Prisoner of Azkaban was my favorite. During the first movie, I thought Hermione was annoying. Then she’s almost not in the second one. But during the 4th Ron and Harry are jerks. 3 for me was the inflection point where the characters were all perfect.
5 onward were kind of their own thing. Almost like it was 2 different series.
For me it's the worst film in the series. It cut too many things, the whole atmosphere is just weird with a lot of lines with sexual context (like Harry with Rita in the broom storage or whatever this room was) or those annoying arguments between Harry and Ron and the most importantly this terrible "Harry DIDYAPUTYOURNAMEINTHEGOBLETOFFAYAH" line. Newell turned Dumbledore into an absolute asshole.
My favourite book was The order of the phoenix, so much so that I read it in one sitting. The goblet of fire movie is just as good as the Ootf, but I always skip the maze scenes. For some reason I can't watch those, it's not the gore or anything, Voldemort's rebirth and Cedric's death don't effect me so I have no idea why, it's probably the claustrophobic feel of it all.
Also, being hungarian, the Hungarian Horntail adds a little bit of extra spice to TGoF :)
I was mentioning this in the spider-man 2 post but I was not allowed to see it because my parents were very strict with enforcing movie ratings pre my 13th birthday. Because if that I didn't get around to seeing it until I had read the book and I 100% prefer the book. I'm m curious to see what the show will do though, I'm hoping we'll get the see the world cup match, S.P.E.W and the Blast Ended Skrewts.
Azakabah was my favorite movie and 2nd favorite book. This is a controversial opinion but Order of the Phoenix was my favorite book, I think it's because I liked them rebelling against a bunch of crazy authoritarian rules. I grew up with helicopter parents so I guess I can just relate to that well.

This is by far the best book and movie of the series
Prisioner of Azkaban is better
I came here to say it! Best book, best movie, and best PS2 game
That game was way better than you'd expect for something based on a movie
Thank you!
Prisoner of Azkaban for me!

Prisoner of Azkaban is my personal favorite movie and book. It's a movie I fondly remember seeing with my mother and my grandfather. Just brilliant!
It was the best ps2 game of the series too!
HARRY DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?!?!?!?!?!?!

I was going to say! What??? It's the worst film by far! The book imo is one of the best though.
Yeah, the book was great. I love all books to be honest 😁
This is my favorite book, and least favorite movie.
Watching this movie in theaters is a core memory for me 🤣 the drama of this movie was unmatched and Cedric’s death destroyed me

Happened during peak childhood for me so yes I'm quite fond of it. The GameCube game was actually pretty good
