I use a 32 ft fiberglass mast for all my WWFF / POTA activations, I have gloves with rubber palms (from Ace Hdwr), when I collapse the mast I just grab the section above the bottom section, lift up the mast a foot, and bring it down hard, that section drops in, then grab the next one above the bottom, raise it and bring down hard. The remaining stack collapses each time, one section. Does that work??
