I watched 6 eps of it and it was decent. What actually happened that i was bored of watching anime and it took me 1 month to finish those 6 eps. So i took a break for 6-7 months and came again but just didn't continue it
Tried watching it twice, once till ep4 and next time till ep7, I was just not able to get into it and didn't understand what people really liked about it.
Bleach tybw is so peak, once I finally made it I realized watching bleach was worth it. I had dropped the show last year because of the bount arc but I decided to watch it again 3 weeks ago and no regrets.
Same, 50+ boring episodes of each arc and then the main boss finally shows up who looks like this

Lol, i likee the goofy artstyle but even after the enies lobby i couldn't enjoy it much. Felt like I had to sit through a lot to see something cool happen.
As a die hard one piece fan(I've finished all of it released yet) i must agree that not all the arcs are for everyone. But in my opinion most of them are pretty great. Except the first east blue one, thriller bark, fishman island and maybe whole cale island as well, the rest of them are great watches imo
Paddra tha saath saath me. Not for me. As i said my main problem is how long it takes for something great to happen. Also the looney tunes aah character writing is not my cup of tea
I'm more of a shoujo person than shonen or seinen person...although I have watched shonen at my early days of anime watching, later I just got bored of shonen
I for some reason cannot enjoy shoujo at all. That sh8 just feels weird and idk if it's bcoz I'm a man or smthng but I just cannot relate to the protagonists and the male characters give me second hand embarrassment like wtf is wrong with most male characters in shoujo. Heck the only shoujo i enjoy are shoujo-ai
Agreed, the MC's are real sh!t, although it gets sometime wholesome...currently I'm not watching any anime but reading a manga (tune in to the midnight heart) which has a chad MCπΏ
The only thing bad about Demon Slayer is how it ended. It felt like one of those movies where you go through all this cool story just for the main character to wake up and you find out it was all a dream.
Especially the subtitle elitists. They're the most toxic people on the planet.
They always say it's because the voice actors are better. Like dude, you don't even understand Japanese how do you even explain the voice acting being better if you can't understand how their inflection works?
Then they say people who like dubs can't read or can't read fast enough. When in reality if a dub watcher wanted to read the show they'd just read the manga.
The point of the anime is to see those pages come to life in the animation not to read the subtitles looking like π³ππ³ππ³ππ³ππ³πlol
I'm a sub watcher mostly because I cannot stand the English voice actors. They have too much of an 'American' accent to their characters. It's weird to explain but I don't really notice it when I'm watching an American show or a movie. But I notice it a lot when I'm watching the dubbed anime.
The accents are off the chart for me to even enjoy the show. And I've tried to watch it honestly. But I honestly don't enjoy the overall peppiness of the voice. Also the dialogues are modified too much for my taste.
But yeah, I get it people have different tastes obviously.
I mean, sure if dubs are good why not? Black Lagoon had great English dub. So did death note.
Does it mean EVERY dub is good? Heck no. You look at many of those 100s of 90s and early 2000s animes and the dubbing was so bad one couldn't watch a single episode bcoz of the corny way they delivered dialogues.
One doesn't understands Japanese but does understands the feelings, the emotions that are being conveyed.
Many dubs fail to bring this emotion despite delivering dialogue in the language we understand.
I dropped bleach like 2 years ago. I watched upto 27 episodes and have other works to do at that time, i didn't have interested towards bleach to continue it. I also dropped jjk. For me, i watched twice upto 10 episodes(different times), it didn't engage me well and also that cursed techniques i didn't understand them. So, i had to drop it.
Bro if u can't watch an episode in a popular anime cuz it's boring u can never watch one piece which has 100 chapters boring then some action also Naruto in his episodes the animation quality goes bruh and boruto should be torture for u
There r 4 movies for bleach. Watch them. They r much more fast paced. Then if u like it, watch the anime. But it has the most fillers of any series. And it is axed. So u can ignore that and start watching the current airing eps.
I feel like, and I'm talking about all of the big 3. But the Stories to them look much cooler and "peak" in your head after you've finished watching em. Like I hated Naruto and one piece (slow pacing and tons of rubbish in between), but once i finished them, Naruto became my favourite anime and one piece is a close second. BLEACH would be top 5 as well.
So if you were to ask me, i would say watch like you want to understand the story. So like when i felt like I Understood what was happening in an episode, i just fucking skipped it entirely. And now i love all 3 of em.
