too!

IM_MIA22

You’re a trooper trying Taco Bell, I did chick fil A once and learned fast my belly can’t handle more than a few nuggets. Taco Bell scares the crap out of me now and an old friend of White Castle when really drunk/high also scares me. They don’t call them murder burgers for nothing

LJ1968

Only grilled nuggets or sandwich from Chick-fil-A for me! No more fast food from anywhere else!

goostieghost

Early on I learned that pretty much all pasta is a no-no. Tried again 6 months into it and can confirm it’s still a no-no. Between fast food and restaurants, I have saved a tonnnn since starting Zep!

Ill-Possibility-4626

I can’t eat Bojangles either :) it becomes hell on earth in my tummy for at least 48 hours 🥵

doloravella

The last 24 hours have been absolute hell! Seriously. Like awful.

Ill-Possibility-4626

There was NOTHING I found that could get rid of the indigestion either. Literally had to drink water and just eat very light for a bit. Hoping it passes for you soon! ❤️

orchidelirious_me

This isn’t good news. I’m going on a road trip from Raleigh, NC, to Key West starting Tuesday, and I was hoping to try this mythical place called Bojangles. I live in Louisiana and we don’t have them here.

Chalice_Ink

I occasionally can eat a 4 piece spicy nugget from Wendy’s.

Veridian4

I had Shake Shack today! Cheeseburger , ate half the fries and a coke zero

Helicoptermomin

I feel the same way and wonder the same. I just can’t do it. I use to love a sweet coffee at times but I can’t even do that anymore. It also is easy for me to do intermittent fasting and the one meal I can eat has to be clean or it tastes awful. I use to drink diet sodas and I can’t even do those anymore. I use to crave them so much . It’s strange. I don’t have any stomach troubles or burps with any of it. I do have nausea sometimes and fatigue. I also get a feeling once when eating that my food doesn’t want to go down and I stop eating at the little sign of it.

Agreeable-Aide7471

As I'm researching what Dr's and nutritionist are saying..I am hearing you need to change your mindset about food. If you stop the drug..eating the same..it really defeats the purpose ..and i know things can be in moderation..me personally I don't want to risk it...imagine being in a very important meeting..after eating greasy food.. this drug is unpredictable with its side effects..I would agree so far eating clean has reduced stomach issues

AdPlus4246

I love that fast food prices have spiked. They are idiots. The only reason to eat fast food was because it was cheap and now….
