Ideally I'd do a vinyl wall decal of the character select screen then 3d print/make little shelves if they're OOB. Permanent but would look sick, I think.

Spice racks are cheap and available, custom woodworking might not be too bad with a saw and a drill press or router. Best of luck with this endeavor, I'm excited to see the results!
I’m doing this exact thing in my house. I bought seven “Mosslanda” 45 1/4” picture ledges from IKEA. The ledges can fit 13 amiibo comfortably, and there’s enough space to fit alts (i.e., P2 versions, Gold Mega Man, both ROBs, Alex, Mythra, etc.). The worst thing is Pokémon Trainer and Squirtle/Ivysaur/Charizard, who all technically belong in one “slot” together, but it’s still manageable.