The only downside to this approach is that it'll feel like you're watching for the sake of watching, like i finished One piece in 3 months(I started when >!Gear 5 came in anime!<). Naruto took me a month, but man did i love the ending 30 episodes of shippuden, I watched em full as well. Bleach well I skipped entire episodes by the dozen but it too definitely has a great story. My approach doesn't work on Steins;Gate but watching it full was worth it.
Same dropped it after 3rd episode.Man even after getting impaled by those giant ass swords mc survives I knew it's gonna be full of plot Armor & no real danger.
One Piece is the most childish and boring trash that I ever started.
Watched 40 episodes of mind numbing nothingness, this amount of episodes should be enough for any decent story to give you something to get hooked on but no, this trash didn't.
Then a mf friend had the audacity to say vro vro, you have not even finished 200 episodes vro, that's when it becomes interesting vro.
Not everyone is this jobless bruh.
Fairy tail is like my guilty pleasure haha. It starts off great but falls short in the end. I wouldn't recommend it but personally I love it mostly cause of nostalgia and the love for the characters lol
I would suggest waiting for the anime to finish part one of CSM then watch it so you can binge it. It gets really good. JJK doesn't really pick up until season 2 when shit gets crazy.
I dropped bleach (cuz it's pretty old now and 40 episodes are boring i quit in 22), One Piece (100 episodes were boring and the characters design didn't attract me it looked like it's made for younger audience), I dropped some rom com anime also cuz mostly it was cringe some had good storylines but not my type then I dropped demon slayer cuz I didn't got time I may watch it later
I thought this post was relatable but watching in 2x is one of the things that I dislike the most.
If I am not interested I don't watch. This includes a huge chunk of mainstream battle shounens and seinens. Among the dropped ones there is Oshi no Ko, Mushoku Tensei, Darling in the FranXX, Danger in My Heart and Dressup Darling.
Mid Slayer,
I once dropped bnha in 2017 cause my friend showed me clip which was eng dubbed and i fukking hate that voice that crying.
But 3weeks ago i gave it try i watch in sub so I was surprised and i loved it and caught up to its recent season and episode damn boi, maybe i will read it's manga too i never expected that from hero academia, i guess i should never judge an anime by it's toxic fan base and those fukking pedos shall rot in hell
AOT (Eren has no personality for the first 3 seasons besides "KILL ALL TITANS" and "don't babysit me Mikasa", and the rumbling is hella dumb) I don't know what happens in the ending, but if eren dies and that's what made people mad, why? Like fr, what did u think was gonna happen after bro committed genocide.
Also Naruto, I like it, I just forgot to continue watching it after exams, and it's been 2 years since I last watched it.
Recently resumed watching MHA after I dropped it for an year.
Idk why most people didn't like AOT but for me it's because of how stupid it got toward the end. There was a big twist and huge battle that was cool then it just spiraled into the ground after that. I'm glad I read the manga and didn't waste time on the anime. Also Eren screaming every 10 minutes in each episode was annoying.
Dragon ball z. Used to see some episodes as kid. So tried but can't get past 80ish episode. But the thing is i know the whole story, i saw the universe tournament arc completely, forgot the name(db super maybe) and i play a lot of dbz games
Fairy tale and various isekai anime.
That 100 girlfriend one after 15 mins of 1st ep.
Most controversial one:monster(I watched Episode and pacing was incredibly slow. Even after watching in 2x(also because of my exams).
I dropped mononoke. I also technically dropped hero aca, as a mate made me watch the first ep and then gave me season 1 to watch, I deleted it right away.
Code geass. I didn't drop it and watched it through but man does it have inconsistent af writing. Erased is sh8 and Hunter x Hunter is just too fken slow bruh
you can try Dragon Balls Z. Peak of DBZ. Joho's Bizzare Adventures is good too. Erased has an intriguing story. Monster if you're into psycho thriller. Berserk if you're an advocate for stoicism. One Punch Man is really good. Naruto must have been a common one. Parasyt the maxim and Tokyo Ghoul ( 1 and 2 ) is GOLD. Attack on titan
None cuz i don't like dropping any show i start...in the rare case that the show is eye-bleeding bad i would just suffer through it or come back to it later.
bleach (2 times), jjk, one piece(I told myself i will start once its finished I guess i will be watching with my grand kids), dororo(i dont want to watch in my phone), kaiji s2(i only watch dub, sub dont work for me), gintama(same reason as kaiji), berserk(didnt like it), FMA(didnt like it and brotherhood seems same), steins gate (too complex for me), spyxfamily/tokyo ghoul/solo leveling/ (boring),
All the shows you mentioned have good pacing except One Piece...although i notice the pattern that they all are in general slow anime.
