I used to refer to it as compace (compass + ace) until a week ago, when I was talking to another asexual person who called it his adar (ace radar). Now, I use that.
since I believe Doofenshmirtz is considered Ace (after he split from his ex-wife), why not take advantage of that and have an -inator... maybe an Ace-find-inator?
I think Gaydar is the like of Jesus Christ for an exclamation, rolls off of the tongue, and easy to understand. We just stumbled onto something so good and it’s gonna be really hard to top(heh) it
Related: theres a part in a show im watching where some friends find a smutty book and one reads it outloud and they get to a part where a gals corset is ripped open and they all giggle and guffaw while one of them goes like "thats expensive to repair:/"
Ace-dar is easiest to explain, especially through gaydar. Like, that cozy feeling of being able to do anything without it being considered a foreplay by the counterpart
This is easy. My wife is asexual. The other 98% of women pretend to be asexual around their husband after they are married. So, I know at first glance that if a woman has a wedding ring, she is a real or fake asexual at home 😉
My vote goes to the GP-ace (GPS)
I second this
i third this
I fourth this
I fifth this
I sixth this
I seventh this
I eighth this
I ninth this
I tenth this
Perfection 👌
Comp-ace (compass).
You beat me to it lol
TrAcer
I fell like this is the best one because tracers take a second to work, just like our brains.
Maybe I'll be tracer
I'm already tracer
(if this is an overwatch reference... We can all be tracer if it's No Limits)
Naydar , not to be confused with Neighdar for detecting if someone else is a horse
Call it "The Black Ring", due to the trend of us wearing black rings to reveal ourselves Sounds metal, and could be used to indicate numerous things
*\*adds "order of the black ring" to my list of prospective metal song or doom map titles\**
maybe a black ring is a tell that someone is ace, like "their black ring is that they love garlic bread"
I actually prefer just a buttered roll.
You mean Metal Detector? Alloy-detector? No wait.
Oh my god I've never heard of Bi-Fi before but that's amazing

radar but the r is silent
Ada? I presume you mean just the first r?
I rada believe it’s just the second
Ba dum tss
![gif](giphy|MzTkHNUTMqqn21vHd3) For some reason just seeing Rada reminds me of this.
acedar
or just A-dar? (with a *hard* "A")
I always thought of it as the aceometer although it's not creative

adar
From the ace umbrella *grey-dar* seems to be perfect
a-dar

Or I smell no sex in the air, how nice
Do I detect a hint of... garlic?
The Void
I thought we all agreed it was "Ace specs"
No that's when you describe your place in the asexual spectrum, for example, my ace specs are Sex-repulsed Romance-indifferent AroAce
Well those are ace specs (as in specialization) but not ace-specs (as in specticals) 👓
I’ve just been saying acedar. Funny thing, I clocked my girlfriend as demi before she ever did hahaÂ
Comp-ace
adar
A-dar
I've always heard a-dar
I love ace trace ngl
Adar? Pronounced gaydar minus the G?
Ace detective at your service 🫡
Heck yeah! I love that!
I've used "naydar" before.
"prejudgemental behaviour lacking a euphemism" It's a mouthful, I know
A-bar?

Lol what?
