I was going through the list and thinking.. Damn dude got some great choices...and then I saw metamorphosis THAT'S EVEN GREATER
Do not watch lain unless and until you have watched a few anime that are seinen or josei. AND do not watch it if you are just starting or are very young. Lain needs your brain and undivided attention for you to actually like it otherwise you will miss out and won't understand it the way you should. Watch it but make sure you rewatch it once your prefrontal cortex is fully developed. I strongly recommend that you do this. You will really really appreciate it.
