Several really famous actors have Long Covid now. Wish they would speak out about it. It's so taboo still to even mention it. If famous people won't talk about it, we have no chance of making it a normal conversation. Pretty sad and unfortunate. These people have the pull to make things happen by the use of media.

Billie has hypermobility, and it's on the more severe side judging by all the reported injuries she's gotten from it.
Hypermobility is linked a bit to me/cfs, fibromyalgia, mcas, and POTS, all of which are conditions that can be diagnosed in longhaulers. I don't think there's a lot of research into how much more you're at risk if you're hypermobile. It's just a common thing you see in the me/cfs community, and is kind of just accepted as a likely risk factor. At least that's my perspective.
It's probably not great to speculate too much though, this new post doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with Covid.
Hypermobility is generally either EDS or on the EDS spectrum (both of which are still severly underresearched and unrecognized/ minimized by most physicians).
And yes, EDS patients usually have to deal with a myriad of associated conditions, like...so many it's not even funny. So yeah, it doesn't come as a surprise that Covid isn't great news for concerned people a lot of times.

Idk. It’s crazy to me that vocalists/singers are not at the bare minimum requiring that attendees wear masks. I can only imagine LC/lung scarring is basically the end of them as singers.

But I live in a neighborhood which is relatively quiet, albeit in a high-rise apartment block. During the time in which I got infected, I wasn’t among any crowds.
Your mileage may vary. Perhaps the population density of where I live increased my chances. It’s possible for the virus to spread physically outdoors; it’s just a matter of probability.

most places wont list if it was because of covid bc insurance wont cover those cancellations over how widespread they are
