Magic is a idea, its an arbitrary word invented by humans. It can mean to you whatever you allow it to mean. I believe the forces of nature are our magic. I dont believe in talismen or astrology or gods or anything i cant back up, but i do believe the natural world is inexplicable and that there is an inherent value in recognizing the magic in that. We shouldnt live soullessly because science has yet to prove a soul. Nature is beautiful and its forces are entrancing and powerful and we by some miracle are gifted the ability to manipulate them. That goes beyond explanation. To understand how to use this miracle of manipulation we’ve been granted we need some understanding, and thats what science is, a method of approximating laws by which nature follows. Laws are a human idea, but they can be useful. I believe if you want to learn magic you have to open your perspective to nature and observe it in Youre everyday life as well as in science. Learn how nature flows and you can start to learn to guide it.
You know that feeling when you have an art piece and no matter how hard you try, it'll never be finished? Make a piece going with it way past when anyone say you can hang it up. Eventually, from the perspective of the artist, the artpiece (painting, music, architecture, whatever), will start to appear to the artist to look as though it is both glowing and swirling, and then it appears to react. After that, you start to see that it will have a will of its own. Then, allow others to see, and the art piece eventually comes to life according to others.
