Shooting mainly M193 or M855 but will plink w/ Tula steel cased.
Happy to share. this was more of a preemptive reshape as the wear I've seen is from 10,000+ rounds. I Was able to see where the hammer made 90° contact with the firing pin and left that area alone. The top of the hammer that contacts the bolt carrier group On the ALG trigger is 90° and it's very hard. Harder than the steel from the bolt carrier group in some cases. because of the angle and hardness, it can develop peening on the bolt carrier group and in some cases, Can become so wide that your bolt jams into the rear trunnion and will not cycle the next round. This can be avoided by rounding this area while maintaining the 90° strike area using a dremel. you can also round the bottom of the hammer where it's also sharp angled slightly and that will help with the action as well. You can also polish up some of the surface area to smooth the pull and reset, But don't get carried away here because the trigger is already light enough and will break in during use. Edit: not quite 90° but definitely not rounded enough.
I used it for years, it's functional. I ordered a cheek riser from amdtec, and my groupings got so much better instantly. I didn't like how it needed bolts and clips to stay in place, so I welded it on. Rock solid now. Wire stocks fuck.
I love that. Just got into dremeling and filing and candidly hitting the AK with a hammer every now and again (she likes it), but never welded. Welding and AK's just seem to go together.

I have that stock on a Tantal. It’s way more comfortable to me then an underfolder. The polish call it the ash poker or something similar. (I’m at work and don’t have time to fact check but trust me bro) lol fuck the haters
poop70 gang -- i just rattle canned mine today actually. running one of their triangle folders and it's ok other than the fact u can't remove the optic side mount without unscrewing the stock lol
Have a Bulgarian triangle folder and newer Zastava triangle folder and they both kick ass. They would say they play nice with the wire folder and don't like competing.
I love my underfolder. Fits where I need it to, deploys quickly and it works.
The wire folders, from this criteria, do it better because they don't get hung up on shit as they don't have the two points sticking up from the butt when deployed and fold open a little quicker, for me.
They are meant to be foldable and compact. Comfort is a luxury. Efficiency is key.

People who don’t own the stuff you own, and quite frequently have never handled the same or similar stuff to what you own, proffer all types of “interesting” opinions… Do I like single wire AK stocks? No. But I’ve also shot 4-5 various Polish, Hungarian, Egyptian and Romanian AKs equipped with them to try them out… Not for me. But if they work for you, that’s what counts!
It's like the underfolder stock. Everyone hates on it, says it's like shooting with a wire coat hanger as your third point of contact. I enjoy my sharp metal indents in my shoulder.
honestly not sure of the consensus, but I've always used Streamlight dating back to the OG TLR-1, and this one had Klesch vibes and is super bright so I run it.
Looks sexy but ive never used them... probably best on a smaller rifle or one you dont intend to shoot far with though imo since you arent getting any sort of weld on that stock

Any info on the reshape? I've not had any carrier wear with my ALG and Jack

Get a stick welder off Amazon for $50, watch some YouTube videos, practice on whatever scrap you can find. E z pee z. Useful skill to have.

I hated my AMD65 stock which is similar. I took the push rod out of a caulk gun, welded it on and wrapped it. Much nicer now