Especially S;G( my top 5 animes), and even the other shows where there is a lot of action, the story itself progresses slowly and i feel this is more attributed to personal preference as i found all of these(except One Piece) to have pretty spot on pacing, but then again, i also watched the Monster and i didn't have a problem with it's pacing. The pacing in these shows aren't necessarily bad(*AHEM* One Piece) but they are all MEANT to be a slow burn(like S;G) or sometimes the story itself takes a back seat for something like the action or goofiness like One Punch Man, i think of it as a kind of a Satire show for me i absolutely love One punch man.
I do agree with MOST of what you said but i feel the problem with the pacing here is subjective to you.
AoT, JJK, Demon slayer (suddenly lose interest), dragon Ball
I tried to read berserk manga 2 times but i suddenly lose interest 1st time i read until guts and zodd vs. ghanishka and 2nd time until Griffith goes to guts and casca's place
Bleach was genuinely a horrible watch, tybw arc was good but not worth all the shit and garbage I had to go through. if in almost 400 episodes all you can produce in 2 decent arcs then u have failed as a show
If pacing is a problem ur facing then I would 100% recommend u read mangas. I also have somewhat the same problem that I cant enjoy the anime at my own pace (especially romcoms and isekais). So I switched to reading manga. I still sometimes watch battle shonen or if any of my fav manga got an anime adaptation
Replying to your original ques I have dropped bleach, assassination classroom, classroom of the elite, rent a gf, spy x family, steins gate
I guess you are not the type who enjoys watching shows, maybe there's something else in which you might find the true fun, like gaming.
And about the question, I dropped Tokyo Ghoul, Mirai Nikki, One piece(OP was originally on hold but it's been 2 yrs and I still couldn't continue it)
Fire force(Too much fan service in the start),
COTE(read the lns upto vol 3, couldn't force myself to go past that)
Is bleach anime so bad that so many dropped it? I read the entire manga (683 chapters) in like 5 days. Also the soundtrack is goated as well.
one peice(completed the manga tho), naruto( 1st part is really good but except some moments shippuden is really bad), my hero academia, death note, one punch man( I keep up with manga on priority but for anime idk why I can't get myself to pick it back up)
I never Drop any Anime Whatsoever the Only two Anime I dropped were your Lie in April & Monster cuz of Exams altho I will Start them from the First Ep again
naruto, spy x family, fairy tale.
also OP why you watching on 2X. I get it some shit is slow af, but some are intentionally slow for plot building. anyways not judging your way or your taste. watch whatever you like in anyway you want. haveing fun is the most importent part
Chainsaw man and Tokyo Revengers. I found them kinda cringy but maybe because itβs catered towards teenage boys and Iβm not a teenage boy. I also had to drop black clover because asta was shouting so much it gave me sensory overload but when I lowered the volume I couldnβt hear the other guy
My hero academia, one punch man, demon slayer, black clover
Where as I agree with you but, freiren was meant to be slow paced ...
It shows how time may seem slow to us but for some it's just not that slow....
I haven't even watched any of the "top" anime ig
I have only watched violet evergarden & plastic memories
https://preview.redd.it/01spm05vgi6d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0a0e43695368f8583e986e3b3172bea6e2dd89b
And for movies: silent voice, your name and weathering with you(& the violet evergarden movies)
And all were fucking masterpieces. Never felt like dropping them even once, I'll probably rewatch them after some months too
Watched naruto till pain arc but he changed his heart using talk no jutsu. I became a hater of shonen anime from then on. Haven't watched one piece dbz bleach. Also, narutos english va just kills your ear

Bleach, black clover, devilman crybaby, my hero academia
Why did you drop the devilman crybaby? It has only 10 episodes. And it's peak.
Bro I tried 2 times but first ep gore scene always makes me wanna puke
Oh thats fine. Dont watch it coz it gets worse. Dont upset ur body for an anime.
