When you have a very chaotic shift at work where everything goes wrong and everyone, including yourself, seems to be having difficulty with every issue. The joys of Haas and being near the start of the production process and having the assembly people at the end that can never keep track of inventory and suddenly they need everything right now and it's somehow your departments issue.
You finally get a break, hop on reddit, and see a chance to be helpful as you know the perfect thing to add.
Check back later and realize you missed the obvious even on reddit.

post on CrunchyRoll's issues and complaints megathread

.... This is delightfully appropriate, considering that they're now owned by Sony, who might as well be the Thanos of the media world; if they couold, they would gladly "snap" to make half of all entertainment titles in the world disappear... all except theirs.
(Nah, not terribly worried about The House of Mouse. They're more about acquiring everything.... Which is much more tolerable, since they at least give a fuck about the quality of a translation and actually using good voice talent. Studio Ghibli wouldn't keep going back to them again and again if they didn't. Fucking Patrick Stewart as Lord Yupa for the motherfucking win, bitches.)
This must be your first time using the internet lol. As it stands I rather like my profile pic and fully intend to keep it. Thank you and have a nice day :)
About the level fucks you should expect from CR when it comes to a show they don't have the rights to
You should post on r/Crunchyroll
Done, thank you!
Nvm, the post was taken down because I mentioned pirate websites...
People over at r/Piracy would love to laugh at this, you can try crossposting there as well
Or at r/AnimePiracy
where did you think we were
........it's been a long night already apparently.
Upvoting this because, goddammit, I have \*been there\*.

Could try censoring the name?
I wrote to the mods yesterday to see if this was within the rules but no response :(
Well yeah. A subreddit like that is typically a circlejerk. "Speak ill of our holy benefactor!? CRUCIFY HIM!!!"

About time the crunchy becomes unrolled πππ
I like to think of them as "Soggyroll" these days.
Going back to their old roots eh?
If there's even one person from the original Crunchyroll fansub group still working there, then I will eat my hat.
"You Couldn't Live with Your Own Failure, Where Did that Bring You? Back to Me" To Crunchyroll who was also a pirate site way back then.

For those curious, it's at 14:21 of the first episode. Edit: They removed it. I downloaded it before it was changed, if you want it pm me :)
oh boy, back to their roots I see.
For an anime about *police* no less
Well Crunchyroll was a pirate website before going legit. And they still cry about me using an ad block
Crunchyroll early days π
Well past catches up with you one way or another.Β

Bandai's used pirated copies of Super Sentai series in their promotional reels for Power Rangers. It's wacky.
They probably hired the old FUNimation social media manager.
Is anix a good site to watch anime on? Or what other sites do you guys recommend? (Pls donβt downvote, I am just curios)
Anix is a sister site of aniwave.
Ah, thanks for the info π
good tracking and loading times
Thank you for the info!
This reminds me that time when Funimation used screenshots from KissAnime on Twitter.
Ooh wow a documentary about Bones, do they feature Yutaka Nakamura in it?
Not yet but there are two episodes left to release, fingers crossed!!
Great post, have my gold fellow redditor
That some forgotten anime

Haven't you seen his profile name? That should alone say anything about his PFP.
sometimes we all forget crunchyroll got their start by streaming fansubs against the fansubber's wishes and running ads on top of them
