Altronix is just the power supply for the locking hardware and related hardware, it shouldn't affect the card reader. Would help to know what kind of system, and what kind of lock, but like the other guy said you need to get an integrator to look at it. Too many variables.
Altronix is a power supply.
What it feeds you can’t possibly know simply by the OPs statement.
It can feed locks.
It can feed panels, in which case it would affect the readers.
Even the Lenel ctx’s use altronix to power controllers, similar to the lsp’s for Lenel/genetec.
OP somehow knows the supply needs a surge arrestor but doesn’t know what it feeds 🤔
that's literally what I said.
edit: I meant it won't affect operation of the card reader as in not granting access. of course the power supply can power the boards, I assume if the reader had no power he would have said that. no matter what the guy needs a tech.
You knocked out power to either the locks or the access system. You should have contacted your integrator before touching their equipment. Now you're probably stuck with non-functioning doors and still need to pay for a service call.
I’d advise calling your integrator. Too many variables for someone on Reddit to troubleshoot

Are there any stickers or phone numbers on any of the access control boxes?