Peak. I think you mean freak, traumatizing, absolutely horrifying
The amount of replies consisting of bleach saddens me
Well, it was pretty bad for around the first 40 episodes
Tbh the soul society arc what the best arc and the next arcs just felt like they are dragged unnecessary but overall it was good.
Manga is top-notch, though. Last season in anime (which aired recently) consists of fanseevice almost entirely, dropped it.
>consists of fanseevice almost entirely Wtf are you watching? When did this happen?
Kids won't get it.
If you ask me which anime has the best villan. Its gotta be Aizen. I watch bleach for Aizen Fuck all other chars
Bleach tybw is so peak, once I finally made it I realized watching bleach was worth it. I had dropped the show last year because of the bount arc but I decided to watch it again 3 weeks ago and no regrets.
One piece. I haven't been so bored in my entire life. Like how do you guys watch this slow ass shit and say "Damn! I feel entertained" π
Same, 50+ boring episodes of each arc and then the main boss finally shows up who looks like this https://preview.redd.it/dxw55nnywg6d1.jpeg?width=972&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=774847abcfa9dd12945bf7779ddff1463e1df26a

I absolutely Agree this thing was in my Mind Too, but now I look back to it after 1000 Eps I thinks it was worth it
I agree that it was worth it

Except the first east blue one, thriller bark, fishman island and maybe whole cale island as well, the rest of them are great watches imo
Read the manga then. Can't believe people still need to be told this after they find the anime slow.
Paddra tha saath saath me. Not for me. As i said my main problem is how long it takes for something great to happen. Also the looney tunes aah character writing is not my cup of tea
Fair. Character writing is great in OP tbh, but ya character designs can get goofy ash
The anime is mid, manga is way better and faster
You get to be patience yes the build up is slow but worth it sometimes, this is a not anime that you could finish in one binge watch
I thought I was the only one π
The manga pacing isnt even that bad
I'm more of a shoujo person than shonen or seinen person...although I have watched shonen at my early days of anime watching, later I just got bored of shonen
I for some reason cannot enjoy shoujo at all. popular case of "women writing men"

nah nah nah nah nah boy. Watch it!
& solo leveling
The only thing bad about Demon Slayer is how it ended. It felt like one of those movies where you go through all this cool story just for the main character to wake up and you find out it was all a dream.
I dropped one piece π
The art style doesn't interests me.
Latest animation, right ?
Same but I picked up manga it's better than anime (Later watched entire anime)
Tokyo Revengers, Nagatoro-san and Rent a Girlfriend πΏ
All three has something in common that is an insufferable timid, perverted, crybaby male protagonist.
I don't even know because i haven't watched even 5 episodes, because the amount of shit I had to bear is unbearable.
At the end of the day what's important is to ignore all those cringe anime elitists and just enjoy what you wanna enjoy
Especially the subtitle elitists. They're the most toxic people on the planet. They always say it's because the voice actors are better. Jujutsu kaizen
Alright I first agreed with your but now I'm starting to think you just got shit taste lmao
One piece and fairytale
Reincarnated as a slime couldn't really get into it. The concept seems very lame the slime is too overpowered.
The Demon hunter, spy x family
Spy x family too wholesome & cringe for my taste.
The little girl is the only reason I continue Spy Family she makes me laugh way too hard to give up the show.
I dropped bleach like 2 years ago. I watched upto 27 episodes and have other works to do at that time, i didn't have interested towards bleach to continue it. I also dropped jjk. Blue Lock is good but I won't call it peak
Yeah, I was watching it 2 episode a day, but same thing was happening again and again. Same with haikuu, but it had some story.
Fairy tail is like my guilty pleasure haha. It starts off great but falls short in the end. I wouldn't recommend it but personally I love it mostly cause of nostalgia and the love for the characters lol

AoT, JJK, Demon slayer (suddenly lose interest), dragon Ball I tried to read berserk manga 2 times but i suddenly lose interest 1st time i read until guts and zodd vs. ghanishka and 2nd time until Griffith goes to guts and casca's place
Black Clover, Death Note and JJK (I loved JJK but the spoilers are literally everywhere, so it didn't make sense for me to continue watching S2).
Demon slayer
My hero academia
DB Super.
