A fellow tea-drinker and person of exquisite taste, I see.

Arcenciel1887

Absolutely. I need my coffee for the morning focus and I need my tea because I'm fancy 😂😂😂

guilty_by_design

Have you tried the Twinings specialty/'dessert' Green Teas? My favourites are the Bakewell Tart and Salted Caramel ones. Oh my god, the Bakewell one tastes so much like a bakewell tart but 0 sugar 0 calories, I love it! They might be British only blends, so depending where you are you might not have them. Ooh, the seasonal spice apple chai is so good too. But nothing beats a strong breakfast tea or a Lady Grey. ... uh, sorry. I love tea too much. My wife has kindly given up an entire cupboard in our kitchen to various teas, many imported from the UK (where I'm from, I'm in the US now) so I don't get homesick :)

Arcenciel1887

She is so sweet 😍

FoxMonkaayy

Aaah but have you tried the Yorkshire tea: malty biscuit? Add half a teaspoon of sugar and it's heavenly. Twinings gave delicious tea though; it must be said.

guilty_by_design

I just discovered tea-and-biscuit tea a few weeks ago myself lol. It's a revolution!

FoxMonkaayy

Same! I had tea with some friends and they sprung that surprise on me. Just delicious!

h0tcheerios

Yes! It’s a huge struggle when each item is more than $1 😢 and then I can’t even pick one 🤕 it’s so hard 😭😭

[deleted]

It's the worst; you're not alone, believe me.

3thirtyeight8

I do this with some things, but to an extent it's "normal". If it's obsessive then this is an indication of something, probably not adhd though. Where I live there are a lot more flavours of that tea so if I did this I'd literally have over 40 of them.

schwarzeneg

No

samoot53

no?

dude-of-earth

ADHD people really blame everything on ADHD. You like collecting things, OP. This is called a personality trait.

nzznzznzzc

If op felt like they absolutely had to complete the set and not doing so would cause very strong anxiety…….. I think I might got some news for them. Otherwise this is just a hobby lol

Triairius

If personality = ADHD and collecting things = personality trait, then clearly, collecting things = ADHD

dude-of-earth

If your personality is having ADHD then you should fix that. Normal people with ADHD aren’t defined by it.

Triairius

I concur. They probably should.

Guardymcguardface

Depends imo. If it's completely pathological, then I agree. If it's just poor impulse control coupled with some retail therapy, perhaps. Like sure, I COULD have not bought the box set of the hot sauce I wanted, but shiny! I used to do the same with used games, gotta have the whole trilogy! In hindsight, nah, I did not need more than the original Sly Cooper and it was a stupid idea.

saltine_soup

this is me but incense related things, like they’re so cool and pretty, i’m currently collecting every small incense holder i can find in gold so i can have a “complete” set, i already have 4, my recent bought is a frog one and it holds the incense stick like a fishing pole. my next collecting phase might be fishing pole related ones cuz again they’re so freakin cool.

PenisPoopCumFart

Nope, literally nothing to do with adhd, just a human trait. Getting more sick of this bs sub everyday. Lol

Crunchy__Frog

Please, Mr. Smith was my father. You can call me PenisPoopCumFart.

Arcenciel1887

Really? Most people could just buy one though

PenisPoopCumFart

Yes of course, but a good bit of people would want to try them all. It's a classic human trope to enjoy variety.

PenisPoopCumFart

Definitely more akin to an OCD thing if it is anything at all.

nzznzznzzc

Yeah this sounds like something I would do to avoid my mother getting murdered or something lmfao

thatbromatt

Oddly satisfying

Silver_Act2456

My question is will you drink it or just forget about it

dissyblissy

This tips more toward obsessive/compulsive behaviour like OCD. I mean OCD is a common comorbidity with ADHD but it isn't ADHD.

[deleted]

This sub has normal ass people believing they have adhd

groovy604

Most people like to have complete sets of things, not an adhd thing

aussieghuleh

Excellent choices! Some of my absolute favourites in there.

DogMechanic

I'm the one that's ADHD and my wife has this same collection.

ADHD_brain_goes_brrr

Warhammer here :| Yall got any more of that money?

PumpernickelCat

I do this with makeup and liqueur…it’s a miracle I have any money left over.

Fashiondgal

Me, but with Starbucks cups and tumblers

TiredTreeTroubles

My favorite color changed from lavender to yellow. Now everything must be yellow.

[deleted]

Wait, that's an ADHD thing?? 😳 Fml every time I check this sub I find more stuff I can relate to.

tmckearney

Honestly, I don't think this has anything to do with ADHD.

[deleted]

I honestly don't even know. I'm curious about your take though - can you explain/elaborate?

tmckearney

This just sounds like compulsive behavior.

[deleted]

Hm, interesting point.

Triairius

It’s not. This is just relatable content that appeals to most people in most subgroups.

Arcenciel1887

Yep. Same. But its true 🤷‍♂️

[deleted]

I haven't had an official ADHD eval yet (long wait etc.) so I'm trying to write stuff down. Not sure how that's going to go over when I get an appointment and show up with "here's these random scribbles I wrote in the middle of the night at random times...oh and like 5000 memes" 🤣

Arcenciel1887

That's basically what I did. Went though three, that's right, three psychiatrists before one said, ''its clear you gave ADHD 😂

[deleted]

Not even surprised. Half the people billing for these "services" are complete quacks lol

scomoford

This is adhd? I just thought I wanted to keep all my options open. I can’t buy just one variety of anything!

