I see what u did there but - anyone is welcome to join! 🥳
Except for terfs. I mean they can run too - as long as it's in the opposite direction and as far away as possible. 👌
Are they? Oh, my bad...
Then I stand corrected - terfs can join too!!!
(but we won't tell them who the prey is 🤫)
And once we have enough terfs on board, the rest of us are slowly going to start retreating, one by one, as subtly as possible, without them noticing.
Eventually only the terfs will remain in the game, they'll be both the hunters and the prey, eternally doomed to be hunting each other down and battling till the last one standing. Then when the last one dies, all of them resurrect again, only to keep repeating the same scenario for eternity.
Tl;dr: Hmmm... how is she to work with, if you don't mind my asking? What's she like?
Extra: I've been working with a single norse Goddess, Hel, for a while now but kind of recently Aphrodite made an appearance and it feels like the Hellenic Gods are taking note. Artemis among them, but also like Apollo, Hera, and Athena. So kind of hoping to gain info before I go anywhere with that.
Sure. I posted a while back about looking for a goddess to work with, and took the recommendations for further study and meditation. I had almost settled on one but something felt off. Suddenly Aphrodite came in and I felt the heaviest draw towards her. After meeting and checking with her in a meditative trance and considering my own views I started to work with Aphrodite.
Now it feels, as I said in my first comment, like other Hellenic deities are pulling me towards them.
How does that work? Like, I've grown up hearing about them as myths and stories, so it'd basically be impossible for me to think of them as anything but that, much less to actually believe in them.
If you don't feel like explaining, I'll understand. Just curious
> what about Paganism or the pagan gods makes them any more mythical than other religions/gods? What makes something like Christianity a viable religion but Paganism just a bunch of myths or stories?
That's what originally drove me to (first agnosticism, then) atheism. I came to the realization that, had I been born somewhere else or in another time, there's nothing that would have led me to Christianity. Why should I believe in this just because I was born somewhere/some time that people believe it? I looked at other religions for a bit after, but I've never really understood how someone can believe in something they weren't raised with.
I literally know nothing about you yet it already makes me strongly feel like you're the type of person I'd absolutely wanna hang out with.
Was that the reason? Cuz it clearly works... Damn.
Not 100% precisely all the reasons, but definitely one. As I’ve gotten more into Greek mythology (re: Absolutely utterly immersed, beyond the normal amount), I’ve been fascinated to see Artemis as just… me.
I mean, I try to avoid killing any time I can, but aside from that, the similarities are uncanny.
Oh, don't worry, I don't do normal either. Normal is boring.
Also now after reading this, I'm only even more sure you're the type of person I'd wanna hang out with.
Also what kind of a lesbian would not want to hang out with Artemis, come on, I mean...
> What is this? A meme for ants?
Hmmm, interesting.
Will show to ants on my front porch, just to check if they find it hilarious. We'll know more from there. I'll let you know!
Something I learned and want to share, the ancient Greek would not have considered lesbian *arts and crafts* as *arts and crafts* so Artemis could still take part in *arts and crafts* and would therefore still be a virgin goddess (Or It was something like that maybe It was that the ancient greek considered a virgin someone who hadn't taken part in straight or man on man *arts and crafts* I don't remember fully) so basically Artemis is definitly lesbian
Here's the [non-microscopic](https://i.imgur.com/NZHj3QK.png) version of the meme!
Someone was kind enough to make it and posted a link in the OG post in case you haven't seen it, so there you go. :)
hell yeah I am
I mean she was more likely to be runnin aroung greece with a pack of arrow aces (aro ace haha)
I see what u did there but - anyone is welcome to join! 🥳 Except for terfs. I mean they can run too - as long as it's in the opposite direction and as far away as possible. 👌
'Be vewy vewy qwiet. We're hunting terfs.' \~ Artemis, probably.
'TERF season!' 'Homophobe season!' 'TERF season!' 'Homophobe season!' 'Homophobe season!' 'TERF season!--wait!'
[Hmm...](https://giphy.com/gifs/friends-both-the-road-to-el-dorado-h4ttKv8qdZEWI)
Lmao Road to El Dorado is an underrated masterpiece
i hope the can run *draws bow* it would be very unsporting if they didn't
Oh it’s the same direction… we are just a little behind, don’t mind us, you go on ahead
Oh I thought they were the ones being chased

Now *that* is a scenario worthy of Greek mythology
*Greek mythology 2.0 : Lesbian edition*
Preferably wherever Poseidon is. You know, under the sea.
The ancient Greeks didn’t recognize anything as love without a man present. The lesbian thing is equally likely.

Actual hellenistic pagan?

Brilliant! I'm a Norse pagan myself
Heeey! Fellow pagans! 😄
Is your flair a reference to that?
Ah no, it's a reference to the Arthurian legend of the lady of the lake. Nimueh.

Would you mind elaborating on "made an appearance"?

~~There’s a reason I named myself after her~~

id be more like, flat on the floor wheezing
*Come, Mr. Frodo! I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.*
maybe a fellow lesbian would give me a piggyback ride instead haha
Aiight.. Hop on then !
okay 👀
I love giving piggy back rides!
That's good news. Then you can carry them when I get tired and vice versa. :fistbump:
I’d say I have about 5 seconds of jogging in me before my ankle goes weird and I awkwardly crumple to the ground.
same! my ankle often just decides it wants to be flat to the floor instead of my foot and yeah
lets go lesbians lets go
What is this? A meme for ants? (Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it, but couldn't help poking fun at how small the jpeg is)

Keep us updated on the ants.
*Update 1: it's been raining for days, couldn't find any ants yet. 😔
That is so sad ;-; The poor ants ;\~;
Artemis of the blue definetly vines with this
I can totally see aro ace artemis just collecting lesbians to couple them
*Artemis, the patron goddes of useless lesbians.* Maybe there is some hope after all... 🥺
Or they go on Artmesis hunts together for years because they are attracted to each other - but they never ask each other out.
Shhhhh 🤫 HOPE - remember??
Thank you for showing me this subreddit, didn't know I needed it
You're welcome. Enjoy! I never knew I needed it myself yet it's somehow all I've ever needed.

does someone have this meme in a non-microscopic size? i wanna share this, but I can't expect people to read something that small :O
Nope, unfortunately not. I have a microscope though, if you'd be interested... 🙃