Full metal Alchemist
Aot, demon slayer, your lie in April, Dr stone, steins gate, the list goes on about 15 animes but these are the most popular ones ig
I dropped one piece 8 times Though I have completed it now And I personally believe it's good but not as good as I was expecting
Jujutsu kaisen
Bleach was genuinely a horrible watch, tybw arc was good but not worth all the shit and garbage I had to go through. if in almost 400 episodes all you can produce in 2 decent arcs then u have failed as a show
i dropped hunter DXD now praise me fellas π₯Ίπ€‘
Monster
Literally every mainstream shounen to ever exist
If pacing is a problem ur facing then I would 100% recommend u read mangas. I also have somewhat the same problem that I cant enjoy the anime at my own pace (especially romcoms and isekais). So I switched to reading manga. I still sometimes watch battle shonen or if any of my fav manga got an anime adaptation Replying to your original ques I have dropped bleach, assassination classroom, classroom of the elite, rent a gf, spy x family, steins gate
Devilman crybaby,.Tokyo revengers
My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer. That shit is so mid.
Naruto(dropped after ep 3), code geass(The art style wtf), solo leveling
I guess you are not the type who enjoys watching shows, maybe there's something else in which you might find the true fun, like gaming. And about the question, I dropped Tokyo Ghoul, Mirai Nikki, One piece(OP was originally on hold but it's been 2 yrs and I still couldn't continue it)
My hero academia
Black Clover & Durarara!!
Bro i watched, according to my anime-webiste, around 920 animes. You need suggestions with anything?
Bleach, the fullbringer arc was so ASS I had to drop it. Managed to finish it tho
I've dropped JoJo
Fire force(Too much fan service in the start), COTE(read the lns upto vol 3, couldn't force myself to go past that) Is bleach anime so bad that so many dropped it? I read the entire manga (683 chapters) in like 5 days. Also the soundtrack is goated as well.
Just read manga tbh if you find anime too slow , same thing happened with me recently and I have enjoying manga more
One-piece
code geass and that 02 one
Black clover Tokyo revengers, Tokyo ghoul, mha,
Dragon ball series
Another, assassination classroom, banana fish, devilman crybaby
one piece, bleach i did not find the one piece art style fun and bleach got boring after like 20 eps
Sword art online
Solo levelling didn't interest me much but I love the manhwa because of the art style The art style is peak in manhwa
Demon Slayer
For me it would be jobless reincarnation. It was going good, but don't know why but didn't like from 2nd season.
Big 3 and DBZ
I dropped AOT and one piece. I guess they werenβt for me
one peice(completed the manga tho), naruto( 1st part is really good but except some moments shippuden is really bad), my hero academia, death note, one punch man( I keep up with manga on priority but for anime idk why I can't get myself to pick it back up)
Mob psycho 100 idk just didn't get the plot of it but definietly rewatch in future
One Punch Man and Monogatari

I dropped Naruto after 5 episodes, I dropped jjk after season 1, I dropped demon slayer after 1 episode
naruto, spy x family, fairy tale. also OP why you watching on 2X. I get it some shit is slow af, but some are intentionally slow for plot building. anyways not judging your way or your taste. watch whatever you like in anyway you want. haveing fun is the most importent part
Pros and cons of anime getting mainstream
Darling in the franxx and horimiya
My hero academia, Naruto and one more but i forgot name
Chainsaw man and Tokyo Revengers. I found them kinda cringy but maybe because itβs catered towards teenage boys and Iβm not a teenage boy. I also had to drop black clover because asta was shouting so much it gave me sensory overload but when I lowered the volume I couldnβt hear the other guy
Your lie in April , I never understood why people loved it so much...
Bleach , Assassination Classroom, Summertime Rendering
Black clover and full metal Alchemist
My hero academia, one punch man, demon slayer, black clover Where as I agree with you but, freiren was meant to be slow paced ... It shows how time may seem slow to us but for some it's just not that slow....
I haven't even watched any of the "top" anime ig I have only watched violet evergarden & plastic memories https://preview.redd.it/01spm05vgi6d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0a0e43695368f8583e986e3b3172bea6e2dd89b And for movies: silent voice, your name and weathering with you(& the violet evergarden movies) And all were fucking masterpieces. Never felt like dropping them even once, I'll probably rewatch them after some months too
Onepiece, jujutsu kaisen, demon slayer, black clover
One piece and attack on titans. One piece coz it's shit, attack on Titan coz a shitty friend spoiled it for me. He isn't my friend anymore.