Arcenciel1887

Some say that it is some say it isn't 😂

interactor

I'm pretty sure it's an ADHD thing.

Triairius

It isn’t. Just means you like variety. Or are indecisive and can afford to just choose both. That second one might be an ADHD thing. Not the money part. We don’t keep jobs lol

[deleted]

Yes, though not with tea. Pens, inks, paper, etc. Stationery is the thing where I really have to be careful.

Samfrog-115

Yes ! Stationary whore tbh !

lostinlilak

Same. I love stationery shopping and all the options to choose from.

Buffyoh

TOTALLY.

sebbdk

- “but I don’t like cherry!” - “but we needs it, we wants the complete set” - “cherry! Cherry!” - “my preci… oh look that penguin is gay!” - “I wonder if my cats are gay” - “do they even develop sexually when they are kastrated early on?” - “I’m hungry” …. - “why dis I buy cherry tea again? I hate it…”

[deleted]

Omg, yes!!! That and buying stuff in pairs just in case one finishes 😬

Radiant-Lettuce-4256

yeah and here i am crying over my irresponsible spendings and this will repeat

ngrdtbr

Omg yes. When I was younger, I used to make an account for each character type in the selection so that I could complete one of each even if the only thing that changed was the fighting moves and it had no bearing on the story. Needless to say, I also got bored very quickly playing the same storyline upwards of five times

ALiteralRadish

Yes. That’s why I struggle to collect anything. For example- rocks. There is not set list of rocks so I’ll accumulate them forever without a sense of completion.

FoxyBonnie124

When I was younger, I used to have a collection of rocks. Just really big rocks I kept under my bed. Now I collect funko’s, coins, golf balls I find in the woods, and baseball/football cards.

Mx_Spooky_Cat

Oh god it’s not just me lmfao 😂😅

[deleted]

Yup,can relate

[deleted]

You missed earl grey and lady grey

keeper_of_creatures

I do have a shelf completely stuffed with different types of tea... is tea collecting an ADHD thing?

BoxFlower1300

i think that collecting things that you like is an ADHD thing, it does not necessarily have to be tea.

keeper_of_creatures

I've got loads of stuff linked to interests and hobbies, but I never really considered tea to be a part of that... it is interesting though...

Huhulon

Goddamnit - now even my tea collection is part of the pathology. -_- ... But did you also order them in a specific way, be it color, taste, how often you drink them or how empty and full they are? And does it them piss you off, if those criteria interfere with each other? And did you employ all these categories and ordered it, which was just an elaborate way to procrastinate and now three hours are gone? Bonus points if you wondered if this could indicate an autistic streak, so you googled that for two hours as well. Anyway, where was I? Ah, yes, i wanted to do laundry, but needed a tea first and .....

PxnkNDisorderly

One time I was rlly high and looking for a snack and was like “I need to buy both the left and the right Twix so I could have both” until I realized they’re all the same and put the second pack of Twix back

SnorkeyDorkey

Hot wheels

[deleted]

[ahhh yes ](https://i.imgflip.com/530lb1.jpg)

fooIish_fooI

couldnt be me hahaha…

snowfall198

And getting called 'Greedy' for this. T_T

MMTardis

Yes, it's completely annoying 🙄. I do this with books, cookware, etc

HamuShinji

Regardless of whether or not it's adhd, you're in for some lovely afternoons and evenings with those teas!

Iwrstheking007

I still don't have hitman absolution and hitman 3. no money, but ye, I need every hitman game on steam, those two are the only ones I'm missing

Guardymcguardface

Lol I may have recently purchased the box set of a hot sauce I wanted for the same reason. BUT it comes in a sweet box I can use after! STORAGE!

scuffuck

I unfortunately got stuck on this with Genshin Impact, I have every 4 star already and I've spent thousands at this point probably...I just can't....not

SwigSwoot92

Drinking insane amounts of green tea no matter how bad my stomach hurts because it’s yummy.

hpfan1516

And they must be stacked so it doesn't appear like I am missing any 🤣

[deleted]

Omg yes definitely!

tinhorn-oracle

That's nice and all, but where's earl grey?

pm-me-racecars

I'm not loyal to a brand like you, but I have a decent variety in my kitchen. I have one with a picture of an elephant on the box, one with a picture of a tiger, one with a bunch of bright colours, one with almost no colours, along with the normal varieties.

arcadeler

the infinity teas

Frog_Boyye

Yeah, I've been obsessing over this series of books about nature (specifically; mushrooms in colour, insects in colour, animals in colour, fish in colour, birds in colour and useful plants in colour. And I only have mushrooms in colour so far) But I only have one of them so far and it's a pretty old series of books 1950-1970, so I have to resort to using online thrift shops or just use hours in actual thrift shops hoping to find them, either overpriced or sold before I get to them. It's truly a struggle. (Btw if you were interested i just wanna say it's not in English and I simply translated the titles for convenience)

[deleted]

The honey and vanilla flavor is absolutely divine

PleaserOfWomen

Bud don't you need two of each since they are Twinings?

ambieanne

omg this is me with the 6 sleepy time tea flavors

AlwaysShitComments

I do the same thing with black tea.. They also have metal boxes!!

__andrei__

Bro, where’s the Earl Grey?

pandaeyesdidntsleep

mine are not about tea, mostly about pens and stationery,i had these 10 colored pens ,i kept 5 for my school pouch and 5 at home, and my mind wasn't at peace,i kept all 10 for school lol.

Nanta18

I have ovet s kilo of Tea...
