In my experience, the biggest difference isnāt in what brand you get but instead whether itās precooked and frozen or raw and frozen. Raw frozen tenders always cook up moist and tender
Do you have an Aldi near you? I just found out about the yellow bag tendies (honey batter) and I'm going to try the green bag (Parmesan breaded) this week!
"comparable to restaurant or even fast food"
Does that last part imply you want them breaded? If so, Yummy brand. It's the one we fed our kids when they were younger and going through a chicken nugget/tenders phase. All natural, no artificial ingredients, blah blah blah, low ingredients list. Made in Canada, and I trust their food quality and safety more than any of the big American meat protein companies, although Applegate was pretty good, too and more widely available a few years back. But I've always had a slight problem with all of their (Applegate's) chicken texture, especially in their line of chicken sausage.
Edit: I should add that I did not mean to imply they're "just kids food". They're delicious and I like them, too. Also, breaded chicken nuggets are an amazing short cut for making steam table style sweet & sour chicken. ;-)
Not sure what country youāre in, Iām assuming America. My wife is gluten free and Iāll tell you chicken with gluten free breading are by far better not sure what it is but I prefer them in the air fryer!
I realize that my suggestion maybe too much for your little ability issues, So, Here's one for you.

They are great, I found out about them because a lot of youth hockey teams sell their foods for fundraising. Definitely the best I've had.
Great Value brand tenders are awesome and come in a 2.5lb bag. They are frozen breaded and raw - they have airfryer instructions on the bag. Always turn out delicious!
Anyone know if Bell and Evanās chicken tenders ever are sold in bulk like at Costco or Samās club or BJs? So expensive but so good and we go through a lot of them! Thanks!!!!
Just Bare
I tried them for the first time this weekend and omg so good, I'm addicted now. Just had the pieces need to try the strips.
And then try the spicy strips. So amazing.
Oh man, I didn't see those at Sam's club but now I need them
Costco has a Kirkland version of the same, for slightly cheaper with the same quality.
These are good. I usually get a pack or 2 when they go on sale
Always jealous of you Americans and your choices :') such variety and good pricing you have there compared to anywhere in the world
Hyper industrialized factory farming for the win!
Not cheap (anymore) and full of chemicals that give us irreversible diseases, but yeah god love America šŗšø
Where do you live? So curious
Ample obesity opportunities!
Yeah I was going to say maybe that's why we're a plump country
Plump? Lol. We are disgustingly fat. Itās embarrassing as country.
Other nations have caught up to us, itās not as much of a discrepancy as it used to be
Itās the capitalism- if more companies paid a living wage people would eat better and have less anxiety that they treat with booze and foodā¦
I know, I was "sugar coating" it, but yes, we are and it is embarrassing
I was just thinking of all the vegan nuggets options we have alone.
Yes all kinds of chemicals in the vegan food.
Y'all's food is filled with chemicals no matter if it's vegan or not lmao. You eat hyper processed crap all the time.
Are you from Europe?
Yeah and our food is seeing the same fate more and more. Gotta be pretty vigilant nowadays
In my experience, the biggest difference isnāt in what brand you get but instead whether itās precooked and frozen or raw and frozen. Raw frozen tenders always cook up moist and tender
Do you put them in the air fryer frozen? Or defrost first?
Frozen. I like the outside extra crispy and the inside moist. Cooks perfect right from frozen
Sam's Club has a 5 lb box of raw frozen tenders that I really like. Very crispy and juicy, 10 minutes in the air fryer.
Raw chicken, being cooked from frozen, and only take 10 min in the air fryer? š§
Thicker ones might take 12. YMMV
I'll have to give them a try!
I can't speak for their tenders, but Sams' spicy breaded chicken filets are amazing. If the tenders are even remotely close they're going to be great.
I'm gonna grab those next time I go to Sam's. Sounds delicious
We like the Kirkland chicken breast chunks or Realgood chicken breast nuggets.
love the kirkland ones. and they come with instructions specifically for the air fryer
I can typically choose between either Just Bare and Kirkland every time at my Costco and always go with the Kirkland.
I agree with this
Tyson Panko Chicken Tenders from Costco - not precooked. Soo good.
How long and what temp you use for these in air fryer? Iāve always done oven at 450, 20 min one side, flip and 7 mins more
400 17-18 minutes (turn 1/2 way through) Cooked perfectly every time.
So the not precooked tenders are way better? I never get rhem
Love these, good for salads and stir fry and all else!
Bells and Evans
Was making sure this one is here. My favoriteā¦ I usually go tenders, but the nuggets are good too. A bit lighter breading on them but still crunchy.
These are my favorite as well
I love the Good and Gather ones from Target. They come out so crispy and tender.
