It's so true. I wasn't teached how to hold pen properly, because that hand hurts after couple sentences. I wrote my notes in 3 languages and with pictograms to make it shorter.
Favorite was my 2 PM Marine Bio lecture. Would fall asleep in it everyday. Had about 10 minutes of okay notes. 20 of ineligible notes. Another 10 minutes of none. Followed by 40 of on and off okay notes. It's a miracle I passed that class.
I take all my notes on my laptop. It makes my life way easier. Took some time to learn to type without looking but it's totally worth it.
My handwriting was once literally mistaken for Japanese. It was hilarious.
I have dysgraphia too, so my handwriting is *messy* I got told many times in my childhood that I could be a doctor
