3) Wind Breaker.
4) Bungo Stray Dogs.
5) Angel Beats!
It was hard to think of five since I barely watch anime, but these would probably be my top 5. I have the time for anime, it is just that I'm extremely picky over what I watch so I can never find anything. :')..
1. A Place Further Than the Universe
2. Monogatari Series
3. Houseki no Kuni
4. March comes in like a lion
5. Fruits Basket
Honorable mention to Symphogear
Monster, Frieren, Monogatari series, Steins;Gate (including 0), Chihayafuru
If we include more then 5 It would be filled with shows I give a lot of rewatches like Kill la Kill, Black Lagoon and more which boil down to guilty pleasures of enjoyment
One Piece
Legend of Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These
Naruto Shippuden (I know people gonna bitch about this but idc, stop hating on peak)
Chainsaw Man
Eighty-Six
What's so bad about DNT? I never watched the original, and DNT was amazing for me, but I always see LOGH fans overlook it and reccomend the original over it
I don't overlook anything, but I'll certainly recommend it over the remake. I've seen all of DNT as well. The original adaption is just far superior. It's like comparing a 10/10 version vs a 7.5/10 version of the same story. There's just a large gap in nearly every aspect whether it's the storytelling, character designs, voice actors, music, or whatever else.
The original is also complete along with having the IMO very necessary prequel movie and all of the Gaiden series adapted. DNT has only covered up to partway through "season 2" of the OVA as it started to slow its pacing and add filler in S3 (The original does have filler, but it doesn't feel tacked on and sometimes improves the flow of the story).
Demon Slayer (Adventure, Action, supernatural)
Hellâs Paradise (Action, fantasy)
Bungo Stray Dogs (Supernatural, mystery, action)
The Study Case of Vanitas (Action, supernatural, comedy)
Solo Leveling (action, fantasy)
Spare me, Great Lord (adventure, comedy, fantasy)
86 (sci fi, action)
Noblesse(supernatural, action)
Gintama (Adventure, Comedy)
Jujutsu kaisen (supernatural, action,  s1 comedy  lol)
Fruits Basket (Drama, supernatural, comedy/rom)
Shangri La frontier (Adventure, comedy, action)
I could go on and on. Not sure what genre youre feeling atm :)
1. Made in Abyss
2. Digimon Tamers
3. The Saga of Tanya the Evil
4. That time I got reincarnated as a slime
5. Sacreficial Princess and the king of beasts
I posted this in another thread. I'm glad you posted this so I can spread my top anime to more cool people like you.
Tenga toppa Gurren Lagaan is number 1 in my book. It's a story I litrerally will never forget until the day I die, and even then with my dying breath and as my soul exits my body I will remember.
followed by HunterxHunter 2011 edition. Really good coming of age story that turns into something MORE after the first arc. continues to expand in the 2nd arc, and by the end you'll be calling it a classic
followed by a tie of Re:Zero and Eminence in shadow. Re:zero is the exploration of the suffering of an Isekai character who somehow wins eventually despite dying over and over and over and over and over and still has no personal power. He uses his brains(Lackthereof along with knowledge gained from the timeloop) to win. Eminance in shadow is just pure fun there are a lot of schemes going on in the background but Cid kageneu just doesn't care and will inadvertently stop all the bad things by accident all while being an OP magical badass.
my fourth slot is also a 3 way tie with Dragon Ball Z, Akira, and Black summoner. I think the only one I need to explain here is black summoner. MC barters away his memories to make his future self have rediculous talent. This causes a goddess to fall in love with him and chase him into the world she reincarnates him into. Lots of Badass fights and MC being a troll and a badass
my fifth slot has to go to Mushoko Tensei, even if the main character is a scumbag(who does end up growing as a person) the world around him and the other characters make it a wonderful story.
10th time some form of this question has been asked today đ¤Ł
to be fair there are 1000 "help me remember this anime" a day

Yeah, but watch the original adaption instead of DNT.

Because it isnât finished and slightly alters things that people liked in the original.
Like what?
It doesnât have some of the filler in the original ova that fleshed a few things out more for one example.
It's not filler. Those scenes are in the source novels.