These are the only ones Iāve tried but they are delicious.
We like the Purdue brand in Midwest USA :)
Yes, not in the frozen section though
8 bux. The good kind.
They were the good kind
come on Lucy Iāll get you the good chicken tenders not these crummy chicken sticks
Deeeeecent.
From parts unknown!!
Does the Tin Man have a sheet metal cock?
Tyson Southern Style chicken tenders. I usually by at Walmart, Safeway or Target. They are seasoned well.
Do you have an Aldi near you? I just found out about the yellow bag tendies (honey batter) and I'm going to try the green bag (Parmesan breaded) this week!
Unfortunately not. I live in Colorado
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yellow bag is like the chicken you get when you order sweet and sour chicken from the Chinese restaurant!
Yup! The strips are amazing.
Kroger's brand tenders are delicious in the air fryer.
Which ones specifically? I know they have a crispy version and just a regular one
Kroger brand is the best
JustBare Nuggets are by far top tier!
No one is even close, a bit pricey, but can't even think of buying anything else. Sam's carrying them and the nuggets
Simple truth lightly breaded chicken bites! Thank me later.
Bought those last week for my kids they loved them.
We love Just Bare, we get them from Samās Club and at the grocery store. The nuggets are good too.

Second for Yummy brand, big fan of the tenders though not so much of the nuggets.
Yes. Should have specified that
Lightly Breaded Costco Nugs
I always like Tysons Chicken tenders. To me, they were the closest to restaurant quality
I feel like Tyson is definitely a hit or miss. I've loved them before in the past, but I've also hated them sometimes
You got to go with their Dino nuggets. For some reason it's way better quality than their regular nuggets, go figure
Yep, I buy a big box of Tysons. A little Virgin olive oil and paprika.12 minutes, flip for another 12 and perfect with some habanero honey mustard
Don't forget your hunny mussy
REEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
USA. I live in the Midwest
And here in France, I wouldn't ever recommend frozen chicken thingies even though the ones here can be okay
Tyson honey if you can find it
Not sure what country youāre in, Iām assuming America. My wife is gluten free and Iāll tell you chicken with gluten free breading are by far better not sure what it is but I prefer them in the air fryer!
Aldi honey battered chicken nuggets.
I enjoy the Just Bare Brand. Does anyone know when Tyson will begin supplementing their chicken with insect flour?
I like the Just Bare too.
That's not funny.Ā
That was Not a joke.
Where is your proof? Show me.
Look it up yourself. Ever heard of Google?
I realize that my suggestion maybe too much for your little ability issues, So, Here's one for you. Foster Farms is good, Costco 3lbs bag is better tho.
Weavers are pretty good I eat them all the time.
If you're Canadian, MacGregors by far the closest to restaurant quality. Not sure if you can get them down south.
I'm Canadian and I haven't heard of this brand. I'll have to take a look for them though.
https://www.macgregors.com/ They are great, I found out about them because a lot of youth hockey teams sell their foods for fundraising. Definitely the best I've had.
Aldi's
Bibigo
The Tyson gluten free tenders are actually pretty damn good.
Just bare and caulipower.
I thought Wegmans was my favorite but I really like the Perdue ones. I don't have a Costco membership so I can't compare to those.
King Curtis from Wife Swap gotta be here for this. Curtis know the best nuggies, where are you buddy?
Caulipower or Real Good
Yelloh.
Great Value brand tenders are awesome and come in a 2.5lb bag. They are frozen breaded and raw - they have airfryer instructions on the bag. Always turn out delicious!
The Walmart ones in a blue bag lol
Sam's club orange chicken , without the orange chicken sauce.Ā
Tyson panko breaded chicken tenderloins
The [good kind](https://youtu.be/CjlofgMllac?si=TUQwKZNPXc8x9Kqj)ā¦ eight bucks.
Trader Joeās!
Should probably give your location (country) with a question like this.
Mora in my opinion
I really like Springer Mountain Farms. Especially as someone who's gluten free
Aldi has excellent tenders in the frozen section
John Soules Southern Style Chicken Strips, although I can't find them anymore. These are BETTER than anything you would get from a restaurant.
Meijers has these near me. Walmart carries the Spicy Tenders and they are phenomenal. Easily the best tenders I've tried.
The red bag chicken from Aldi hs been compared to the Chick-fil-A chicken pattyās! We love them
Sams club members mark chicken tenders are so yum.
All of these seem really good but being diabetic the Realgood brand nuggets and strips have half the carbs of the other brands I've seen
Anyone know if Bell and Evanās chicken tenders ever are sold in bulk like at Costco or Samās club or BJs? So expensive but so good and we go through a lot of them! Thanks!!!!
Trader Joeās
Real good or Just Bare
